Wow!! The food here was delicious!! The Dim Sum was 100% perfect. We also purchased the lobster plate where they ask you how many lbs you are wanting, they go look for a live lobster in the tank that is around the size you want, and then cook it up and serve it to you with noodles, soooo good!! Expect there to always be a wait, we waited for about 30 minutes on a Saturday afternoon. Totally worth the wait. 5 stars!!

One of my friends has been talking about going out for dim sum for a long time. My wife and I went with her and her boyfriend to Seafood Cove 2 per her recommendation. My friend ordered, and then the carts came to our table. We got siu mai, har gow, soup dumplings, steamed bbq pork buns, baked bbq pork buns, shrimp noodle rolls, fried shrimp rolls, egg and turnip cakes, and mini egg tarts. The food came out quickly, and it was delicious. The staff were courteous. I always love family-style restaurants. It would definitely be worth a return trip.

Came on a Sunday around noon. They are on the second floor, you can see everyone waiting on the balcony in front. Parking lot is large but very busy on weekends. Added our name using a tablet to the Yelp waitlist. We were 44th in line. Took about an hour and a half. Once we sat down they will take any orders that aren’t on the dim sum menu. We ordered salt and pepper tofu and salt and pepper fish. Don’t recommend either of those. All the dim sum dishes were good though. They also have ice cream available from Churnt creamery but we were too full. Gave it 5 stars because one person noticed we didn’t hardly eat any of the fish and didn’t want a box. He took that off the bill. The fish was battered like American fish and chips and not too much flavor.

Very nice place located upstairs in the plaza. The food was excellent, service was great, and the place is very open and spacious inside. Set for dim sum style meals in the first half of the day, and dinner after 2 pm. We would come back to dine again here. Maybe try the dim sum next time.

We have been there about several times. The prices are a little bit higher but okay, and the foods are good. However, we learned how much they are uneducated with bad services. Based on our story below. June 24th, 2023. I was there with my wife and parents in law. We faced two different horrible things that happened in the same place. 1. There were very rude and annoying people there for an entire time, manager or worker doing nothing. They were standing up right next to us and kicking our chair. They said it was just celebrating, even their table is already cleaned up, and the next guest was seated. We told our feelings to the manager, but they didn't do anything. We and many other keep telling them about it, and finally they respond. We already lost our feelings to eat I there. We took the food with the Togo box, then ate it at home. And now, the next things have happened. 2. They said they are served food that cooked based on weight of ingredients. I think stone is much heavier than clam. We told them about this to Seafood Cove 2, but the answer wes that I was lying. However, we have pictures when we get food with rock. I don't think I will visit this place anymore.

The BEST Kung Pao Chicken in the county! Their Dim Sum is most definitely worth the wait, so be patient..as they're usually is a line. Great atmosphere and a staff that makes you feel at home! I love this place. One of my Top 5 Favorite restaurants in the nation!

We've been to this place before, but this time we had to write a review. This place was not like it used to be. They did improve the waitlist experience with the Yelp Waitlist. The waitlist quoted us with 60-70 minutes wait time. I wish we could add our name to the waitlist remotely. The food was okay. We ordered the normal dim sum like we usually do. I ordered the shrimp dumplings, pork soup dumplings, shrimp rice rolls, beef rice rolls, Chinese broccoli's, clams with black bean sauce, baked pork buns, and pork bones. My favorite is the clams with black bean sauce. The rice rolls looked very soggy and was sitting out their for a long time. The rest of the dumplings was average to other Chinese restaurants. The restaurant was kind of dirty, for example, the tea pot must have been used by prior customers and they just filled the pot with water and handed it to us, but the service was fast. Everything came out at a timely manner. I would come back for a quick dim sum fix and had spare time to wait in my car for an hour.

I grew up eating at this place! One of the best Dim Sum restaurants you can find in OC. I was thoroughly pleased with my visit to this dim sum establishment! The atmosphere upon entering was welcoming and the service from the staff proved exceptionally attentive. The menu featured a delightful selection of classic, and delicious dim sum choices. Every dish was a nice of taste and well-prepared. Undoubtedly, this restaurant has become my preferred destination for a satisfying dim sum cravings.

Dim sum is great, good flavor and freshly made to order. This is a busy place, so customer service is the best I've ever witnessed. Tips are so welcomed, so tip the waiters and food servers. They appreciate the generosity.

This place has the best dim sum in orange county. I love the shrimp dumplings so much. They have pretty good fresh juice drinks. It’s popular and busy. Be prepared to wait a long time on the weekends. The best time is to go early on a weekday if you can. Staff is friendly and food is ready super fast even though there are no carts anymore.

Pretty decent dim sum for the price! Not fancy but not subpar. Fresh and came out quickly. There’s stairs leading up but also an elevator. Friendly service.

If you live or visit socal, this is the place to go for some good dim sum at a reasonable price. Plenty of parking and it’s safe. We come here often and they always have our favors served hot and fast. Its also located in the heart of little Saigon which is an unique experience all in its own. Be prepared to be welcomed with friendly staff and fast service. There’s a bit of a wait but so are great places to eat.

Came here on a weekend for dim sum. Expect a wait and to be added to the waitlist. Luckily it was only 30 minutes. The dim sum here is good and consistent over all these years. Servers are nice are helpful.

We don’t mind it’s Expensive, but the service is just simply bad!!! The waiter was spilling tea everywhere. The whole restaurant looks old and filthy. Some dishes taste ok. Some just way off!

This is a good place, especially if you are used to the standard procedures of a dim sum place. It is a very busy restaurant, which can be seen with staff and sometimes the quality of food. I have a few favorites such as chicken feet, turnip cake, and sticky rice that really meets the standard of the dim sum I would back in Asia. However, personal favorites such as har how and siu mai fell short of expectation. Overall, it is a good place to go to when craving dim sum.

Amazing seafood here! We thought we were going to have Cantonese food but ran into Vietnamese seafood. Everything was beyond our expeditions. The curry lobster was mild spicy to me, mingled well the lobster taste and the richness from curry. It went well with rice and I ended up ordering a second bowl of rice. It reminded us of the taste of the cuisines of Southeast Asia. We also enjoyed the crunchiness of their fried calamari.

Ordered Black pepper lobster. It was amazing. Even though we went almost like closing time. They were very welcoming and provided good service. Also ordered seafood egg noodles- it was okay. Lobster are very fresh and they service based on the weight we choose. The smallest lobster we got was 2 .8 lbs almost and total price of the dish was approx $70. It was good try.

There’s always a long line at this location, one needs to sign in using the tablet in front of the main door. They will text you a link to check on the status to show where you’re in the line. They don’t have carts for dim sum any more , instead you order from menu, excepts for drink and dessert carts.

Seafood Cove 2 is my go-to spot for dim sum! This place always delivers on flavor and authenticity. Though it's often crowded and parking can be difficult to find, the delicious and affordable dishes are well worth the effort. Located on the second floor and across the street from Asian Garden Mall, it's a convenient spot for anyone in the area. My favorite dish is the rice paper with shrimp - it's always fresh and bursting with flavor. If you're in the mood for dim sum, Seafood Cove 2 is definitely worth a visit.

The food is terrible. What they can fry, they fried. It’s a fast easy way to cook a lot of food instead of steaming. But it’s all greasy and of course the oil is rarely fresh. Would pass this place.

Been here for years. Just visited lunasia a few days ago, and yeah…seafood cove is still better. Service is better, right away as you seat there’s already a hot pot of tea and the condiments ready with no extra charge. Flavor and quality is as it was since high school days.

I used to like this place because of the food. I don't know if it's just me, but the food quality has gone down. Maybe it's also the reason why there's not a lot of people coming. Normally, we would wait at least 45 mins to get seated. This time, the table was ready in 10 mins. This place has gotten expensive, too! We got 2 bowls of rice, har gow, pork bun, chicken feet, and for 2 people we ended up paying $65. Parking is always a hassle, not enough slots for the establishment. Service is fast, there is a language barrier with some of the people that deliver your order. It might be time to go find a different place to eat dim sum on the weekends.

Very pleasing experience! One of the best Peking duck in my books; skin is crispy and very meaty! The seafood crispy fried noodle and the fish maw with crabmeat/abalone were sumptuous and very tasty!
