Visited
the

on

Oxford
on
April
2,
2022
in
London
from
The
States
for
my
42th
birthday
every
country
I
visit
I
buy
a
charm
for
my
bracelet
and
this
time
was
no
different.
However
as
my
mom
and
I
walked
in
the
store
we
noticed
other
patrons
looking
at
the
jewelry
display.
As
I
approached
the
jewelry
display
with
my
73
year
old
mom
following
behind.
I
was
stopped
before
I
could
get
to
the
counter
and
asked
to
step
aside
ushered
into
corner
of
the
store
next
to
the
door
and
told
to
wait
until
someone
could
assist
me
by
a
pandora
clerk.
The
clerk
then
called
the
black
muslim
sales
rep(
from
the
back
and
asked
her
to
assist
us(
two
African
American
woman).
I
was
a
bit
taken
back
😑
because
no
one
else
was
stopped
as
they
entered
and
were
all
allowed
to
freely
move
about
the
store
looking
from
display
case
to
display
case.
Not
one
person
before
us
or
after
us.
As
I'm
being
rung
up
I'm
still
watching
the
door
and
how
the
other
guest
are
being
treated.
Now
here
I
am
wondering
why
we
were
stopped
and
given
a
black
sales
rep.
Very
interesting
I
must
say.
The
sales
rep
was
very
nice
and
helpful
I
asked
her
for
London
base
pieces
and
she
show
me
them
and
I
purchased.
The
sale
was
less
than
5
minutes.
But
the
experience
of
being
pushed
off
to
the
side
and
needing
a
certain
sales
clerk
to
assist
was
baffling
to
me.
Out
of
all
the
ppl
that
enter
the
store
before
me
or
after
I
was
the
only
one
that
even
purchased
anything
but
was
treated
as
if
I
had
to
be
watched
and
helped
immediately
to
get
me
out
the
store
and
not
allowed
to
freely
look
at
the
displays.
Which
stopped
me
from
even
wanting
to
purchased
more
pieces
to
add
to
my
collection.
It
2022
and
ppl
of
color
are
still
being
treated
differently
in
stores.
I'm
saddened
that
I
had
this
experience
in
one
of
my
favorite
stores
and
had
to
have
it
outside
of
the
USA.
