Boulder Pediatrics at foothills is a mess. My daughter was refused care because we were 5 minutes late, 5 MINUTES due to the terrible parking situation. We very much needed to see the dr. this was not a routine check up and the nurse was incredibly odious. We drove around for 10 minutes before finding a parking spot and then had to wait in line to even check in with the receptionist. The nurse was beyond rude. Rude doesn't even describe it. I am not rating any of the Drs. But the pediatrics department needs to rethink the people they have managing the schedule and interacting with the patients.

I went in for my first ultrasound and had a horrible experience. First the blonde receptionist is very rude and had bad attitude (maybe because I’m Hispanic and on Medicaid)? I watched her help a couple people ahead of me and she was very kind to them. When it was my turn she didn’t even look at me. She stared at her computer screen the whole time she checked me in. I was seen by Dr .Shemsedini. Her assistant was great, however Dr. Shemshidini was mean and not professional. She said some horrible things I can’t even express on here because I don’t want to share my medical history. I looked forward to this appointment anxiously and excited, but I left feeling awful. I received horrible service from the start. I will never forget the way she made me feel. I don’t recommend going here. I called and cancelled my follow up appointment and made an appointment to see a different prenatal provider.

I really wanted to love this clinic, but after dealing with them for eight months, I am going elsewhere for my healthcare needs. Some of my reasons are listed below: - They seem to have a high turnover of physicians. As a new patient they assigned me to an OB/GYN who was a FILL IN and it happened to be her LAST day. Now, my new OB/GYN is resigning effective the end of December. - I witnessed the front desk being exceptionally rude and unhelpful to a mother who was there with her young child. They had given her the wrong office location and when she asked them to call the other location to tell them she was on her way, they refused to make the call. - They are not reliable when it comes to returning calls. - They do not follow up on test and scan results. I never received any call backs from the office on any of my results. I always had to call them, and even after calling them, all they do is read back the report. Getting them to interpret the report is like pulling teeth and takes another several phone calls back and forth between the patient and a medical assistant (maybe a nurse if you are lucky) instead of between the patient and the doctor. - They do not use their portal for test results or for after visit summaries. - They do not have a cancellation list. - Appointments are few and far between. Telehealth appointments are available but there is no benefit as they are not more readily available. The only saving grace in the OB/GYN department is their phone nurse, Cheryl, if you are fortunate to reach her. But sadly, she is not enough of a draw to continue with this poorly managed clinic.

I have been going to BMC for a long time and things have changed. The staff used to be helpful and friendly. Now they just manage the egos of Dr Robyn Nordstrom Lane, who should just retire, and the other docs. They change appointments and then push out simple well visits for months. Why bother practicing medicne when you have no interest in seeing patients. Thank god I did not have anything seriously wrong with me. Would not hire Dr. Robyn Nordstrom Lane to rake my leaves. She would never show up.

BMC offices don't talk to each other. I had a minor irritation in my mouth, and started with a general practitioner, who referred me to the ENT department. The ENT department refused to pull the records from my visit to the GP, and wanted a second consultation visit before performing the service the GP recommended. In all, to have this very minor irritation in my mouth addressed, I would have to do at least 3 visits to BMC. You can just hear the fat cats there getting richer. Not only that-- they were asking me to take a covid test, and were planning to charge me for it, even though *by law* covid testing is free. BMC also won't tell you what a medical procedure costs. The receptionists can't answer basic questions about billing, and at one point, I was actually told that in order to find out how much my visit would cost, I would have to go through with the visit-- in other words, I have to buy the visit and they will tell me how much it will cost later. That's morally reprehensible and serves as an example of how broken our medical system actually is.

Boulder pediatrics is a mess. My daughter had her routine appointment. I had called the day before to cancel the appointment because she was sick. No one picked up so they called back and left a voicemail saying “thanks for calling and canceling, we canceled her appointment and just give us a call back when you want to reschedule” I called and rescheduled. I later received a letter in the mail for a no show fee. I called asking why, as I had the email confirming her appointment was canceled. They assured me it was a glitch in their system and not to worry. 3 months later I received a letter in the mail from their board saying my daughter is no longer allowed to go there! I called and they said I had to fill out a repeal. Which I did although I have the voicemail with the date of them saying it was canceled. I now have to wait until the 23rd for them to “maybe” let her come back. Right now she has had a fever and I wanted to bring her in to get a Covid test. They refused. Although I also have a son who goes there and they are allowing him to go. Every single bill I’ve ever had had been paid on time. So unprofessional.

Do not go to this emergency room/hospital for ultrasounds, if you have an ovarian cyst, TSS, for birth control, etc. Go to planned parenthood or a clinic that is concerned about your general health and wellness. I was treated like a baby when I have been through absolute pain. Multiple "nurse" "receptionists" were extremely rude to me and put people with more minor symptoms in front of me. Gave me very little information/general assistance about everything. Then proceeded to watch me like a lab rat and told me to leave with a novel - could've emailed me! Let's be environmentally friendly! that contained some information pertaining to me and some information I never told them or asked for. Did not even get my height or weight correct. And would not let me have my own medical records when I asked for them. Due to things that were done/not done I do genuinely think some licenses should be taken away. Matthew Loran, MD and Kim Feldhaus were nice enough to ask if I was ok.

This place is 1 step away from a malpractice lawsuit. My girlfriend went in last night for sharp pains in her appendix. They did a blood test, tried to say that an increased white blood cell count has nothing to do with infection. They didn't want to do a Cat scan until my girlfriend demanded that they put on the paperwork that they refused to do one and when they did do a cat scan it showed an enlarged appendix. They continues to refuse treatment and one of the nurses even hit her. Will definitely be hearing from lawyers. I have no idea what kind of dog and pony show they're running here but these are NOT medical professionals.

Although Ive had pretty decent care by physicians at Boulder Medical Center, and really like the folks I have dealt with, I often feel as though I am ruled by systematic and procedural requirements that have nothing to do with my needs as a person. I think that they are competent, medically, and individually, but over the past decade are ruled more as corporation than personal health care. They work hard, but frequently there is no follow through in a timely manner, and one must learn to stay on top of their own care, not trusting departmental people to be in place to remember details like making follow up appointments, sending out results, answering phone calls. I know that most people are now working only Monday through Thursday, so the Friday through Sunday inability to access your own health care team is irritating.

Can never fill my birth control prescription without multiple calls and voicemails. Charges for things with no notice. The bill showed unexpectedly and they don’t even put their phone number on it. Shady practices and terrible service. Not going back.

After being diagnosed with Type II diabetes nearly 20 years ago, I always thought of myself as a medical Guinea Pig. As I went through the rainbow of pills, injections, pens and finally an insulin pump, I felt that my physicians were experimenting with me and my diabetes. Try this, try that was how I was treated. When I finally retired and (yes!) changed insurance plans, I had a suggestion to switch doctors and be treated by a true endocrinologist. Dr. Lerner has been the best thing for my treatment! She is knowledgeable, thorough and spot on. I highly recommend her to any of you who are struggling with your diabetes treatment

Communication could be improved. I scheduled an appointment and the info person at main entrance was very friendly, but sent me to the wrong location twice, so I ended up being late for my appointment. When I got to the right place, they told me that it would have to be a video call because I listed "cough" on my reasons for visit (an allergy-related cough). If I was going to have to do a video appointment because of a cough, this should have been communicated ahead of time, so that I wouldn't have wasted time driving all the way to the center.

In my opinion, Doctor Donald L Mccormack and his medical practice at boulder medical center are engaged in medical billing fraud. I've reported them to the BBB and Colorado Department of regulatory agencies. I additionally filed a complaint against this doctors medical license. I would avoid this practice at all costs, they are fraudsters in my opinion.

Receptionist is weirdly rude. I struggled to find parking so was 2 (two) minutes late for an appointment. She continued to chat with a colleague and seemed annoyed to finally acknowledge me. She noted “your appointment was at 9:30… it’s 9:33…. That means you’re late.” Then said she’s not sure if anyone would want to still see me but that I could go back if I wanted to try. I’m not someone who’s chronically late + was nowhere near the 15 minute window, so those comments were super unnecessary. I like most of the practitioners (OBGYNs) I’ve had, but they’ve switched me around based on qualifications and gave drastically different recommendations on some potentially serious things. One would talk about how grave a condition was and the other would downplay any fears and talked me out of a procedure.

I switched to Avista Women’s Care a few years ago and noticed a huge difference with the front desk customer service. I one time scheduled with Boulder and when I showed up they claimed I never made an appointment. Even if there was a misunderstanding, I was never owed an apology. I was also charged numerous times for late fees, which I paid on time. Just awful to deal with, and now am glad I made a change. I encourage others to do the same if you want to be treated with respect.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. This place is beyond unprofessional and have the worst communication skills I have ever witnessed in a office setting. I definitely will not be back and won't refer anyone here!!!!
