First time at DKH. The atmosphere was beautiful. Service was excellent from our waitress. But on entry there is a coat check in from someone you can tell did not want to be here and the same for the hostess that was not excited to be at work. The food was overall a 2.5 stars out of 5. I think the atmosphere was great. The waitress was excellent but for the price. I have had better meals elsewhere in Chester county PA.

I went for my birthday dinner with some friends and we had a great time. The restaurant is small and cozy. The food is pricey but delicious. The layout can be kind of confusing but I really like how charming it is with the fireplace going and Christmas decorations everywhere. Next time I may want to stay in a room. I'll definitely be back for the food.

Food was excellent from start to finish. I definitely recommend the lobster bisque, mushroom bisque, and bananas foster. It was great, just over priced for what it is.

Went for dinner, stayed for a drink at the bar. Great food, wonderful service, and a super unique atmosphere.

Overpriced and not a good choice for anyone with food allergies. The Vegan Vegetable Gnocchi is NOT vegan; it has asiago cheese in it. Why would you ever name something vegan that has cheese in its mixture? That's just plain dangerous and daft. Lastly, the crab "cake" is a tiny little cake with 4 pieces of broccolini and a few half burnt fries. This was a pass for us.

I always come here with family for Thanksgiving and New Years Eve. Both this year did not disappoint for the most part. Was a tad disappointed there was no add ons for NYE this year, such as lobster tail, but the food was still wonderful. We had the baked brie and caprese salad for appetizers. The baked brie comes with a raspberry sauce and almonds and melts in your mouth. Entrees were the filet, strip steak, and a vegan gnocchi. All were cooked to perfection. Also can never go wrong with the dessert- we had the cheese strudel and we wish we had room for more! Drinks are always made fabulous by Michael at the downstairs bar- always ask for drinks to be made by him! Also any server you get for your meal will be top notch- never have had an issue with our server!

My husband and I hosted a family wedding reception on June 10th at the Duling-Kurtz. We choose to have our party of 17 to order from the menu. We were so pleased with the quality of the food and the attentive service we received. Our party had a lovely room on the second floor looking out of the garden. The lighting and ambience were pleasant and inviting. Our party included young children, teenagers, young adults and adults. Everyone was pleased with their menu choices and enjoyed the evening together. I highly recommend the Duling-Kurtz for a special occasion or just a relaxing dinner out.

Nice quiet table but server had too many tables in other room. We waited with nothing in front of us up to 15 min. throughout meal which came lukewarm, unappealing plating, and odd pairings. Cabbage “ tossed” on plate beside the one unremarkable crab cake was called coleslaw, the crepes we’re supposed to have lobster and crab- but lobster hard to find and crepes served on top of mashed potatoes instead of in a nice flavorful SAUCE. The sauce on top of crepe was like an orange fish sauce and not pleasant. We didn’t bother with dessert because we didn’t want to wait another half hour to get it. A friend had a similar experience a few days later. Shame. $$$$$ for poor experience.

Amazing dinner tonight for our anniversary. We were seated next to the fireplace as requested and our server (Julia I think) was fantastic. I came here for the weinerschnitzel and it did not disappoint. My husband had the lobster crepes which he loved. We both had the chocolate mousse for dessert which was divine. Beautiful restaurant, great food, great service.

My wife and I frequent the restaurant about once a week. This is one of our favorite establishments to enjoy dinner and drinks in our area. in 2014, I proposed to my wife in the engagement room, so this is a special place for us. The owner even helped me pick up the box with the engagement ring and deliver it at the right time. They have the best oysters Rockefeller and shrimp cocktail in the area. Bartender Michael Paone is great to serve drinks and we like to sit at a bar table. The decor at Christmastime is delightful. Highly recommended!!
