My family with small kids stopped here on our last day at Yellowstone. It was a nice visit to see the animals they care for at this rescue. The bear habitat is very impressive. They rotate which bears are in the enclosure regularly. Each time the bears come in, they are looking for the food hidden by the caretakers, which is very interesting to watch. The eagles, owls and hawks were fun to spot, as their natural camouflage hid them from plain sight. The display of trash cans and coolers that bears broke into was really interesting, especially to see how they did it. We spent about an hour there and were able to see all the exhibits.

We woke up to the wolves howling, it was awesome! The wolves were adorable, the bears were showing off for us, and the birds were just chilling. The otters were some of the cutest animals we've seen in captivity in a long time. The bears were all saved from stupid humans and the birds were all injured and now live here. The gift shop was nice, get a picture with the big stuffed bear!

Best place to visit to see Grizzly bears and wolves. For those who don’t camp don’t get a chance to see the mighty grizzly bears and wolves, so this is the right place to see them. The discovery centre has an entry fee $16 per adult and can be visited anytime within 24hrs from purchasing the ticket. They also demo how to use bear spray, bear habitat and how to handle the situation in case of contact with bears. (Should be booked early to book the slot). The entrance shows a display of bears, their first encounters, life cycle, museum kind of and then we enter into their live habitat where u see bears, wolves, raptors, otters, and squirrels (other species) that undergo hibernation. It also has shopping area to purchase various items.

This is a GREAT place! Our family stopped here on our way into Yellowstone and really enjoyed our visit. The exhibit and habitats are excellent and there is a LOT of areas to view the animals. They have several rescue animals and include otters, birds of prey (golden and bald eagles, owls, etc.) In addition to the grizzlies and wolves. Weather does NOT affect your ability to see the animals and they have covered areas to keep you dry or shaded. An awesome facility, totally worth the visit. Pass is good for 2 consecutive days so save your receipt!

We really do enjoy going here every time we go to yellowstone. There's a museum that you walk through that has stuffed bears, bear facts, and interactive screens where you can learn about bears and a small theatre to learn about wolves and bears. The wolves are usually only on the far left side, and are all out. but they are pretty and look well taken care of. The Bear exhibit only has one bear out at a time, but it's interesting to listen to what these bears would do in the wild and how they simulate that here. The otters are cute but the most I've ever seen are 2. Gift shop is expensive but it has some unique gifts. I definitely recommend it! 🐻 🐻‍❄

This place is amazing! I loved seeing the fauna there! Otters, fish, birds of prey, wolves, bears..Oh my!! The staff people we spoke to were nice and informative. The details provided about the bears were educational. I don't know if this was a default condition, but when we purchased our tickets, we were informed we could use them for the next day, as well, which is a great value! Keep up the good work! PS: The only thing I found a little odd/funny was, one of the caps there had the establishment's name on it, but a silhouette of an otter was on the cap, not a grizzly or wolf 😄

We really loved this place. We got there right when it opened at 9:00am on a Saturday and that was a good call because it got busy pretty quickly by about 9:30am. All the wolves were active when we first got there which was interesting to watch. They were all just lying around by the time we left. The grizzly bears were awesome we saw 3. They rotate them in and out and let them forage for food that they hid. The zoo keepers are great and provide information on the animals while you view them. The aquarium area with the otters is amazing but gets crowded fast. We had it to ourselves for a while since we got there early. Overall very nice facility with great information on animals. Also they give AAA auto club member discounts on general admission. It was $15.50 for an adult and $10.50 for a child. Definitely a must see for the wolves and grizzlies up close if you are into animals.

Spent 2 hours here and it was fabulous. The wolves were incredible, luckily we were able to watch them roam around. The Grizzlies were amazing, too. Great bird displays including Eagles, Owls, and hawks. The otter area gets you up close, and it was cool to see the cutthroat trout exhibit. Very affordable entry, too!
