I took my family to eat there a couple weeks ago. The service and the food were disappointing compared to a couple years back. We wanted beef tacos (crunchy), we ended up changing them to chicken (I do not think beef tacos should be made from ground beef at a Mexican restaurant, and they used to have shredded beef tacos, but not anymore) The tacos were OK although the chicken had a weird flavored seasoning. We ordered two dinners of crunchy tacos. I also ordered a gordita filled with chicharron prensado. The gordita was unremarkable, they used to make them AMAZING with real nixtamal masa, now the one I ordered was tiny and made of different corn flour masa (or maybe a mixture of corn with wheat flour? I do not know) and the chicharron filling was scarce, I expected better for a $4 single gordita. On the tacos dinner, the beans were actually very good, so no complaints there, but the rice was mushy. On the service side, the waitress was nice, and she may just need a little bit of coaching. When we arrived and during our dinner time there was only one table with two people eating, and we were the second table of 2 adults and one toddler. I point this out to note that the restaurant area was pretty empty, so it is not like the waitress had her hands full. We placed our order, and when it arrived, I asked for some lemons (lemons, or limes, or key limes, I would be happy with anything). I am Mexican, so most of us put lemon juice on our crunchy tacos, and definitively on anything with chicharron (like the gordita I ordered). The waitress left and in the meantime another customer arrived to place an order at the window. My food was getting cold, I was waiting for the lemons of course hahaha, and instead of bringing me the lemons she proceeds to take the window order from this newly arrived customer, who did not know what he wanted to order so it was taking a while. My husband got up and went to ask for the lemons to which she responded I will bring them later. My husband said, please give them to me now if you don’t mind, our food is getting cold. He came back to the table with the lemons. After we ate we got the bill, and to my surprise I got charged for the lemons! I don’t remember if the charge was $1 or $1.50. I was not expecting that from a Mexican restaurant. I was not told the lemons were going to be an extra charge. On top of that, the lemons were old, already cut with the discoloration at the edge when cut lemons get old (see picture here). They also include the tip on the bill, which I understand it is customary when there is a party of 6-8 or more people, but we were only 2 adults and one toddler, so I do not understand why the tip is pre-included in the total of the bill already (we always tip ~20% and my husband was going to tip on top of the final bill until he realized the tip was already included which they did not tell us when we got the bill). Anyway, enough of the restaurant. The grocery store is another story. I love that store and the products they have on the shelves, I love to see that they have succeeded for so many years, I used to go way more often when I lived nearby that store, and I have great memories of going there looking for those ingredients needed for my Mexican meals. I hope they do something to fix the food from the restaurant because I would love to go back.

I love their chips and salsa. I usually buy the fajita's meat n take it home to cook myself. I also like to order carry out but they always seem to mess up the order or forget something.

Finally found an authentic Mexican restaurant. They have all types of tacos, even Lingua beef tongue, don't question it just try it. Everything was perfect, service, food fantastic. The definition of a tucked away good spot.

Loved the Torta cubana. That sandwich is huge. They will be charging you the tip already in the bill. Soo read and headsup. Everything else was great.

I was attempting to find good (Authentic) Mexican Food in Westland, I googled and ended up at this tasty taco stand inside of a Mexican carnicería. The food did not disappoint, the service was above average , and the prices are good too. I tried enchiladas with red sauce and chicken delicious, and a torta de carne asada 🍖. Me gustó mucho y voy a volver. Garcias a los dueños.

Love this place, other options nearby just don’t compare. The staff remember me and give me extra of the salsa I like. Thank you to all the hard workers here! Truly exceptional

Food was fantastic!!! Tacos, Quesadillas, Enchiladas (very spicy). However, be careful Extras charges. -THEY AUTOMATICALLY ADD THE TIP TO THE BILL. IT'S ON THE MENU. Seriously. I always leave a 22% and the server lost out. -LIMES WERE AN EXTRA $1.49 One girl working makes it difficult to get prompt service. I'll probably be back, but it won't be my first choice in the future.

Ordered for the first time here this evening and I was very pleased with both the quality/taste and the size of the Al pastor torta that I ordered. I was hungry and ordered a taco on the side(they were out of the tamale I had wanted instead) and was only able to finish half of this sandwich. The bread was light and held the sandwich together well. The fillings flavorful and melded nicely. I tried both the hot and mild sauce/salsas and I would say I prefer the mild over the hot as the hot had too much of a smoky flavor(and it made me sneeze). I will definitely go back and try a different torta next time. I would recommend Dos Hermanos to those looking for some tasty Mexican and searching that place that gives you a good bang for your buck. Parking lot is in the back of the building located off street that runs perpendicular to Ford Rd. Being that it’s is located in the back of the building they could use a little more overhead lighting to make the parking lot more lit and welcoming.

I always find latino ingredients, not just from Mexico, but from diferent Latino countries like Colombia, Perú, Venezuela. It is a litlle great store with good different things, not just groceries, but pinatas, sweets, meats with latino style cuts like chicharrones, home made tamales from Mexico, cheeses, laundry detergents, etc and if you are hungry they have a little restaurant area of Mexican food, taste pretty good, I recommend this place.

Got carry out from the restaurant. Food was ok - nothing spectacular. Meals Dont come with chips / salsa which is odd. And Items were missing in the order. They charged more than the price listed on the menu.

Couldn’t tell ya if it’s good or not since the hours are wrong. Drove here at 6pm on a Sunday only to find this paper sign taped to the wall… Update your hours online!

Used to be a friendly part of Mexico where you can shop on Mexican supplies, but there was a ownership change. They improve the looking With cleaner racks and stuff, but some staff didn’t want to speak in Spanish or they didn’t want it. Hopefully they can improve this portion. This doesn’t apply to the cashier, she was kind and didn’t have a bad attitude.

So happy to have found this place! We moved here from Oklahoma. It was very easy to find good authentic Mexican food there but not so much in Michigan. (Does everyone here prefer bland food?) My meal had a nice depth of flavor from the spices used and I am looking forward to trying many more dishes as well as offerings from the market. It tasted so good…I don’t even care that I didn’t get exactly what I ordered.

This place is a gem. You can do your grocery shopping here or sit in the restaurant and enjoy some of the BEST Mexican food around. Their pork tamales are amazing. The staff is great...friendly and helpful.

Years ago, I decided to stop coming here because i found a part of a stainless steel sponge in my food. But I decided it has been years, so why not give it a second chance. Soooo the positive! there are vegetarian options (not too many places have that). However, it was okay. Like flavor came from the sour cream instead of the spices. Downside, which was pretty big for me. They never said the tip was added. It was an automatic gratuity, which means I double tipped. At this point, it's not about the money but the principle of communication. Not everyone skips out on tipping. Some people actually tip very well. I won't be going back.

I love coming here! Always gets immediately and seated quickly. The food takes time, but it is definitely worth the wait! Everything is delicious. My favorite is the rice!! This day, I had the Cubana for the first time. It was way better than I expected, full of flavor!

This place used to be good. Now it is not. Changing my 5 star review to this. Watch out because they double charge tips too. I am ashamed that I talked this restaurant up to my friends and was disappointed when we visited.

Awesome food and service. Asked for a recommendation for a veggie chimichanga and they made one for me with beans, grilled bell peppers and onions inside. After tasting it, I told them they should add that to the menu. It was delicious!!! Very filling and tasty. I'll certainly order that again.

Best tacos in town. What it lacks in atmosphere, it more than makes up for in taste. Their salsas are all delicious. The mild is a standard in our house, but the avocado salsa is fantastic too.
