I got the medium pho with rare, meatball, tripe and tendon. I loved the broth! So much depth and so flavorful! The egg rolls were also very good. The only downside is you’re not able to make reservations. We had 8 people in our party, and even though we called in and showed up off hours from normal meal times at around 2pm, there were still a wait. But the broth made the wait undoubtedly worth it 😋🥰🍲🩷

It was a very nice Pho place, but in our extended experience we haven’t really encountered a lousy pho restaurant. What is really good about this place is that they make their egg rolls with meat, which we like a lot more than those with just vegetables. The waiters were very nice and pretty attentive. The soups were also delicious, but the portions are quite large. Overall, it was a great experience.

If you grew up during Pho 79 generation and loved it like I did, then you’ll love Pho 101. One of the offspring from 79, opened 101. It’s like the new generation of pho! For pho, there are only two prices. Medium ($12.25) or large ($15.25) and you can pick up to 4 items. We got rare, fatty, tendon, meatball in the large bowl with a side of oxtail ($6). You could smell and taste the strong broth of bone marinated over night and its spices. The broth is a bit darker, not as fatty but very fragrant. I had pho two days in a row and can totally tell the difference. Fiancé also raves about this place. My other go-to item is the rice item. However they don’t make broken rice, it’s regular rice. Same concept with one ($11.50), two ($12.75), or three item ($14). I got grilled pork, egg loaf and sunny side up. But the server recommended to get the grilled pork chop over the grilled pork bc it tends to be on the dryer side. The pork chop was thin and was just average for my liking. The egg loaf was the winner. Tasted like my mom’s homemade version and it was moist. Can’t go wrong with sunny side up. It would taste better if it was with broken rice. Still tasty though. The decor is cute that’s like industrial farm house. Lots of parking.

Very spacious, clean and well decorated pho restaurant. At first glance, the metal frame partitions made it look like a jail or metal fabrication shop but the floral decorations helped lighten it up. The pho was a huge portion even the medium size with plenty of noodles and meat. Broth was flavorful but light without being too fatty. Some type of chili satay sauce was provided and was delicious without being too spicy. Service was nice. Contactless payment available and pay your check up front not at the table. Restaurant filled up quickly by 11.

Delicious food and very quick service when the restaurant isn’t super packed. The first time we went, the restaurant was super busy, so service time was as expected. The second time, we got most of our food 5 minutes after ordering. We didn’t receive the egg rolls we ordered though, but we were not charged.

There are seats available while you wait to be called to a table. I got the Com Suon Nuong. It comes with nuoc mam (fish sauce) and a small bowl of pho soup. Be careful because the soup is very hot. There are restrooms available here. A minimal amount of straws are provided with the utensils on the table.

Since we were Westminster might as well have really good Pho. Very friendly staff. Adjacent parking. To get into the parking lot you must be traveling west on Edinger before Beach to pull in if you miss the driveway you’ll be making a huge circle to get back here. I got the Large Pho with rare steak and brisket and the large is a real large. Restaurants have a different perceptions of what a large is. I’d say Pho 101 medium is an LA large Pho. My large was a lot of food with a lot of meat. Very clean restaurant and if you’re familiar with old OC Charley Browns restaurant was across the street back in the day.

What a gem. Hidden off the 405 and Beach. Off Edinger. This new spot has great pho 🍲…. The broth is delicious! The serving is plentiful. Noodles are perfectly cooked. The brisket is awesome. The staff is friendly and the prices are within reason. If your hungry and looking for a new Pho spot. Try Pho 101 out. You will not be disappointed.

Grilled meat goi cuon was big and meaty. The peanut sauce was a bit watery, but it’s tasty. The large pho was worth the price. “Nam” was well cooked, but “Gau” and “Ve” were mediocre. I had the large noodle size, which somehow tasted like instant pho (Vifon brand). Overall, the food was decent, and the portion was good.

Today we went to Pho 101 located at 8031 Edinger Westminster Ca. As entered, we noticed the enterior to be very nice and modern looking. We were warmly greeted, seated and given a menu. The menu looked very good with many choices. We ordered a large Pho with fatty beef, tendon, and braised beef, a spring rolls with pork and shrimp, fried egg roll accompanied with lettuce and other greens and a Thai ice tea. The order came very quickly. The pho was very large with an abundance of noodles, tendons and beef. The beef was the best that I've had in pho. The beef was super tender. The broth was exceptional. The spring rolls were about 7 inches long amd full of flavor and fresh. The friend egg rolls were wrapped in lettuce and greens then dipped into the sauce. It made for very delicious tasty morsel. The Thai ice tea was good but typical taste of other places. It was refreshing. Definitely a place to visit!

Came here for lunch with my friend on a Thursday and there was plenty of seating. The restaurant is pretty big. I ordered the house special—crispy chicken with garlic butter sauce on rice. The chicken was little bit too crispy but damn was it tasty. The garlic butter sauce was perfect on the rice and the chicken. Even the salad it came with had some kind of garlic dressing and it was amazing. I tried my friend’s pho and it wasn’t bad but my rice dish was definitely better. Parking is kind of weird though. There’s only one way in and it’s through the life storage entrance. Keep going and you’ll find the parking lot for pho 101.

Meeting up with a friend for lunch where he frequented! Love the AC in a 85+ day. Lol I ordered the vermicelli while my friend went for his usual large pho bowl. I had the egg roll and charbroiled pork. The egg roll was a bit over done but the pork was flavorful! Plenty of veggie came with this bowl and I asked for extra lettuce so I can do a lettuce wrap on my own. In a hot summer day, the vermicelli was very refreshing with the sweet and sour sauce. The seating are nicely set up and not feeling cramped like other Vietnamese pho restaurants and plenty of parking!

Food needed a little more bouillon. The vegetables they use are also very much frozen and can be tasted. Sucks that it’s that obvious. Maybe my taste buds are changing! >.<

While visiting the little saigon area... have to try some Pho. So many places to choose from!! So happy we decided on Pho 101. I like their menu style, you can order a Medium or a Large size. And do add ons, such as extra meats, or oxtail etc. I ordered a Medium and it was still a good size, and added some fatty bits. It was sooooo goood!!! Gives the pho an extra something something. Broth very flavorful and piping hot. Which is how its sposed to be!!! My husband always orders porkchops with rice when he's at a vietnamese restaurant and he said these were 🔥🔥🔥🔥 also came with a small bowl of broth. That was a nice touch. We both loved this place. Yummy iced coffee too. Also clean and friendly.

I was in town for work and decided to try this Pho place. The pho was pretty good. The broth was not as flavorful as I’d prefer but it was hearty and filling. I would go back. The staff was nice and I liked the decor in the restaurant

I was pleasantly surprised that the beef pho was actually good! I wanted to try the ox tail soup as well, but they had just run out. The eggrolls and the spring rolls were very tasty and the triple bean drink/dessert was delicious! Staff was helpful and friendly.

Pho here is pretty good size compared to other places I recommend medium size and you can still add 4 different types of meat. Prices are fair and place is pretty clean. Highly recommended.

I didn't even think I liked pho until I came here. And I brought a family member when I came back to eat here and he also doesn't ever order pho, but he said this place's pho is great and he'd actually order it here. The broth is rich and delicious. I recommend ordering marinated onions and oxtail to add. I tried several meats and also the shrimp and tofu (since I came here twice to eat). I believe you can add 4 toppings per bowl. I also had their Thai tea, which was solid. The medium bowl is huge and only incredible eaters can get the large. Parking is not great and you'll get a spot if you're lucky. I went to eat around 2-3 PM to avoid the wait (seems like a half hour wait is normal) and to maybe grab a parking spot, which I managed to on my second visit. The first time I ate here, I parked at a place across the street.

One of the offspring from the famous Pho 79, decor is newer and cleaner. They’ve raised the price but their portion are pretty generous. The picture of the Pho is size Medium ($13.50) and you pick 4 proteins. I personally like their fatty brisket and tendons. You can smell and taste the strong broth of bone marinated over night and its spices. The broth is a bit darker, not as thick but very fragrant. Overall nice experience. Try them out. 3.9/5 ⭐️

Great atmosphere. Employees are so kind and polite. The shrimp spring rolls were delicious and the peanut sauce was very good. Got the pho with brisket and meatballs. The brisket was very tender and the broth was sooooo good. Will absolutely be coming back. The price was very reasonable, I paid ~$25 for the pho, the spring rolls, and a soda. I also appreciated the cleanliness of the place and the modern decor. 10/10

Best pho in the area by far. The large bowls are huge and the oxtail is tender and really good. The hard boiled egg was a great add on.
