I
took
my
family
to
eat
there
a
couple
weeks
ago.
The
service
and
the
food
were
disappointing
compared
to
a
couple
years
back.
We
wanted
beef
tacos
(crunchy),
we
ended
up
changing
them
to
chicken
(I
do
not
think
beef
tacos
should
be
made
from
ground
beef
at
a
Mexican
restaurant,
and
they
used
to
have
shredded
beef
tacos,
but
not
anymore)
The
tacos
were
OK
although
the
chicken
had
a
weird
flavored
seasoning.
We
ordered
two
dinners
of
crunchy
tacos.
I
also
ordered
a
gordita
filled
with
chicharron
prensado.
The
gordita
was
unremarkable,
they
used
to
make
them
AMAZING
with
real
nixtamal
masa,
now
the
one
I
ordered
was
tiny
and
made
of
different
corn
flour
masa
(or
maybe
a
mixture
of
corn
with
wheat
flour?
I
do
not
know)
and
the
chicharron
filling
was
scarce,
I
expected
better
for
a
$4
single
gordita.
On
the
tacos
dinner,
the
beans
were
actually
very
good,
so
no
complaints
there,
but
the
rice
was
mushy.
On
the
service
side,
the
waitress
was
nice,
and
she
may
just
need
a
little
bit
of
coaching.
When
we
arrived
and
during
our
dinner
time
there
was
only
one
table
with
two
people
eating,
and
we
were
the
second
table
of
2
adults
and
one
toddler.
I
point
this
out
to
note
that
the
restaurant
area
was
pretty
empty,
so
it
is
not
like
the
waitress
had
her
hands
full.
We
placed
our
order,
and
when
it
arrived,
I
asked
for
some
lemons
(lemons,
or
limes,
or
key
limes,
I
would
be
happy
with
anything).
I
am
Mexican,
so
most
of
us
put
lemon
juice
on
our
crunchy
tacos,
and
definitively
on
anything
with
chicharron
(like
the
gordita
I
ordered).
The
waitress
left
and
in
the
meantime
another
customer
arrived
to
place
an
order
at
the
window.
My
food
was
getting
cold,
I
was
waiting
for
the
lemons
of
course
hahaha,
and
instead
of
bringing
me
the
lemons
she
proceeds
to
take
the
window
order
from
this
newly
arrived
customer,
who
did
not
know
what
he
wanted
to
order
so
it
was
taking
a
while.
My
husband
got
up
and
went
to
ask
for
the
lemons
to
which
she
responded
I
will
bring
them
later.
My
husband
said,
please
give
them
to
me
now
if
you
don’t
mind,
our
food
is
getting
cold.
He
came
back
to
the
table
with
the
lemons.
After
we
ate
we
got
the
bill,
and
to
my
surprise
I
got
charged
for
the
lemons!
I
don’t
remember
if
the
charge
was
$1
or
$1.50.
I
was
not
expecting
that
from
a
Mexican
restaurant.
I
was
not
told
the
lemons
were
going
to
be
an
extra
charge.
On
top
of
that,
the
lemons
were
old,
already
cut
with
the
discoloration
at
the
edge
when
cut
lemons
get
old
(see
picture
here).
They
also
include
the
tip
on
the
bill,
which
I
understand
it
is
customary
when
there
is
a
party
of
6-8
or
more
people,
but
we
were
only
2
adults
and
one
toddler,
so
I
do
not
understand
why
the
tip
is
pre-included
in
the
total
of
the
bill
already
(we
always
tip
~20%
and
my
husband
was
going
to
tip
on
top
of
the
final
bill
until
he
realized
the
tip
was
already
included
which
they
did
not
tell
us
when
we
got
the
bill).
Anyway,
enough
of
the
restaurant.
The
grocery
store
is
another
story.
I
love
that
store
and
the
products
they
have
on
the
shelves,
I
love
to
see
that
they
have
succeeded
for
so
many
years,
I
used
to
go
way
more
often
when
I
lived
nearby
that
store,
and
I
have
great
memories
of
going
there
looking
for
those
ingredients
needed
for
my
Mexican
meals.
I
hope
they
do
something
to
fix
the
food
from
the
restaurant
because
I
would
love
to
go
back.
