I have been a frequent visitor to the Waterford CT papa ginos. They’re pizza is delicious. However, I was in Warwick Ri and stopped at this location. I ordered a small cheese pizza with hamburger and pepperoni. I’ve ordered this numerous times at the Waterford CT location. This was my worst experience. I will be posting pictures to back up my experience. The pizza was a river of grease and oil. The cheese looked smudged in liquid. The cheese and toppings feel off the pizza. ( granted I waited 15 min to eat the pizza) the pizza was so oily and greesy it ruined my leather seats in my car. The sauce was sour as if it was expired or not properly dated and timed. This was not something I was happy about and am disappointed because I love papa johns. Now I have to get my seats detailed all because of 13.94 at this location. I’ll be in touch with corporate about my experience because I doubt anyone will read this.

We ordered a small cheese (free after creating an account), a large cheesy breadsticks, large meaty, and large loaded vegee pizzas. The large was the best deal. We got 20% off for ordering online. The pizza was also much less greasy than I remembered, which is a good thing. All in all, the order was ready when we arrived and we enjoyed our meal.

Completely disagree with the one stars! People, get over yourselves! Like the last review… “I didn’t get Parmesan cheese “sprinkled” over my pizza?” So you gave them a one! Oh and you did not receive utensils? Well… they way you described the checkout, it sounds like you ordered online, but were able to move to your vehicle from the couch, so it was as “in-store”, you could have simply checked your pizza by opening that very light cardboard lid and see if you had enough sprinkles! Orrrr ask again for the plates and utensils! Sorry, they were not working on your own specific order, it is a company working for many customers! Papa Gino’s does not revolve around thyself! And for the tip? You sound like a zero type of tip anyways! 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

Ordered online for take out. After arriving no one acknowledged that I was there, nor for the customer that came in before me. He had to ask an employee walking by to check on his order. Don't know how long we would have waited if he hadn't done that. Update 11/23: Better experience this time. Order wasn't ready when I arrived BUT at least they acknowledged me right away.

Consistent, arrives hot and they usually offer good deals if you sign up for their app!

Took the grandkids in for lunch. The pizza was yummy-as usual. The staff was friendly and helpful (and patient!). Always a great place to stop in for a quick bite!

Even though it was for a free small cheese pizza for my birthday, the staff were courteous and didn't have a judgemental time like some people do when U only get the free stuff. Thank you for that.

My Caesar salad is always great. Sometimes the breadsticks aren’t fresh but today they were good.
