12pm on a Sunday (8/13/2017) and we are THE ONLY PATRONS HERE!! Its nice with a/c and a clean w minimalist deco. If the menu seems like you might like it but need a visual, ask for their picture menu. There is a tiny in yellow description on each photo. We ordered cream cheese wonton, on special Pad thai- beef and pad sew ew- beef Thai iced tea Coca cola Flavor is amazing, food was quick and the server kind amd attentive. It is a bit odd to sit in silence. Like odd. You can hear music and a kids cartoon coming from the kitchen. Mid convo with my husband I jumped from the sound of a slamming pot/door. music in the dining area wouldnt hurt, at least to blend with the kitchen sounds a little. (I 'kitchen' the same way, with effective placements aka slamming ;) music helps)

Everything was excellent! Taste is spot on! Also the only place that the panang curry can be made non spicy! Service was great also. Only thing is that the portions aren't big.

Got the "Sea Sumran Special" $19.95 + Jasmine rice $2.50. It was delicious. The portion size is ok, but the quality of the claypot, steamed seafood with accompanying sauce was delectable. Looking forward to coming back for their "Bomb Shells" (which the server described as stir-fry with a bit of curry) and other dishes. The staff all seemed great and I'm pretty sure I heard them speaking Thai.

Ordered by phone and they were super helpful w questions about the menu. I’m a paraplegic and they gladly brought the food out to my car so I didn’t have to put my chair together. Very nice people! The food was DELICIOUS! I was very impressed! The pad thai was flavorful and moist - some of the best I’ve had in a long while. The yellow curry was SO good and the chicken fried rice was packed w chicken and veggies. All the food had a fresh taste to it - quality ingredients and spices. Oh and the price was reasonable! Lower cost than others - good portions and better tasting and quality. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Absolutely recommend eating here. All of the food I’ve tried is truly incredible, and all other Thai restaurants pale in comparison. The Crying Tiger Steak is a particular wonderful dish that I’d highly recommend, the dipping sauce is out of this world. The Naked Shrimp is so good. The Shrimp fried rice is amazing, get it with a level of spice added and you’ll be in heaven. Basically all the food here is amazing and 100/10 do recommend, you won’t be disappointed.

Best Thai spot for miles. That's not saying much. Service isn't that great. Asked for chili's and got less thab a spoonfull for a few plates of food costing over $40.00. It was a laughably low amount of chili. Other than that, it's pretty ok.

While searching for a place that could satisfy my craving for spicy basil fried rice, a dish I had fallen in love with at another Thai restaurant, I found that Sumran Thai Cuisine had exactly what I was looking for - the Spicy Fried Rice, complete with basil, onion, bell pepper, chili, and a choice of protein. I couldn't wait to give it a try. I placed my to-go order on their website, and the order was ready within 15 minutes. Upon taking my first bite, I was immediately captivated by the explosion of flavors in this dish. The combination of aromatic basil, crunchy onion, and the perfect amount of spice was truly a delight for my taste buds. As someone with a lower tolerance for spiciness, I appreciated that the heat level was just right, providing a satisfying kick without overwhelming my palate. I would definitely come back for their Spicy Fried Rice!

If you look at it from the outside you might not look twice, the sign for the strip only says Thai food. Do yourself a favor and go inside, ample seating looks great and the food is delicious with many dishes to choose from. Thai food is special it’s flavorful with many different spices and levels depending on the dish , the special part is you will be full and not feel horrid afterwards. All the dishes are lite and flavorful with your choice of protein and there’s vegan options as well. This is my third time here(I’m an out of towner) and it hasn’t disappointed me yet.

1st time here today. Not bad, honestly had better thai boat. But this helped take off that 8 year old itch for thai boat noodles. There's not much rice dishes, more noodles and such.

I've been here a few times with my buddy as its his fav local spot. Its priced right, service is very good as the waiter literally watches all tables and is right there when needed. I mean, he's 10 feet away watching and waiting, so intitive but not intrusive. We had a couple of soups and veggie fried rice and thai coffee. Always happy leaving here.

This place is amazing! It is always my go to spot for thai food. The pad thai is the BEST! I always try different thai food places but I always come back to this one. They have amazing service and will extreme meet all of your standards. Junior is always our server and takes care of us with delight. We love it here! Definitely 10/10 recommend. I always bring my friend from out of town here and they end up loving it. I also recommend the fried rice and the calamari. Please come here!

A little pricey for the quantity...but some really good flavors. We asked them to not use MSG in order to get the full flavors of natural ingredients. We had the Picky Sampler, green curry with chicken, and Po Tack (seafood soup). Everything was very tasty...perhaps a little too much salt, but yummy.

My first time here because of the positive Yelp reviews. Ordered the Tofu Pad Thai to go. I hate to say it, but it didn't have any taste and it was pretty greasy.. A positive was the young gentleman that helped me was very nice....

Today was my second visit to Sumran Thai and I am glad I went back to give them another try. Location: Located on the SW corner of Westminster Street and Edwards you can find Sumran Thai in this small shopping center with plenty of free parking available. Hint, Edwards runs parallel to Beach Blvd but with way less traffic and lights if you ever in a hurry. Atmosphere/Ambiance: This restaurant is tastefully decorated and offers plenty of inside seating. Food: I ordered from the lunch menu and chose the Spicy Basil with Tofu and it also came with a choice of salad or soup which I opted for the later. The soup arrived quickly (mixed vegetable soup) and it was so incredible tasty. It's seldom that I get blown away but today Sumran Thai made me a believer. The spicy basil was also very good and I was able to switch from string beans to bamboo shoots but that was it when it came to the dish ingredients, not sure if the lady misunderstood me but maybe some bell peppers and onions would have made this dish perfect. Nevertheless, the dish was flavorful and filling and for $7.95 priceless. Verdict: 4.5 Stars for reasonable priced food, great ambiance and friendly service. I'll be back! Enjoy and Bon Appétit.

Staff was very nice and soup appetizer I had was very good. But the Thai chicken basil dish was not good at all. It had no flavor and some of the basil was a little burnt.

The chicken pan fried noodles were delicious, and the portion was huge! I ate half and brought the rest home. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Nice to eat inside on a cold night.

My current favorite Thai restaurant in the area. Pretty good, got spicy and it was too spicy but I asked for it. Pad Thai, drunken noodles, fried rice, green curry, basil ground pork all were pretty good. Take our service was courteous.
