A small perfect dominant middle social class suburban columbus park. Next to a library with a restroom facility on hand water fountain decent shade nice small lawn space benches shelter house splash pad and some playground choices. Mothers had met for story time as run by a lady at the library Playground has identical small set as found at whetstone park by their duck (geese really) pond. Huge tube slide with a difficult (but fun for many) barrier of entry. Splash pad has a button activated spouts out of ground with a raised ledge with bushes on the other side. Swings facing morning sun but evening would be shaded.

It's okay. Cool for something different. It's usually very busy. Kiddo seems to lose interest here pretty quickly after he climbs a couple of times. I wouldn't make a trip across town for it, but if you're in the area, it's worth stopping by.

Lots of fun for kids (and adults) who enjoy splash pads on hot days. There's also a large climbing structure with two slides.

This is unique kind of park in middle of uptown. I liked most is climbing tower and where you need to climb the ropes to go slides. Two slider are there at two different height, it seems easy but kind of challenging. There is small water play park as well for kids to play in summer. There is big cycle way as well for kids to play or ride. One more easy way to find is it’s next to westerville public library and you can see from the library.

There are 2 play places, one for very young children and one for bigger kids. My small 6 year old could not climb the big structure and was bored on the "baby playground". Need some better middle ground so everyone can play!

Cute park. Nice splash pad. The play area is either for very young or older kids tho.

Such an awesome park! I didn't realize how big it got (from Westerville, but don't currently live there). It is very busy, so it's probably better for older kids, but it was still fun!

Terrific spot for a break on the bike path. Rest rooms, water, tire pump, picnic tables, shade. Fun playground for kids.

It's a cute little park and a perfect location for it to be behind the Westerville Library. The splash pad is nothing fancy or themed. 3 swinging benches with lots of other places to sit and relax. They've got a 1 special needs swing, a mommy and me swing with a few regular swings. A cute toddler play ground and a climbing tower with slidersfor older children. The tower needs some attention as the footholds are missing in quite a few sections. It's cute but not enough for all age groups.

Relatively small park, but kids always have a blast when we go here. Lots of benches to sit on and they are in good condition. Convenient to the Westerville Library to go to the park and library on the same outing.

The splash pad is great but the playground equipment is awful. The big structure is only suitable for older kids. My 3y/o wants to climb it to go down the slide. The toddler set is not interesting at all and has no fun equipment. My child is pretty physically advanced but I see most little kids getting easily bored. I never see kids at this playground unless the library is holding an event or people are coming for the splash pad. Westerville has much better parks and failed here, but the library is close and we love the library.

So Amazing!!! The splash pad is simple but so great!! Kept my kiddos busy 4 hours!! Lovely pavilion where we had a picnic! Then my kids wore themselves out on the giant slide/spiderweb!!!

Fun place to be at. It's only a short walk from the Westerville library so it's a good place to relax and have fun. The playground is different (in a good way) with water, swings, and this huge building/play palace. It can be fun for kids to try and reach the top, or for kids to slide down.

Great park for the kids. Really great equipment, cool water feature, and a few good picnic tables.

We love this little park! It has a mommy (or daddy) and me swing, two big slides, a splash pad with plenty of seating, shaded grass area and a pavilion with picnic tables. We’ve visited twice and will be back soon!

Fantastic park in Westerville. Right behind the Westerville library this park has a great playground suitable for a wide range of ages, a nice pavilion with some history. Access to a great walking and riding trail, and the gem of the park. A kid activatable fountain that they can run through in the summer.

The new playground at Hanby Park isn't having it's official grand opening until Saturday, May 12th, but my daughter and I stopped by a couple days early after a trip to the Westerville Library (which this playground is conveniently located just behind). This is an awesome park with a great location, and I'm sure it will be extremely popular. There's a really fun climbing/slide structure that's sure to be a hit with little climbers. I'm most excited that this park will be home to Westerville's first splash pad. What I love about the splash area is that there are big swings for parents to lounge on overlooking where their children can splash around. I can foresee the perfect summer day in Westerville: take advantage of the numerous bike paths for a family bike ride to Uptown, where you can grab a coffee, grab some donuts or lunch, and visit the library before finishing out the afternoon at Hanby Park!
