Had an awful experience here recently - Initially we were put onto an empty area down by the playground only to find out once we had put up our tents that there was raw sewage leaking at our feet... The owner tried to move us approx 10m to the side which we declined as who wants to be anywhere near sewage?! He attempted to move us further and further away - even outside the campground gates at one point! We eventually just picked a spot and told him that's where we were staying. New years eve night at 10:30pm the owners decided it would be a great idea to let off fireworks in a DOG FRIENDLY campground... Yes you read that right... It absolutely terrified our dog and others around... Not to mention the camp is right in the middle of native forest with kiwis and other native animals inside it! We approached the owners who took it all as a joke and offered to cuddle our dog.. Absolutely disgusted in the lack of service we received at this place and will not be going back. We had booked three sites and only used one but are still awaiting our refund which we were promised too... Even one star is generous in my mind..

Excellent campground. Our host was so helpful and had lots of information. Also has supplies you can purchase. Excellent security..gates, codes and good lighting on paths. Bathroom was great with very clean facilities and good pressure showers. We got to see the beautiful glow worms which were amazing right beside the bush track and easy to access. Woke up to stunning views over native bush with pigeons and tui flying by to the bridge over the valley below. Highly recommend.

The kitchen and bathroom are clean and tidy, you can see small animals walking around in the morning, and the enthusiastic staff. The waterfall in the park is great, and the children also found glow worms at night. It was a very memorable trip and I will go back again.

Wish I could give this 5 stars. Grounds are poorly maintained. Tent sites are mostly just rock and hard to set up on. We booked site 2, it was occupied when we arrived at out scheduled time. We settled at another site. The next day people got sent to our site 3 times. After going back and forth to the office, I'd expect the younger of the two guys there would have know not to send any more people to a clearly occupied site... It would take a lot for me to camp here again... I expected better. The RV sites are beautiful and the services area are in good shape. Please sort out the non powered tent sites... it has so much potential!

This place was phenomenal. So basic really, but absolutely perfect. Amazing sites including covered sites available. Great showers, good security and the setting is outstanding. I wish we could have stayed longer and gone on the glow worm and Waterfall walks! But we will be back ❤️

Really nice, secluded campsite in the rainforest surrounded by nature on Arthur’s Pass. The kitchen/dining/common area is really nice and homely with plenty of space to cook, eat and relax. Bathrooms were also spotless and modern. We were expecting heavy rain so decided to book the slightly more expensive ‘undercover’ site to park up our small sleeper van, but this area seemed a bit neglected compared to the rest of the park and we would probably just book one of the normal sites in future. Would give 4.5 stars if I could as everything else was really good.

Loved this place. The kitchen & toilets were so clean. There is a waterfall next to the holiday park say 10 mins walk. Absolutely gorgeous. Worth the stay!!

Great quality and well cleaned facilities in an exceptional location- glow worm walks are nice and still within reach if you’ve got little kids. Waterfall walk is a nice little hike, probably suggest bigger kids only for that one, a bit too precarious if you end up needing to carry someone!

That’s hard for me to find a full service campervan site at a good location, but this is definitely a good choice with top facilities among a stunning alpine view. More importantly I did found glow worms myself with the manual map from the reception. 100 out 100 experience!

The host lady was very friendly and informative. All the facilities were super clean and tidy. You can have a short walk to the waterfall (it was pretty big) from this holiday park. And at night time there are loads of glow worms in the forest right next to the park.. highly recommend!!

Two of us camped here. What a beautiful and special place!! The new owners were LOVELY. The glow worms were SO COOL. The layout of the grounds is so open and very very beautiful. The stars at night were heavenly. The bathroom and kitchen facilities were so clean and easy to use. It was a highlight experience among holiday parks. Can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend.

This place is set in beautiful surroundings with native trees, birds, glowworm dells and walks to a waterfall and has an amazing view from the kitchen dining room. Had an undercover tent site out of the weather. Great facilities and very fruendly hosts. Highly recommended

Very nice cozy cabins with great facilities including a large lounge and kitchen area with a fireplace for when it's cold. The people were super friendly and helpful and there is a nice playground and a water fall a short walk away and the gloweorms at night were also stunning. Very much recommend and I'll be back next time I'm in the area.

We loved this place so much that we changed our itinerary to stay again on our way back through. We had a powered site in a campervan. Everything was amazing, from the clean warm, showers to the beautiful river, waterfall and walks to the glow worms at night. Hope we can come back again some day!

ncredible experience, I can say it was one of the best I've ever stayed at, the contact with nature made me even more excited to be able to return. I recommend it if you want to take a vacation in a quiet and calm place to relax.

Lovely campground, surrounded by mountains and rain forest. Very clean and well maintained facilities. The staff is welcoming and friendly, and gives good advices about activities in the area. Beautiful waterfall at just 20mn walking distance, and glow worms all around the campground at night! Definitely worth it!

This was our first stop on a 2 week campervan trip. The staff here were great, and the location is awesome! We did try to find glow worms but were unsuccessful. The facilities were clean and tidy.

Excellent site. Very well cared for beautiful fauna and flora. Saw and heard Tui and Bell birds. Great facilities and very clean. Highly recommended.

The hospitality was below average; the host was not friendly, took another call on entry in between. The hiking trails outside the campsite are not or hardly accessible to people who are not experienced hikers. Don't make fun of your surroundings if you're incapable of being kind yourself! We left after 1 night even though we had booked for 2 nights.

Our stay were very pleasant. The kitchen was clean and well equipped, toilet was clean. The location? It was beyond my expectation. Though it was rainy but the clouds around the rainforest and in surrounding mountains were spectacular. The entry was bit confusing though. But overall a very neat and crisp experience for us.

All of the facilities were very clean and well looked after, we stayed in the moa cabin and have no complaints everything was great. The customer service was also excellent with the guy who served us giving advice on when and where to look for glowworms and the walks around the property, even giving us red cellophane for when we went to view glowworms so the torch lights weren't too bright.

What a great place!! The host was friendly and really helpful. The view is stunning. The room either the kitchen, dining, lounge was great. We lit the fire and thoroughly enjoyed the tranquility. Great showers. We went on a night walk in the pouring rain to show the kids the glow worms. Awesome place!

Probably one of my favourite camp grounds, owners are really nice. Lovely walks and the glow worms are great. The night sky views are amazing, i think the views are better than Tekapo. Perfect stop before starting Aurthers pass.
