Amazing hotel. Staff extremely friendly, conversational and helpful. Took every opportunity to ask if we needed anything, nice uniform across all the departments. Rooms were spectacular, well laid out, organised and, as expected, very clean. Food was delicious with wide buffet for breakfast, however you may also order anything you fancy (they have it all). Delicious restaurants for in the evening. Reception area extremely open and sparkling. Quiet and warm atmosphere, even though it was a huge reception area. Decor was spectacular throughout the entire hotel, not a dull area in sight. Even the entrance took me by surprise. Would 1000 percent go again.

We had the most wonderful stay in our suite. The suite was very clean and comfortable with lovely views of London. There were cakes and a handwritten note welcoming us. I really appreciated the small gestures - there were toiletries specifically for our toddler. The service was very personal and excellent throughout. We really enjoyed the in room dining - the food was excellent. The tea (Camellia) is also very good. The hotel has complimentary EV charging - 3 pin and type 1.

Attended the Charity Awards at the hotel. Great evening. The staff were wonderful. Dutiful, fast and efficient. The food was outstanding given the 500 odd people the hotel was cooking for. My first time here and I left very impressed

I didn't stay here but I stopped by for Afternoon tea and it was lovely! Great service from Clara and Asia, the options were flexible because of a dietary restriction I have, and the food was all delicious. The hanging tea trays are beautiful. The hotel is right by Hyde Park so it's perfect for stopping in before/after a walk in the park. I booked online ahead of time and found the online booking system very convenient and easy to use. Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. We were greeted by friendly staff on arrival. As it was a special occasion, they also upgraded us to a suite free of charge with a great view and provided us with free drinks and cakes. They also were giving all customers free ice cream and cakes in reception! Highly recommend!

Simply, amazing hotel. Even though they lack a spa, swimming pool or executive lounge, and had a small gym, I can say it easily that it is one of the best hotels I have been to. I stayed there in Dec, simply magical, the vibes are something else from music to lighting … etc it is like you are inside a movie. Some of the staff needs more training but the experienced staff are more and they will host you amazingly. Special thanks to Mr. Vincent. Rooms are excellent, I stayed in basic room and executive room both are amazing. Though I suggest you to take the deluxe room with park view. Breakfast buffet is just amazing and high quality even if it is limited comparing to other 5 stars hotels. The views in the breakfast place facing the park is to die for. Again magical 😊 The location of the hotel is excellent. Hopefully I didn’t miss anything even though I can’t add a lot. Recommend 👍

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay in the Executive Double. The room was wonderful - couldn't fault a thing. I loved that the shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and shower gel came in large bottles instead of those tiny sample sizes. Staff were amazing, approachable, welcoming and helpful. We would definitely recommend to others and would visit again. Also, great location, walking distance to London hot spots! P.S. Thank you to the housekeepers who always made sure our room was immaculate!

I had a wonderful 7-night stay at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in a Deluxe Classic room, and I'm excited to share my experience with you all. Let's start with the pros: * Great location: The hotel is close to Hyde Park and the Lancaster Gate Metro station, with a nearby bus stop. * Friendly staff who were always ready to assist with a smile. * Knowledgeable and attentive reception staff who were happy to answer questions. * The hotel was spotlessly clean, with fast room cleaning services. Now, let's address some areas where I found room for improvement: * As an Arabic person, I missed having a water bidet in the toilet. * The shower's water pressure was a bit weak. * The absence of a toilet cleaning brush was noticeable. * The room size was a bit small. * The elevators were also quite compact. * The hotel's prices were relatively high. In summary, I had a great time at the hotel and would consider staying here again if I return to London

This Hotel is exceptional. Great location and I greatly appreciated the green space of Hyde Park to look at from my room and to walk through. From the effortlessly friendly greeting at the front desk, to all the little touches such as the beautiful smell of the hotel, which matched the lovely scented bathroom amenities and the well thought out room. There are lots of little special touches I noticed… I had lots to compare this Hotel to after traveling for 5 weeks in LA, Paris and then London. Congratulations to the team at this Hotel. I would definitely return here next time I return.

Hotel was clean and modern, majority of the staff were polite. The room, although smaller than expected was clean & tidy. The main issue was the in room dining, due to us going to the theatre my friend and I decided to order in at the hotel. First time I called through it rang out then cut off, after it was constantly engaged. On our return we tried again numerous times, engaged every time. My friend then tried contacting the front desk who only answered when we called through externally, he appeared very uninterested in our issue. We ended up going to sleep very hungry. As hard working paying guests we were expecting a high standard and also to be shown the same respect and attention as all the people in their tuxedo's and beautiful dresses, unfortunately this was not the case. We did not want or expect any special considerations, just to be treated equally, instead of feeling like we did not matter. I do not like making negative reviews, but I feel I need to be honest. We, unfortunately will not be making a return visit.

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location! The room with a view of Hyde park was great, not huge but well furnished. The whole hotel is very luxurious. The vegan afternoon tea was delicious and great service from the staff!

Stayed at this beautiful hotel multiple times now and i know i will be going back. Greeted by a friendly hotel doorman upon arrival then walking into a modern and clean reception. The reception staff are all very professional and polite making check in easy and relaxing. The hotel rooms are all finished to a high standard and very clean with good minibar and bathroom facilities. Comfy beds and no outside noise. Breakfast was perfect and the Thai restaurant was exceptional. The assistant manager Ging is amazing and a true professional, always goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is 5*. Would recommend to anyone.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, specially if you’re in town for a quick visit and want to be close to a lot of sites. The view of Hyde park and the city is 😍😍 the rooms are really small tho. We got an upgraded room and it was still quite small. I did appreciate the great attention to design and cleanliness of the hotel. Overall, would possibly return but would consider looking at other options.

I went to the Royal Lancaster for their afternoon tea. While the food and tea themselves were very good, the service left a lot to be desired. At 40-45 quid per person, I'd expect far better service. The finger sandwiches were good, but perhaps nothing amazing. The scones were very nice, actually. The desserts were great as well. They are accommodating for halal food and vegetarians. The tea selection was broad, but not vast, but very good. Service was poor. We waited 5 minutes for a staff member to come to the front desk so we could be seated. The first plating came out at a decent speed, but everything after wad quite slow. It was also impossible to flag down the servers, as they seemed to be hiding in the back of house.

We stayed here in January. I had been to this hotel for a Christmas charity event the year before and the Christmas tree in the foyer is very impressive. On this trip we stayed 2 nights I was highly impressed by the rooms the service and the amaretto sours at the first floor bar is great!

Comfortable, clean and pretty, these would probably be the best words to describe Lancaster, they have massage services, the room service food was better than expected for sure, it’s not a Michelin star restaurant, but it’s far from being disgusting. I had the roasted chicken and it was juicy and tender where it should, and crispy where I like it to be, could have probably used a bit more seasoning I’d say, it comes with a delicious garlic mayonnaise. Enough about the chicken. Once you enter the hotel, you’ll notice a very nice lobby, it has nice decorations, in one corner you would see men in suits, I never knew what they’re doing all day there. The receptionists are often Thai ladies, their English is not too bad, but I find the accent a bit harder to understand. Friendly service, above average rooms with electric motorized curtains, the bathroom space is ok. The water pressure could be better. The room size can be a bit bigger. Overall good value for money considering it is London. It is recommended, but not highly recommended :) It being fairly close to Hyde park cannot hurt.

This was our second time staying at the royal Lancaster after a wonderful first experience. We stayed on NYE and decided to book a suite, the room was absolutely fabulous. The staff also read the comments I made on my booking for a room where I requested a room which overlooked the city of London, It looked absolutely Incredible (especially with the fireworks at 12:00). This was also a birthday surprise so we were treated to some desert by the staff shortly after arrival, this was a lovely touch. The bedding, the room, the view and the amenities were all magnificent and I'd recommend anyone to stay in one of the suites. We also ordered room service that evening although there was a wait to get through which is understandable at late hours, the food exceeded expectations. There were a few things which were different to our last stay, firstly there was a lot of noise on our floor and loud banging, though this only happened sporadically and didn't last long,, Also there were not multiple bottles of still and sparking water like last time, though we ended up using the ones in the mini fridge it would've been nice to receive a few large bottles. As part of the 'friends club' you are treated to complementary breakfast with your booking. During our first stay the breakfast was really amazing and is one of the main reasons we decided to return, it's simply the best breakfast buffet in London. This time the buffet was great again, but the service was not really there. We weren't shown to a table or asked if we'd like coffee or tea or even toast, we were just ignored really. This was slightly disappointing but the buffet itself was great. Though I can understand it must've been a busy and stressful morning for the staff. Even with the slight issues we can't wait to return to the Royal Lancaster soon and we recommend it to anyone looking to stay at a wonderful luxury hotel in London

Visited Royal Lancaster London for an official event. At the entrance, it was absolutely grand. The people were at service and was friendly throughout. The food was on time, right temperature and tasted good. The mobile signal was as issue. There was no signal available. In this era, it was surprising that such a hotel had not addressed the issue already!

Excellent location, rooms are a bit small. Service is great, and the an impressive wide and deep bar on the first floor level. Only thing, front desk can get super busy around midday-check out time so plan well if back to back with airport movement! 🙄

I was impressed with the quality of the scones and sandwiches plus the large selection of tea. The pastries were delightfully festive. The afternoon tea for two without the champagne was £110. The hotel is conveniently located near a tube station and a bus stop. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would recommend their afternoon tea to anyone.

Our stay was for a week. It was a unique hotel in every sense of the word. The breakfast was delicious and varied. The staff treated us with the kindness, service and smile. The location is exceptional with immediate access to Hyde Park. We will definitely return to this great edifice.

Did not stay over but had booked afternoon tea there for my Son's 13th Birthday. Surroundings were beautiful and clean. The afternoon tea was well presented and enjoyed by our party of eight, the sandwiches were nice, the desserts were very tasty and well presented. The staff were very friendly and attentive, they even gave a little birthday cake for my Son and sang Happy Birthday!!!...thank you

The afternoon tea here was absolutely phenomenal. My two children (8 and 5) were so thrilled with the cute and delicious food, and the wonderful atmosphere. The best highlight was our server, Hafize. She was so thoughtful and kind, but also took her time to develop a personal connection with us. My girls adored her too, she was so sweet with them. We left with our bellies and hearts full!

What an incredible hotel. My wife and I stayed there and from the moment we stepped through the door, the staff were welcoming and friendly. Our room was lovely with a fabulous view, and the ambience of the entire building is serenely calming. We ate at the Thai restaurant and the food and service was exquisite. The breakfast was fantastic in the morning, and I asked for an item that wasn't in the buffet - it was brought to our table within minutes. This is a wonderful hotel, that I cannot recommend highly enough.

Great hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is opposite Kensington Gardens/ Hyde Park. I attended an event held at the hotel, however I did not stay in a hotel room. The venue works well for events, with different sized rooms designed for networking sessions, key note speakers, and break out sessions. The catering was great too. I would recommend.

One of the nicest hotels we looked up. It was spotless clean and has a modern look. The staff was friendly as well. We enjoyed our stay. I can see myself recommend it to someone visiting London. It’s also located a few minutes away from Paddington station, which was convenient. Though if you plan on walking to areas of interest, it might be a bit of a long walk.

Amazing venue, with highly attentive staff, slight issue with baggage, but with the number of people we had there for a conference (over 300) plus a wedding, they can't be faulted. Easy to get to from trains, being less than a 5 minute walk from Lancaster gate station. Rooms were amazing and spotless when I turned up, with waterfall showers and automated light and dark blinds. Depending on where you are in the building, you also get a great view over Hyde Park.

love it, quiet, comfortable, super clean and the staff is super nice. Love their shower, and the spa and massages are great! Also love that the restaurant and bar stay open late. Right by the park makes it a great view and a great place to go for walks.
