UK Visas and Immigration hotline is absolutely a disgrace. They charge 69p a minute after taking your credit card details first. My call for application fee refund lasted 7 minutes, of which, 2 minutes were on personal details (which of no use later at all), 3 minutes were spent on hanging there waiting for the agent to search on website, and 2 minutes explaining to me they cannot help but I need to go to a website. This was the second time I called about the same issue. The first time they said wait a little bit and call us back if nothing happens. Of course nothing would happen.

Incompetent staff is completely unaware of the immigration legislation and legal acts; not even able to read/remember the guidelines published specifically for the staff members. Not even able to spell a surname correctly or cross reference the paperwork to make sure there are no typos.

there are employees within delivery deliveroo practicing crimes accepting registration of illegal persons with false documents for a cost of 400 pounds, there are even under 17s registering easily presenting false full driving license eu and uk. it's too big it's magic that there are people advertising rent accounts that were opened this way with a chip and a phone with the App deliveroo on social network Facebook for 200 pounds monthly or 50 pounds a week, there are people with more than 8 accounts open to rent and up to a bike available for 80 pounds a week including maintenance of the bike and no worries about a lot of traffic for parking in a prohibited place or fast speed because the bike is registered in the name of unknown or fake people, insurance is paid directly by the minor 18 years to 16 years illegal from Brazil. The establishments that have a partnership for drivers to stick to meals do not check the data and photo of the child under 17 years of age, which facilitates the practice of the magic of these people within the mafia. The practice is great that I went directly to the person responsible for the deliveroo in the EC4R 3TE, but the security guard of the lost person did not accept to talk to me, saying that I would speak to the police showing power over the friendly employees of the company.

It is extremely difficult to get through and actually talk to someone but when you do, they make sure that you do not receive any useful information at all for 69 cents per minute. First I talked to someone at the international department who told me to call again and press 1 as my question is a domestic issue and calls cannot be transferred between these departments. Then when I finally got to an agent on the domestic line she wasted more than 10 minutes just to tell me that I need to call again and press 2 to talk to someone from the international department. To summarise, I spent around 8 pounds on the Home Office hotline and even the teller at the post office had more information for me than them.

I am completely disappointed in the way Home Office works. I applied in 2022 and waited until the last day of 6 months and they refused me for a very unreasonable reason about my husband's income not meeting the requirements. While my husband's income is more than that. I then requested an appeal and the court approved the appeal successfully and asked them to reconsider from January 2023 until now (7 months) has passed and I have not received any notice from them . So i'm waiting total near 2 years. An eerie silence on their part. I wonder what the government opened the interior ministry for? Are the interior ministry staff really doing their job well? How many families have been affected by your irresponsibility? Your irresponsibility and indifference have wasted the time, effort, money, and spirit of many people who wanted to reunite but you yourself prevented it. The life law of cause and effect spares no one! You will suffer the consequences for making people like us miserable, miserable and afraid every day about your damn visa.

Try Croydon. The Immigration Department is there. As for Home Office I would t hold your breath. As I said, Immigration is in Croydon, don't waste your breath here. As for replying to you, don't waste your time on immoral practices, nobody wants to deal with. Cough cough. It's just down to who you get at the time. And most of them, don't give a XXXX. I would wear Rwandan flag, if they do. Cause all our football grounds, have VISIT RWANDA all around, and in the background, and also on their 👕. So it can't be that bad. Besides starting a new life anywhere is daunting. Take Gt. Yarmouth. It is full of (L)only men from abroad, looking for a new (L)wife. That ain't happening!!! And can I be so BOLD as to ask why the Home Office ordered 40 tapes from me, off ebay, without a feedback, when there is nothing on them, as they are prerecorded. If you had asked for MY tapes, and not doodle-ali, you could have earned it. Instead of misogynistic attitudes 😒 still riding over. The system still isn't 💪 working. Is there someone named Bowman working there?

I applied for a visa for my mother in law to visit us, their refusal letter is a massive dissapointment. contradicting themselves, overlooking the evidence and supporting documents I submitted and they end the letter with "you have no right to appeal or request a review"! extremely disapointing.

Lazy employees on earth. They just raise new tickets everytime when we followup on old case. No escalation process and they conveniently keep tax payers hard earned money for years and if you somehow don’t follow up, it’s gone. They had not paid back our refund about two grand for more almost a year. We had to approach our local MP to get our own money back from them. They represent government and should be more empathetic and accountable

Very disappointing. I am only giving one star to their customer service but as a matter of fact it doesn’t even deserve 1 star. There’s no way to contact these people when in desperate need. Its just total disaster.

Scammers!!! Called 3 different departments and the same person responded to my complaint. This is outrageous and issue hasn’t been sorted either. There was no escalation to my complaint therefore no resolution. Try and avoid them like the plague.

I need to talk to someone, the answer to my query is not on the website. After half an hour of pressing option 2, taking numbers and redialling and otherwise negotiating the labyrinthine telephone system, I thought I was finally getting somewhere, but no. “For advice on ....... please go to the website. Goodbye.” Aaaaaaaagh. This is worse than torture.

A disappointing evening. Very hostile environment. Owner was intimidating and rude to staff in front of guests. Wanted French dish but was told it was no longer on the menu. Aggressive bouncers turned most people away at the door. Shame my mate Danny couldn't handle it.

FYI Don't waste your time to go there. Its only for minsters😒. Public who is looking for help or advice( like myself ) has been sent to Croydon branch 😒. Looks like this one in Croydon is only one who's dealing with visas, etc....

Very unfriendly behaviour from University authority and UK Home Office. I wanted to change my current course into a new one. I was struggling with my course. But they told me to go to my home country and apply again into a new course and pay the tuition fees/Ihs fee/embassy fee again. To tell frankly, UK universities, Govt. and Home Office are not student friendly. All they want is money. Totally business minded. Whatever you want to do they will ask for ocean of money. Such a nightmare for me as an International student. If anyone is interested to study in UK I would just recommend from my experience to ignore this country for few years. They are just strengthening their business using international students.

The UK Visa & Immigration department of the Home Office is racist, corrupt and cannot be trusted! My partner applied for a visa to visit the UK. The department made mistakes during the assessment of her supporting documents and refused to issue the visa. When we complained, the department refused to help us, by disregarding and ignoring all of our attempts to reach out to them. We were punished for mistakes which they made. The department discriminated against my partner because she is from a poorer third world country outside of Europe. Due to the assessors carelessness and failure to observe her documents properly, the department drew unjustified and discriminatory conclusions that she would not return to her home country, would overstay her visa and even claim benefits to support her stay in the UK.

What do you want UK VISAS AND IMMIGRATION? You want students to feel helpless and die of depression?? You have any idea how much your delay causes a person to self harm? You call for another interview after paying a hefty amount for a priority visa and then you don’t come to attend it???!!! What is this?! You think people are stupid and have all the time in the world to beg in front of you to give the visa? I don’t understand, how hard is it to grant a student visa! You take money, take our patience, take our time, and then go in a ghost mode?! No way we can contact you, no way where we can I actually physically come and talk! You should be behind the bars for harming students mental health and playing with it. You should take responsibility for it.

Absolutely rip off. Charge very expensive for poor, slow, delayed and unprofessional service. The online form is really inadequate with poorly stated references and guidelines. Helpline by phone is the most unhelpful people, very rude and ignorant.

Be aware that they will take your passport away and not give you any time frame on when you will get it back. They lied on the reason why my application experienced delays, they first blamed Covid, come on!! This is 2023, the pandemic is over!! And after I reached my local MP it was finally an IT issue that lasted months and months… They do not care about people and will treat you like you are totally stupid. I applied for a family visa 5 months ago and still waiting to get my passport back. I feel like a prisoner and not being able to go back to my home country if something happens to a family member is just unbearable. They shouldn’t be allowed to take your passport at all, I never saw a « procedure » like this before, this is against the human rights!
