Extraordinary!! Darling, delightful, and delicious from start to finish. It was quite evident that every item that graced our table was made to order moments before it reached us~beyond fresh. Can we talk attention to detail? Look at the presentation, and YES it tasted as good as it looks. Atmosphere was a marvelous mix..somehow the vibe is fancy, but not stuffy. A cut above, yet casually comfortable. The waitstaff was a true team..in our time there, each of them tended to us in one way or another; all professional, approachable, and diligent. This was our first visit, and will most certainly not be our last. An absolute treat!

Enjoyed dinner here for the first time tonight and we were very pleased. We didn't have reservations, and with it being a Saturday night I was surprised we were able to get a table on the patio. The patio seating isn't ideal, because of the small size and the ledge to eat on is small, but it was a nice night so it worked out. The inside looks pretty nice though. My wife had the Shrimp Shorty and I had the Pot Pie. Both were filling and flavorful, so we were very happy with our choices. We were really looking forward to the Cinnamon Roll Apple Pie for dessert, but they said it was unavailable today, which was a huge bummer. Service was great as well. Overall, would highly recommend this place for dinner!

Wow. This place. It is a 5 star unique experience like none I've had! The atmosphere just absolutely fantastic - walls of books with literally your menus bound into random books and tea décor at the table. The staff were extremely friendly. The food - we tried the middle option of Afternoon Teas which gave a fantastic and affordable four course meal (we weren't too hungry so it actually worked well to share). Pick your own tea, a soup or salad (their tomato soup - seriously - winner of the meal and the BEST tomato soup we have EVER had), pick out 5 mini sandwiches (the salmon blew my mind - 2nd favorite thing from the entire meal), and then a scone and dessert. A fantastic experience and delicious enough that I would hands down come back here if I visit again instead of trying another new place like I usually do. Update: I have since revisited and had an amazing experience yet again. The mushroom toast appetizer is AMAZING!

Probably one of the coolest places I've been to eat. The atmosphere is unique, the food is original and so appealing and the drinks are almost magical! The wait staff are so friendly and helpful of it's your first time. Bonus for their creativity with having the menus in books!

Absolutely DELICIOUS! The vegan gnocchi was out of this world, and the burger was perfectly cooked with the most delectable truffle fries. Coupled with the creative, inimitable ambience (and a couple of their specialty cocktails), it’s a fantastic spot for a quick bite, a full meal, or just drinks with friends. Can’t say enough about this gem in Westerville!

Everything was amazing. Every time we go there it is amazing. Possibly the most consistently excellent place I have ver visited. The peppermint chocolate tea dessert was so good. Highly recommend it.

Fantastic little gem with really fun decor and impeccable service. Don't miss the mushroom toast, it was our group's universal favorite. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the desserts, which weren't particularly flavorful although they were quite beautiful.

This is by far one of the cutest destinations in Columbus to get a proper tea experience! I love the attention to details and the food is great! Happy hour menu includes wine, cocktails, and starters.

Amazing food, beautiful atmosphere, and exceptional service make this my very favorite restaurant in the Columbus area. Their afternoon tea is lovely, perfect for an elegant afternoon treat. And it's family friendly! I bring my kids with me most of the time and they have so much fun with the grown-up tea party.

This place is awesome! I went for a high tea with some friends to celebrate my birthday and had a blast! The decorations are nice and the staff was knowledgeable about the teas. The price was reasonable. We stayed for 2 hours and had several pots of tea in addition to our sandwhiches and sweets! Definitely will have to go back!

Stopped by for lunch. Had dinners here before and lunch did not disappoint. Order a cheeseburger without a bun with truffle fries which are seasoned with parmigiana cheese. Delicious burger And crispy fries. My lovely wife had the chicken salad sandwich. It came with a side greens salad. Just as delicious as my burger but in a different way. A bit dry but the Dijon sauce that came with my fries perked it up. We shared both meals. Unique atmosphere and it can be loud with big groups.

Just came in for dinner with my husband & all I can say is WOW! Kat greeted me at the door & sat me immediately. Julia was our server and she was attentive, professional and ready to answer any questions we had about the menu. I had the Kats Cackle cocktail and it was 10/10! We also enjoyed the duck wings, tuna and each had the steak entree. Perfect portions, fantastic quality and such a great price point. We will be back, we haven’t had a dining experience like this in so long. Thank you to everyone who made our date night so special!

The food for restaurant week was okay. I would like to try this place on another night to see what they can offer. The smoked old fashion I can truly say is the best one I have had in this town.

10000/10 across the board! I just got married 10.08.23 and had my rehearsal dinner here: AMAZING! From the top, we were having such trouble finding a location that had a cozy vibe and wasn’t overpriced- literally the manager Kat stepped in and said for this price we will do EVERYTHING. And everything indeed: food, floral arrangements, pumpkins, his and her drinks with full bar (we discussed a cap and it was stuck to), fully staffed, AND COMPLETELY OURS. They closed the restaurant to the public for our event. There were extra touches we didn’t know about everywhere- down to our desserts (they initialed and put our names on the macarons)! We showed up for a tasting and tried tons of delicious food: the chef Desmond is the sweetest and can COOK! The dishes were immaculate. But we built the menu with his help and both he and Kat took time to get to know my husband, my MIL, and I to help make decisions on how the food should be presented and brought around. I mean this was planned from every second and portion, beginning to end. AND the staff is incredible and makes you feel like family. We had some guests with allergies and restrictions- not an issue and everyone was taken care of. The bartenders were basically bombarded by our family all night but they were quick, friendly, and so cool to watch work! The servers are THE BEST and genuinely come around to take care of everyone. Level of hospitality and professionalism that I couldn’t have been happier with for a very large and important family event. We were complimented the whole evening about everything: we went to a tasting and paid the bill- the rest was entirely the hard work of Asterisks staff. We couldn’t be happier or ready to hold something there again! If you need a private party, rehearsal dinner, WEDDING EVEN, please please please PLEASE come check them out!

Went here for the first time on a Friday night. Was very impressed with the atmosphere. Loved the massive bookshelves lining the walls and the chandeliers hanging above. Our service was very good, our waitress answered questions and ensured we had a good experience. As for the food, it was wonderful. I ordered the Asterisk Burger. It came out much quicker than I anticipated and was fresh. The fries were also really great. The flavor and proportions made the price seem a little low for what you're getting! Overall this is a really fun and good restaurant and I'd definitely recommend it if you're in the area.

I had the turkey sandwich and was disappointed. I asked our server when ordering if it was whole meat and not processed but he didnt seem to understand. After trying the sandwich, I asked if he had given me the pork belly sandwich by accident but no, it was just thick slices of processed deli meat. I was kind of surprised because the restaurant comes across as being a little pretentious. I was hungry and I didn't even touch the second half of my sandwich and I almost never let food go to waste. Mind you I'm very daring when it comes to any entree on any menu. I also had the Truffle fries which were too salty and I don't personally care for the use of garlic powder. The coffee however was excellent!

First time visiting - there to celebrate my mother's birthday. It took a while for my group to be greeted (but in their defense they were seating a large group there for a baby shower) so not a huge deal. The service was great - Marvin was very helpful in suggesting items on the afternoon tea menu! Food was tasty as well. Plan on returning.

Was browsing for a restaurant for our anniversary and settled on this cozy spot. The atmosphere was perfect, food was excellent, and service was quick and polite! Being in the industry ourselves we’re generally disappointed with food quality, but it was just as we’d hoped for! Will definitely be returning in the future! Thank you💕

Drinks and food were quite good. Service was great. The only problem was the restaurant was way way to hot. We were all sweating, and the water we kept having to ask for was not even cold. I love the books and the theme of the restaurant. Our server was great. A table of six spent at least $400 there AT LEAST WE SHOULD BE COMFORTABLE.

Happy we got to try the tea here as not many places have high tea! The little sandwiches were delicious. The scones came out warm and soft. Yum. Also like that the desserts are made daily a dn can vary. The atmosphere is cute, eclectic.

Wow! What a great experience! Fantastic food, comfortable and open space, and a wonderful staff! The menu features incredible broths and classic pairings like "pork and beans", but nothing like you are used to. Every dish is elevated with absolute class, cooked to perfection, and explodes with flavor and warmth. The head chef, Jon, was gracious and humble and was kind enough to stop by the table to chat and ensure that everything was lovely! Highly recommend!

What a beautiful place to go and relax, I enjoy my time there, they have a nice menue with diffrent types of teas and little sandwiches, scones, dessert and other options you can try from. They have books you can read while you drink your tea (the books cover the walls so theres a variety of shelves you can browse nearest to you.) With beautiful chandeliers and tea sets decorating the walls, they also have a very large antique bar thats also amazing if tour looking for a drink, the waitress were very friendly and the environment was quite and peaceful. (Whether your dining alone or with somebody else, its a great time.) Will be coming back for sure.

I was here one other time and I'm glad I remembered it. The space it what caught my interest first, with packed bookshelves, crystal-esque(?) chandeliers, and a grand wooden bar it's a beautiful and comfortable place to come and relax. Food recommendations will forever include the parmesan fries and I cannot recommend their cocktails enough!

This is the most unique, quaint place I have ever been to. It was something straight out of the 1920s, from the decor to the drinks to the food. The drink, from the get-go had me going crazy, which is probably why it was called, Megan Me Crazy. It had a spherical shaped ice cube, which I've never seen before, but that was just the beginning. The aroma of vanilla was the 1st thing to hit my nasal passages, but it wasn't really something that hit my tastebuds. What hit my tastebuds was the sweetness of strawberry, the freshness of mint & lime, & the subtle kick of vodka going down my throat. I, honestly, could not decide between the brussel sprouts & the tuna from the starter menu, so I ordered both as my meal. The brussel sprouts were deliciously charred, but still kept their shape without crumbling to pieces or becoming too soft. The salty cheese on top gave it a different bite, texturally, & added the salt component to the dish. Finally, the tuna, was little bits of heat in each part of the dish, the tuna had blackening seasoning, which was salty with spiced seasoning. The homemade kimchee was just that. Spicy Korean cabbage that had more of a kick without killing the palate. The spiciest element, however, was the sauce drizzled on the side of the plate, which, when eaten alone, was a lot, but somehow, when eaten with everything in one bite, wasn't bad at all. I loved the softness of the seared tuna, the smoothness of the sauce, & the crunch of the kimchee when they all came together in one flavorful bite.

My wife and I have been here two times and it has been great each time. My brother and his wife and some other friends live nearby and come here all the time. They swear by the cocktails, and the food keeps them coming back. The setting is charming as most other reviewers have stated. Post COVID they have spaced out the tables so the seating is a little more limited. I got the Brie and bacon burger and it was cooked perfectly. My wife got the chicken sandwich and it was breaded nicely and was very large. Thankfully for me she couldn’t finish it so I got to ;) The Brussels sprouts are very good, and their French fries are addicting. Highly recommended!

👍👍 The whole family loved this place. Only issue I had were the onion rings. They were still doughy and had no flavor, don't get them. However, the burgers were awesome and even the kids said they wanted to come back. The fontana sauce is on another level.....amazing. Get a side of it and dip everythin...
