Nice stand alone authentic seafood Mexican restaurant. We tried the sizzling dishes and the seafood plates. All were good. Virgin cocktails are delicious. Prices are reasonable. Portions are huge

Definitely Good Mexican Seafood everything taste very fresh, the atmosphere and service was great.

Finally decided to stop by and try this place. I give it 5+ stars! Hub and I stàrted with oysters topped with shrimp ceviche. I've had and loved these dishes separately, but together? So freakin amazing with hit sauce and lime. I was gonna have the shrimp ceviche tostadas, but since the appetizer, we decided on a couple of taco plates to share. 3 asada tacos and a taco combo plate. The combo plate was missing one type (which I'd not heard of, so ain't no thang). But there were seafood empanadas (shrimp, something and cheese), then some other tacos with creamy seafood, grilled on handmade corn tortillas. Plus, the sauces and salsas that go with each dish! Oh my land, what a party in your mouth! The service is better than perfect. Our waitress was on us every time she came outside. We're gonna make this a monthly thing. I can't wait to try their siete mares!

Horrible ceviche. The shrimp was raw!! I could not eat it, throw it away!! I called them back and they did not even pick up the phone!! Do not recommend this place! If you see it from the picture, the shrimp is still gray/raw!!

Usually not into one star reviews, but this place absolutely deserves it. Starting with the weird policy of paying upfront for the order,even if you dine in..Even that doesn't matter much, but the one star mostly goes to the molcajete ranchero,which was cold.The famous dish which is served boiling hot in a hot stone bowl,came totally cold,with the pieces of meat prepared who knows when(just warmed up probably)..On a top of that they changed me 2.15$ for the additional corn tortillas(3 pcs)..It's actually pretty understandable why they charge you upfront,coz noone would pay for the old and tastless food they prepare here..Overpriced too..For the cold and tasteless molcajete ranchero, they will charge you roughly 34$..Doesn't surprise me why i was the only customer there..

Horrible place. The staff is demoralized. Most of them are immigrants and the owner does not pay on time and often not at all. Since they are immigrants they have no choice but to loan him their money and work for free. Don't support this restaurant, if you do, tip in cash and put in the waiters pocket when management is not looking.

First time at Malta. It was clean. There was only one other table occupied. My husband ordered agua chiles, and I ordered the tacos with empanadas (2 gobernador, 2 marlin, and 2 shrimp empanadas). My husband loved his plate. My tacos were big. I only ended up eating one marlin taco, an empanada, and the salad. The sauce that came with my plate was delicious. I have leftovers for tomorrow. The server was sweet, not pushy, but did check on us. By the time we left, 3 hours later, the restaurant was full with a wait. Highly recommended.

They have great fish, marlin, and gobernador tacos! Staff is always kind and welcoming. Service is always quick. On nights with a dj and karaoke it's fun and poppin. Sometimes I get a late night craving for tacos and I love that they're open til midnight on wknds.

The food was amazing 👏 and the waitress was so patient with us. We went to celebrate a birthday so it was a party of 12 people.

The fish ceviche is one of the reasons I always wanted to come here ...but they changed the way it was made and is not good for me anymore! It's runny and taste sweet. They must of changed chefs 😞

Good sea food for the location it’s in. I love seafood and it’s hard to find a good place around but this place it’s ok, “hits the spot”. Had the Coctel de camarón, Langostinos(prawns), tostadas de ceviche de pescado(fish) and shrimp empanadas. 4 star just for the main reason that it does not meet flavor profile as other competitors and 100% authentic seafood.

Food is ok, there was a girl that was very rude she would not answer when we asked something and she looked like she was mad, if someone made her mad she should not take it out on other people she is there to help. On the other hand there was another girl that was very nice and attentive.

Bomb fresh seafood! Excellent governado tacos. Excellent cocktail! Great ceviche! The best service, super friendly and fast. Eva is an awesome waitress and everyone else is also very friendly and helpful!

Called before we came to see if they have air conditioning. They lied and said yes. Drove 35 min. To go try it. It was hot as hell. Bees swarming inside the dining area. Horrible service. Nothing that is shown in pictures is on the buffet menu. Horrible! We ended up asking for a refund and leaving!

Yesterday I came here with my friend and he asked for fish and his fish was not cooked still had blood. And it didn’t have good taste that we told the waitress that it was not cooked and we weren’t going to eat or so he has tacos it was ok. So I had ceviche de mariscos I didn’t like how it tasted I had to add salt hot sauce and it still didn’t taste good. This was the second time going there and the first time I had gone there it had a different name. I don’t know what happen with this restaurant. Never coming here again.you pay to get sick.

We get the Mojarra a la Diabla when we come 10/10 recommend served in spicy sauce , beans and cheese, rice and shrimp on top of the fish. Comes with 5 tortillas. They also give you chips with beans and cheese as soon as you sit down with some spicy green salsa.
