I'm from Texas and here for a business trip. My Regional VP took the office crew here for lunch. He said it's the best barbecue in town. We walked in and you could smell the meats smoking. They had a huge selection of items. I ordered the two plate special with a side of Mac and cheese. My two meats were the ribs and chicken. Omg. Servings were huge. My breast and wing were enough for two. I got 3 ribs. I made a big mess. It was all delicious and the Texas boy would give them 2 thumbs up!

OMG! 😘 I truly enjoyed my pulled chicken 🐔🍗, fresh cut 🍟 fries and sweet tea 🍵. My brother had the two meat meal of pulled chicken 🍗🐔, BBQ Ribs (Pork), with Mac and cheese 🧀. So delicious, we both devoured our meal so quickly. God is good and to top it all off we shared a slice of chocolate cake 🎂. YES Lord. 😋😅. Our host was so pleasant and warm. If you are looking for great tasting BBQ this is the place to come. I do BBQ for a living in Texas and highly reccomend this spot. The brisket was pull apart tender and juicy with great flavor. The pulled pork was smoked perfectly, the chicken breast was juicy, tender and glazed with the perfect ammount of sauce on the skin with ideal smoke penetration through the meat. The ribs were bite through tender and had a great pull without pulling off the bone (sign of a perfectly cooked rib). Perfectly smoked meats all around!! I tried 3 of the bbq sauces and have to go with the original as my preference. Cornbread was great flavor and moist!! I loved the brisket in the baked beans with the molassas kiss on the beans. The potato salad was flavored great and loved the red potatoes over the russet. The bananna pudding was spot on and the sweet tea was sweetened just right.

Some of the best fried pickles in town. Last night the hubs and I went to City Barbecue and the staff really made us feel welcome and valued. We were there around 7 and the place wasn't crowded when we first arrived. Everything was clean. We split the fried pickle basket and the city sampler. The meats were so delish and the green beans are my personal favorites. The fries were perfect. The pulled pork was a little fatty but that is not their fault, it was deep in the meat.

Nice group behind the counter serving everyone. We came with a loud toddler and two kids, asked for a broom to clean up our big mess and they declined. They picked it up for us. A family of 5 can eat here - with picky eaters - for less than $35. We keep coming back.

City BBQ just rocks , I love the Brisket sandwich and well honestly everything they have. Also added aspects are when I went to sit down and wait for my name to be called for my order the employee nicely brought it to me. That's 5 star service .. City BBQ supports the military and local charity as you can see in the pics. It's just a great place to grab some food! If you find this helpful please mark it and follow for more great reviews.

This was my first time visiting this location and it was most likely my last. The food was very subpar. The macaroni was flavorless and even the fries tasted like there was no seasoning at all. The pulled chicken was good but I asked for barbecue sauce and didn't get any on my sandwich or in the bag.

We love City Barbeque! I've never had anything here I didn't like. We experienced great service and a clean dining room. My favorite is a pulled pork with cole slaw sandwich.

I recently visited City Barbeque and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of their food. The brisket and pulled pork were particularly delicious, and the sides like corn pudding and collards complemented the meal perfectly. I found the barbecue to be some of the best in the area, offering a great combination of taste and value. The staff was friendly, adding to the overall enjoyable experience.

We eat at City BBQ a lot, and generally, it is always very good, however we almost always have a problem with order accuracy. In this case, I had ordered a side of beans, and did not get them. Not aware until I got home, and by then too late. Ribs were very scanty, dry, and just did not look like they normally do. This same store had run out of ribs early on a Friday evening the week before, and we had to eat somewhere else. Pretty expensive for the quality of food we got tonight. Normally do not mind because the food is always good.

I always love stopping into City whenever I get the chance. Today was the perfect day to stop in and get some nice hot comfort food as the weather went sour and got cold and nasty again. The staff were kind and accommodating, the food was great (as always) the fresh brewed ice tea is still one of the best in town and the blues music in the air made for a wonderful experience.

I can honestly say I've never been disappointed here and I eat here all the time. Orders always right, comes out quick, and tastes literally perfect. I give a lot of credit to the employee working takeout most days. He's on it. I genuinely suggest management give him a raise because he makes what would be a decent dining experience, great-- 4 stars if beastmode leaves.

I had to fix this review because the issue with being overcharged has been fixed and all is good on that front. I still didn't get exactly what I paid for but what I did get was delicious and totally hit the spot. Those collard greens are to die for and I wish I could eat those every day.

Store personnel were so pleasant!! Food was excellent! Sides were good except I didn't care for the potato salad but that is just my opinion. It could be good to someone else. Ribs and brisket was absolutely delicious!!

City BBQ is the Carnivore Capital of Columbus. Consistent quality. The staff always seems to take pride and pleasure in their work. Every City BBQ I've been to is excellent...but this Westerville store leads the way in excellence.

Pulled pork sandwich with Texas toast is delicious. Portions are great. The girl at the counter was so sweet and even gave my 10 month old some applesauce while we were ordering.

My first time to City Barbeque it wasn't like I imagined. I thought it was a typical sit down restaurant until I walked into the restaurant. It's clean, the staff were all nice and professional and the food was delicious.

Placed a pickup order to feed 25+ people at 7:00pm and arrived to pick it up 10 mins before scheduled time. Chris had my order out to my car at 7:25, 5 minutes after my arrival and 5 minutes before my scheduled pick up. Excellent service above and beyond 👍

I love City BBQ BUT I especially LOVE this particular location. I live closer to the New Albany one but refuse to go there after experiencing the above and beyond service I received at the Westerville location. Humble, kind individuals work here and want to provide quality, top-notch food. Order your BBQ here!! 🤗

We did take out on Father's Day. They were super busy but got us our order quickly and we're very friendly. We got the party pack. Food was hot and very good especially the brisket.
