Had a lovely time here, food was great, good quality and cooked well. Staff were pleasant and attentive. I'm sure I'll be back soon.

Food is ok. Dont take bbq wings , they were not fresh. The owner lady was very cold and impolite. Not welcoming place and quite dirty. Wouldn't recommend even with Groupon woucher

A really good tex mex restaurant in Wallington. They do £5 lunch which is great value. For my meal I had an Enchilada with some nachos and pineapple juice. All of this inclusive in the lunch deal. The food preparations are good. Definitely recommend giving it a try specially during lunch hours.

Overall friendly staff and initially is pretty good however the next day 4/5 family members got severely ill with potential food poisoning. This was a birthday meal and didnt end well as everyone now cant get off the toilet. Clearly there are some freshness / storing issues that the restaurant needs to investigate!

Assume its a family run place as the staff seemed to be constantly sat down on a table to the back of the restaurant chatting away, meaning it was very hard to get the attention of the staff, I had to get up 3 times to seek the waitress and ask her for things such as napkins and more beverages. I believe everything served to me had been microwaved. The ribs I had for starter were both hot and cold and the taco shells for main where soggy and the meat tasted off. The only thing that was cooked from fresh was the churros for dessert, believe it or not this item actually took the longest to come out of the kitchen. The service charge was already calculated into the bill which I don't think was deserved but I did stupidly pay the full £84 bill for me and my partner to get food poisoning.

Used a groupon voucher so it was a great deal. Food was tasty and lovely service.

What an absolute disappointment! Was hoping to get real mexican food, I have no idea what they've sent! Literally aubergine curry and rice in a broken tortilla. This is supposed to be a veg.burrito with salsa, cheese, guacamole, and sour cream. Never making this mistake again.

Absolutely loved the place. Both the exterior and interior are very trendy and welcoming. Loved the lighting, the deco and the seating arrangements. The hanging curtains made of bottle corks is a novel idea. The service was really prompt and very good. The waiter arrived with a big smile, explained the dishes well and served everything in time. The dishes are very very well made on authentic Mexican menu and original ingredients. Portion sizes and generous too and the place isn't too pricey. I would recommend the place for a good night out with family and friends.

Good service and interior however the large coke we were served was completely flat. 10 minutes after ordering, both our starters and main were “ready.”The grilled chicken wings were nice however the mains were bland and unseasoned. The chicken burger was not fresh; chewy and inedible, it had probably been left waiting on a hot plate for hours and was served straight to us. It was so tough, dry and chewy, very lazy they had served us old food which was probably cooked during their lunch time hours. When we also asked for a burrito without onions, they said everything was pre made so be aware food here is not fresh and you will be served old batch cooked meals.

Nice service, food hit and miss. All mains tasted pretty much the same and lacked flavour (apart from a lot of salt). (All vegetarian food I should say). Big portion sizes nonetheless. Dessert was good, churros were tasty.

As we walked in into the Cactus Grill, our immediate reaction was....old person smell. Lady who took our order was very friendly and accommodating, unfortunately though, overall the food was disappointing. I ordered the calamari to start which was very rubbery, definitely frozen and immediately made me feel, slightly sick. My partner ordered the meatballs which were better but tough and additionally probably frozen. MAINS: i ordered the T-Bone steak, which was cooked relatively well, parts a bit tough, wedges were nice and came in a rather quirky little box, which we found quite satisfying. But unfortunately the sides were very underwhelming, I recieved half of a barely cooked tomato, a dirty singular mushroom that seemed to have not been washed or barely touched the pan and half an onion (yes half an onion) which was barely cooked and nothing had any seasoning. I think the chef needs to be a bit more creative with these sides. The peppercorn sauce was pretty disgusting, I tipped the pot unsidown for approximately 30 seconds before it all slopped onto about 1/10th of my steak. Quickly scraped it off as it looked extremely unsatisfying and can agree the taste was not amazing either. My partner ordered the fajitas which came out sizzling to our satisfactory surprise, in her words, first one was nice, but became more and more disappointing as the meal progressed. Churros were nice, but we were charged £5 for 4 churros, chocolate sauce was good though. Luckily we had a taste card and saved a bit, because paying the full price would of been upsetting. First review ever as we feel this place is OVERATED!!!
