Info center located just opposite to the train station entrance. Selection of souvenirs and postcards aren't very big, you can find more in souvenir shops in the city center. Here you can buy city guide book. I must say it costs bigger than for example, guide books which were bought in Bremen and Hamburg.

We spent a few minutes in here. Staff seemed more interested in chatting amongst themselves so we picked up some leaflets and left. City tours are also run by the Tourist Board and start from here. We booked one of these tours for what I’d regard as a high price and unfortunately we didn’t get value for money. The guide was unprepared and didn’t seem to have a list of those who had booked. While the tour is advertised as being in English and German, the reality is that it was mostly in German with the occasional bit of English. In addition, the guide tried to get rid of the non-German speakers about half way through by encouraging us to go off on our own. Some left but we persevered. Very poor overall and not recommended.
