I
have
never
written
a
negative
review
before,
but
in
this
case
it
is
merited.
I've
been
to
lots
of
doctor's
offices
and
never
had
an
experience
like
this.
If
you
go
here,
expect
unexpected
fees,
unhelpful
doctors,
and
bad
service.
I've
never
had
such
a
distinct
feeling
that
I
was
being
charged
for
as
many
things
as
possible.
I
was
charged
about
$175
out
of
pocket
for
an
annual
physical
and
spent
a
long
time
on
the
phone
with
both
my
insurance
and
Medical
Offices
of
Manhattan
trying
to
sort
out
all
the
charges.
I
would
not
go
back.
As
part
of
the
annual
physical,
I
got
lab
work
done.
Regardless
of
the
lab
results,
the
office
required
me
to
return
in
person
to
discuss
the
lab
work
-
so,
I
had
to
pay
a
$125
deductible
to
come
for
a
five
minute
visit
for
the
doctor
to
tell
me
that
my
results
were
all
normal.
They
refused
to
do
this
by
phone
and
they
have
no
online
messaging
portal.
Again,
the
goal
seems
to
be
extracting
more
fees.
I
also
got
a
bill
for
a
deductible
for
the
annual
physical
itself.
My
insurance
company
said
that
Medical
Offices
of
Manhattan
had
added
several
additional
visit
codes
in
addition
to
the
preventive
care
physical,
and
that
they
billed
me
for
those.
It
took
several
emails
and
phone
conversations
to
convince
Medical
Offices
of
Manhattan
to
re-code
the
annual
physical
visit,
and
I
still
ended
up
with
a
charge
that
they
billed
to
my
card.
As
for
the
doctor's
visit
itself
-
my
time
with
the
doctor
was
extremely
brief.
She
asked
me
very
few
questions
-
few
of
the
typical
annual
physical
questions
about
my
health,
lifestyle,
and
family
history.
When
I
brought
up
some
health
concerns,
she
referred
me
to
specialists
within
the
practice
without
asking
more
questions.
I
felt
like
the
goal
was
to
get
more
co-pays
out
of
me
rather
than
to
actually
engage
with
me
and
provide
care.
Don't
go
here.
Improper
fees
for
bad
patient
care.
