Paid £340.00 for a 10-minutes throat examination. Hospital charged me again another £166.33 for "the use of the hospital materials, medicines and equipment". Stay well away if you'd like not to be ripped off.

Dreadful service. Sent them a communication through their website after seeing the treatment and cost. The site said they would respond quickly. Never heard from them. I phoned them and spoke to three different people, repeating the same story each time and still nobody said that they had received my enquiry. I then asked about the cost for the treatment I wanted and was told it would be4 - 5 times higher than the stated price on their website. Terrible service and extremely misleading to patients. Avoid at all costs.

Actually it is only 0 star, but the GP was ok although he gave me wrong medicine. After I took the medicine it was not better so I went to another private clinic, they told me HCA gave me wrong medicine and treatment. So I didn’t to go to follow up. And I received a letter HCA asked for the second appointment which I did not even go. Actually I should ask the refund for the first time but the GP was nice so I think this mistake could be fine, but they sent me a letter for the payment of following up. I called and told them the situation three times, they still charge me, I don’t recommend this place.

HCA amidst the Covid crisis simply refuse to see infants with fever even though they lack any other Covid symptoms. Very disappointed to see that upon referral by the GP the best we could get for our baby was an e-consultation (feverish from a virus? An infection? A UTI? Inflammation from long-term antibiotic? Who knows as they would not see her!). The doctor was admittedly nice, but she did what she was asked to do - switch the antibiotic to third line treatment. My message as a mother and scientist to HCA: IF YOU WON’T SEE SICK BABIES HOW CAN YOU DIAGNOSE THEM AND WHY ARE YOU EVEN PRESCRIBING MEDS IF YOU CAN’T DIAGNOSE THEM? Your corporate policies are an embarassment to the medical profession. Heaven forbid you miss a septic baby, or one with no apparent symptoms other than those which require a physical exam. And you are still charging through the roof. IMMORAL, WRONG and DANGEROUS. (We ended up in A&E....)

Whilst the therapist was lovely the disorganisation and the customer service of The Wellington Hospital/HCA Healthcare is appalling. My son's treatment finished in June 2018 and we have just received the invoice for May/June 2018. The amount invoiced is an arbitrary, incorrect amount that is far too high. The first invoice was also late, and for the wrong amount (again too high). When I finally managed to speak to a human to sort out the first invoice they were completely unfazed and said incorrect invoicing happens all the time. Be very wary when dealing with them.

The worst customer service. It took me 2 days to get through to them. While they charge as a private clinic their customer service is poorer than NHS.

Just be warned DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR DR ORLANDO SWAYNE- he left a friend a vegetable by instructing an untrained doctor to do an op. This doctor was swearing throughout and has ruined her life. HE LEFT HER COLLAPSED AFTER AND NO HELP WAS GIVEN. PLEASE AVOID FOR YOUR LIFE

The actual doctor's appointment was very good but the billing process has been going on for months now, despite paying in full on the same day as the treatment. I have contacted them to explain that I have already paid but I still receive letters telling me they are not able to contact me and my account will be transferred to a debt collection agency.

The pre-registration is great and very fast when you arrive. Tge staff at reception were very efficient. The Portland Hospital provided first class care for me
