We had called to find out when the bus would be coming and they had told us that it would be coming in 6 minutes. But we ended up waiting at the Paddington stop for over 1 hour. We were also trying to get onto an orange bus route after taking the red route to return to Paddington and we asked the bus driver where to get off. He said "the next stop" but when we got there the buses were no longer running 😑 I would definitely recommend that anyone who wants a reliable hop-on hop-off service should use another company. This is not worth the money

Terrible experience. Booked hop on, hop off bus tour. Had to wait over 45 mins at first stop for the next bus. No live tour guide or stop announcements. Driver completely ignored the route line and skipped the two stops we wanted. Wasted lots of time and money because of this company.

Great day, very busy and tired. Early morning start, I truly enjoyed the trip seeing all the best sights of Windsor Castle, Bath and Stonehenge. Amanda was extremely helpful. She hired wheelchair for me as I couldn't walk very far. Then Amanda purchased a walking stick to take home. Thoughtful lovely and helpful happy and full of information on the sightseeing with lots of hints. The driver Lucian was polite and was a very skilled driver in the narrow streets and lanes. Wonderful trip packed with great historical sites. Loved the scenery and the trip.

Don't care about the type of tour the customer gets. 2 or 3 tours were not as advertised. And, they refuse you your refund.

Avoid at all costs. This place is a scam that will sell your credit card information.

The boat operator say that without a printed copy they don't get their money from Golden Tours. Forced my family of 4 to miss our scheduled boat and run to print a copy before the last decent daylight tour at 3:30 or lose nearly £30. At least the children were pleased in the end. One star for the experience nevertheless.

Harry Potter tickets demand you are at the bus stop at least ten minutes before the time scheduled for boarding the coach. 45 minutes later there's a small chance your bus will arrive. One hour later is more likely. The excuse: traffic. Maybe planning for the well known traffic could help. Arrogance and attitude definitely don't. We did not use their hop-on busfor that reason,we used Big bus. We will not use their Windsor tours either.

We booked a family ticket at 4pm from the London Eye, open top trip for 1.5 hours to see the Christmas lights, all great. The tour guide Anna banana? Was really good and informative, the kids loved her. It was great to see the lights and trees from a higher position. Highly recommended this trip.

We purchased the 48 hours Hop on Hop Off bus tour in London. Let’s just say, we are on the second day and we have only been only the bus once!!!! You have to wait forever for the bus to come. The stops are not clear. Buses passed us as that stop. I am so unhappy. I am spending my money on Uber’s when I should be going on the bus I paid for. This was the BIGGESt waste of money. Go with other Hop on Hop off buses in London. There are many more of them in the city. DO NOT PURCHASE TICKETS FOR GOLDEN TOUR. I will be fighting for my money back. $234!!!!! Not worth it at all. Amanda was the best tour guide ever! She was hilarious and very informative. She kept us on schedule and made sure we saw all the best sights! Edward was a great driver, he kept us safe and on time! I highly recommend!

Drivers are good and safe. They offered free ponchos and headphones. The only thing I wish is that they had more buses on the routes. If you miss a buss your waiting about 20 min for the next one.

Bus Tour was a good day out for the family. Maps give good detail as to how the route/service works so make sure you read to avoid any issues. Initially found that it was slightly more expensive but they did a price match so very happy. This helped them go from a 4 to a 5 star service. Thanks!

Also loved the behind scene stories she shared on the bus to keep us entertained while traveling. Kiran, our driver, got really impressive driving skills, who made me sleep sounder than in the hotel bed.

Wonderful tour with Amanda and Amrish!! We went to Bath, Stone Henge, and Windsor Castle! Windsor Castle is not open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays so we just got to look at it from outside the gates, but Amanda made up for it by giving us more time at the other locations! She provided background and history of the sites we were visiting while we were on the bus, as well as got out at each location and took pictures for all of the groups!

Amanda our tour guide was terrific ! She went above and beyond to make sure everyone had lots of information in both English and Mandarin throughout the day visiting Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Oxford. Steven our driver was great as well extremely safe driver on the roads. This was a great tour to see three amazing areas in a short amount of time.

It's 10am and you're just off the plane from the other side of the world. You cannot get into your accommodation until 3pm. What do you do? Hop on a bus and get a tour of London is what you do.
