    The waiting time!!! Takes almost an hr even longer for appointments almost every time! The small lady at the reception is very sweet and helpful! Some of the conversation that come from the desk area should be held else where. If there's an issue with how things are being done you should discuss when clients are not at window or lobby is filled... Your awesome tiny lady with white nails!

    This place has changed, all the good employees are gone. A new NP was hired and she is rude. She came right in my room and lied to my face about herself and Dr.Lee She claimed they don't give out a medication that I have received from them before, she told me I was basically not in need of what I wanted help with. What she didn't know was I am a nurse and fully aware of what I was there for and what can and should be done. They don't answer the phones anymore and they are very slow. I'm not sure what happen but I now will be looking for a different medical home. I see why the reviews are what they are.

    Dr. Lyana is wonderful!! But since the new people took over the customer service is very bad. I tried calling all day to make an appointment to be seen since I am very sick and each time I called the girl that answered said she had 3 callers in front of me and left me there for 20 or more min. Then she answered and was hanging up on me. I have been calling since 9 am and this was a repeated. When shr did answered at 12 pm she said there were no appointment to give me. I asked for my doctor to call me and she said yhe new people that took over will not let her call me . I told her I might have to find another doctor now and her response was OK. SMH wow horrible service horrible so sad this was a great doctor's office!!!

    Used to be able to get in to see the doctor all the time, Modini C. Liyanage M.D, but now you're lucky if you see an intern and you have somebody health problems they won't help at all then they think you're crazy then you think you need a psychiatrist when you're just trying to get answers they treat you like your crazy now and every time you go it's a different intern a different doctor and I never get to see my doctor, this Clinic I'm finding a new doctor!

    Im a nurse. I have been a patient of Dr. Liyanage since 2005. I have loved her and her staff until the new company took over. I had to call 16 times over a 2 day period just to get an appointment. In the past, I would call and just arrange with office staff to pick up the papers that this time they insisted I needed an appointment for. The staff was totally unprofessional. They called me honey, darling, sweetheart instead of my name. Hung up on me, and left me on hold for over an hour prior to answering and telling me I am not a patient there. As I stated, I've been a patient since 2005. I love Dr. Li or I would never come back! The service was horrible and unprofessional. Staff was not knowledgeable or didn't seem to care how efficient and professionally Dr. has always ran her business. The new staff were rude to doctor and PA while I was waiting for above mentioned paperwork! Dr. is highly respected in this community and it very much bothered me to see her staff disrespect not only her but her loyal patrons as well! Call way in advance if you need refills now and expect a long wait to get an appointment! There will also be new paperwork to sign from new company so arrive early! Good luck! You'll need it!

    The quality of this Dr. office has gone down hill completely. I’m 27 and I’ve been going here since I was 15. I am done. I had 2 appointments and each day I waited over an hour to see a doctor. The receptionists are rude and short with patients. They don’t give you an update on wait times and in general are not pleasant . The doctors seem understaffed and visits are often rushed. I needed blood work done (which was discussed previously) I came in to request for labs THAT Dr. Ruma( excuse my spelling) said I needed. Next thing you know they are saying “you need an appointment” FOR BLOOD WORK?? Okay maybe a follow up visit after blood work. But why charge me just so I can ask for the blood work—that you already said I needed?? Feels like they just want to charge your insurance and get a co-pay They have also had some serious phone issues for months now and it has not been corrected. I NO longer recommend this place. DNR

    Horrible place, stay away. My dad goes here and we’ve been trying to call them for the past week for his medication refill, with no answer.. despite leaving multiple voicemails.

    My family and I have been going to Wayne Medical Center for over a decade. It used to be a very pleasant experience with helpful staff. But recently the management has changed and there’s a significant difference. It’s next to impossible to get a hold of Dr. Liyanage now, where before I would get an answer for any questions I had or a call back from the doctor within the same day. I have mentioned this to Dr during one of my visits and I was told that she was never notified that I even called for her. I’m giving 3 stars because I still really like Dr. Liyanage but the recent experiences has made me reconsider going there and consider changing my PCP. Hopefully they will do something about this because I would very much like to keep going to see Dr. Liyanage.

    I have been a patient of Doctor Li for 20 years , she’s the best doctor ! HOWEVER her front desk employees are rude ! I have never dealt with the rudeness they gave in a healthcare environment , I myself as a nurse would never allow staff to treat incoming patients with the rudeness they gave! I’m looking for a new primary care provider as I write this !

    Dr. Li has been my primary care doctor for over 10 years now. I absolutely loved her and her staff. The new staff has taken over now, and waiting for almost an hour to be seen for an appointment is ridiculous. It saddens me that I have to find another primary care doctor.

    I have no problem with the doctors or the care I have received from them, with that being said there front desk people are sub-par they never answer the phone and all you here is a recorded message when you have called at a time when they are open. This morning I called 22 times on my cellphone and over 25 times on my house phone, starting at 10:16 this morning I'm done with this I will being over to the office that is across the street from my home to address my concerns , again I have no problem with the doctors but there front desk staff are just horrible and this is so sad doctor liyanage is a very good doctor and her staff needs to do better.

    Been going here for years. Love the doctors here. Modini liyange & Dr. Lee are awesome gets you in & out fast. Takes great care of you. No appointment that's fine you can just walk-in!! Does FMLA, x-rays, & connected to Beaumont

    I've been going here for 12 years and now I have to find a new primary because they can't even answer the phone so I can make an appointment. I've called so many times. I've left messages. It makes me wonder if they're even open. The service is awful.

    Issues that my wife has encountered since making Dr. Modanni of Wayne Medical Center her PCP: Doctor tries do dissuade patients from seeing specialist. Medical assistants are rude. They are more accessible than Dr. Modanni. Relutant to prescribe certain medications because of risk of abuse. Who are they to decide that when you have no history of medicinal abuse. Lastly the phone ring and rings without anyone answering. If they do answer, you run the risk of waiting on hold and them not getting back with you. When confronted with these issues in person, you are met with indifference. Go elsewhere. Not the place to come to when you are in need of help of any degree.

    Was just made aware today that Dr. Liyange retired and Dr. Rema moved offices. Very upsetting. I been going here since I been 13 years old. I am now 21. The new people who took over are awful! They never answer their phone. Front desk is very rude.

    Slow to get you in, never answer phones excuse new phone system went on for months, wait time in waiting room 45 min. In room 45 min to a hour. Been left sitting in room for over an hour. Biggest mistake is Sonya leaving, poor services and knowledge of what is going on is bad.

    I have been going to see Dr. Liyanage since 2004. I have referred many friends and family to her because I always had a great experience. But lately my experience has been very poor. Long waits in the waiting room, poor communication, not answering the phone, not returning phone calls, mean front desk staff, not being able to contact the doctor for questions to name a few. Only reason I’m still going here is because Dr. Liyanage has been great to me for such a long time. But if they don’t change how they manage around there, I will have to go to a different office. So hopefully they will look at these reviews and do something about it.

    I went to see Dr. Liyanage because she’s been my wife’s PCP for a long time and she had nothing but nice things to say about the doctor and the clinic. When I initially started going there I did have a good experience. However I have been calling to try to get an appointment or at least a medication refill. I haven’t gotten a call back even after leaving numerous messages. I always call during business hours but they never answer the phone. The last time I went to the office, the front desk staff was abrasive and rude. I had to wait for over an hour in the waiting room as well.

    I'm reviewing to let people know DR LIYANAGE RETIRED AND TOLD NO ONE. She was already an uncaring, unprofessional person, but this is unacceptable behavior. I found this out by trying to get a walk-in today only to be told by a nurse that she was gone. She didn't even tell her own staff. She sold the business to Beaumont, there's no doctor on staff anymore, and they have no idea when they're gonna get one. Good luck if she was your primary GP!
