First visit- we sat at the bar because the place was packed. Went there at 4:30 pm on a taco Tuesday. Made it in time for happy hour which is 3-6 and had the Same Same margarita, mustache ride and blood orange margarita. All were delicious, but the same same was my personal favorite. The self-serve chips and salsa was nice and fresh. The place was hopping with energy and full but it took little time to get our $2 tacos delivered. We had a sampling of the Nashville taco, Baja shrimp, Tempura shrimp (fantastic), weekly taco feature (haven't had one as fresh since I was last in San Diego), roasted carnitas, and carne asada. Not a bad taco at all! All were wonderful. Tuesday is definitely a value time for their $2 tacos and the crowd came out. I was surprised at how much I liked the Nashville hot chicken taco. The downside for us was no options for my kiddo who doesn't enjoy Mexican cuisine but they didn't blink when he joined us at the bar and just ate chips. This is unusual nowadays. My hubs is already thinking of what to get next Tuesday.

Server acted like he hated being there and waiting on people. Food was ok. First time here. Probably won't be back. I don't live around here so 🤷. Place is super cool looking. Bar centered place. Food wasn't something I would want again. Maybe not my scene. It was made fine just Don't like it. Server needs to find a new job so he doesn't look miserable

I ate here on a Tuesday when the tacos are half off, and it was absolutely amazing! I got three tacos for about 7$ and they were pretty full. The free chips and dip also tasted really good. I would definitely go back on a Tuesday, the prices might be a bit high when the tacos aren’t half off. The wheezy, Nashville hot, and the chicken tinga tacos are highly recommended. Fast service and pleasant workers too!

This place is a nice, really cool atmosphere with outdoor seating. They did not have frozen drinks. The food was tasty but small portions. There is a salsa area that allows you to get your own chips and salsa.

Liked the atmosphere, but I really liked the quick, friendly service. Did not have to wait forever for a glass of water which seems to be the norm other places. Food was fresh. French fries have seasoning on them and are great. Will definitely return.

The food was average. It wasn't horrible but it wasn't fantastic knock you out the park. What really disappointed me was the Margarita. Most Mexican restaurants that you go that have margaritas usually come out with these cups that are way too big. Lol and you're looking at this like how am I going to drink all this and this is the small. One picture is the chips in queso. The other picture is there only size of Margarita.

Great food, great people, great service from T. J. Miller I mean Sammy! I was having a horrible day but then it was made great after a great lunch!

Tacos were good. The flavors are very innovative and the Tuesday specials made it even better. I had the Cantina fish, the Hong Kong Phooey and the Carne Asada tacos. ($6.66)

Very nice place. Great music selections. The food was good. My tacos were just a little smaller than I expected. But good nonetheless. Serve yourself chips and salsa was new to me, and we definitely took advantage, lol. We'll be back at some point. Keep up the good work

Absolutely pathetic amount of shrimp in this $5 taco. There were 3 quarter size, very thin (1/4-to maybe 3/8") shrimp. Very little toppings. The taco over all was small. What a waste of money!

First time here, really nice place. Food was great and so was service. Cold beer and margaritas.

John was amazing! He created us with a smile on his face and went over the types of margaritas they offer. The food is wonderful and came out quick. Love the self-serve chips and salsa option! Would recommend everyone!

I had a fantastic experience here this evening as my first visit in 4 years to this location. The food is delicious and the staff is kind. The place was still hopping at 9pm. I had a wide selection of options for gluten free tacos that were clearly listed. The salsa verde was so good on top of them. I love the selection of margaritas as well!

Bartenders are pleasant and efficient. Great reason to sit at the bar. I hear that folks think the tacos are smaller than normal but I say they are incredibly tasty and filling. I only need two. And coupled with unlimited chips and salsa, a great meal. Lots of tvs running sports that I wish were closed captioned, however, one tv is nonstop Bob Ross for the needed relaxation. Local Cantina is nice place to land any time of day.

Firebird is the best taco you can get there. It’s one of the most unique takes on a taco I’ve ever had. Unlimited chips and salsa are also a huge plus. Bill was $35 for two with tip, no drinks. All in all good experience, fast service, great food.

$2 Taco Tuesdays is now "select" tacos for $2.22 and the only drinks discounted are the margarita and the terrible house beer. Don't bother with the app, they don't have the ability to scan the QR code, and forgot to follow up with my number.

Our server Kennedy was knowledge and pleasant. The manager was on top of things and even gave us chips and salsa to go in the house! Food was excellent.

I wanted to like this place more than I actually did. The food was decent, but I could have used more flavor.

Tacos are okay, not overly flavorful. Service was attentive and friendly. They got one of the orders wrong and it took a while for the correction to come out, despite only 3 tables being in use. Good option for something open later

Had a wonder experience. The atmosphere was warm and relaxing. Our waitresses were all smiles, helpful, and personable. The food was fresh and served fast. The fries have a seasoning on them that is crazy good. The music is spot on too. Added a few new songs to my personal Playlist from there ambient station. I have ate here several times and is always a pleasurable.

Taylor and Sammy were very good and made the experience enjoyable. Good food and one of the best lantern placements of all time.

We like the Local Cantina restaurants... The decor is always unique and cool. The environment is always upbeat. The food is good for what it is - meaning this is a Mexican-themed bar that serves food, not a Mexican restaurant that serves drinks - We go there because it is a fun place. Wifie had the Taco Salad which she liked. I had the Chicken ranch burrito which I enjoyed. Baby Girl had 2 Nashville chicken tacos which were really good. This is a cool place to hang out and the food is good so it is worth a visit...

Service and atmosphere were great. Free chips and salsa. Small indoor area but large patio. Chicken taco was not great but the ranch burrito was better. Ok happy hour until 6 pm.

Finally stopped in after hearing good things from many people. I wss not disappointed. The tacos are really where it's at. Definitely something for everyone. Also got the nachos with checked, and they were really good too. I plan on returning for Taco Tuesday, when tacos are $2 a piece, can't beat that.
