We chose this car park as it was the closest one to Bond Street and it's advertised as secure. We pre booked it the day before and planned a shopping day out. Upon arrival it looked really secure with CCTV, it had some expensive cars parked around and we could see that you can only enter with a ticket, which reassured us. Although we couldn’t see any security person at the desk, we believed that the car park is looked after. After the shopping got too heavy we felt that putting the bags in the boot of our car is the best option, since the car park was only a few minutes away from the shops and we didn’t want to carry the bags around. I was vigilant about my surroundings and I made sure that I wasn’t followed to the car. Our car has blacked out windows and a boot cover, it was impossible to know what was inside the boot. We came back to a note on our car and the back window smashed. Someone had robbed everything. I contacted the police at the time, We are absolutely devastated and haven’t slept all night. It was a traumatic experience, especially that we were with our 7 year old daughter who was terrified. We spent £50 to make sure we’ve parked in a quality car park, but have lost over £12,000 plus damage to our car and experienced emotional stress. We didn't see a security guard at any point throughout the day and the bar code system does not work. Please don't use this car park, someone else had the exact same thing happen 2 weeks ago here, unfortunately I didn't read the reviews until it was too late.

****** UPDATE ***** Having emailed the CEO they seemed to have stepped up their game. On visiting the carpark today (25/01/22) the doors are being fixed and there will be a patrol doing the rounds .. but just don’t leave anything on display!! Your car WILL get broken into here! No staff on site. Doors Jammed open. Q parks respond was it was “my fault for leaving anything in the car” when I questioned the fact that the car parks are advised as Safe and Secure, I was told it’s was not Q parks opinion, but the police’s and won’t take it down from there websites!

Terrible. Looks good security but car broken into and thousands £s lost. And we still paid £25 for three hours. Why else use private parking in London?

***WARNING DO NOT PARK HERE*** Foolishly didn't read the google reviews before parking here and made the mistake of assuming Qpark was secure. We parked here Friday evening and came back to a smashed in rear window and a stolen bag. The bag wasn't on show and they knew exactly what they were going for (money not taken from front of car/car not searched in any way). We were one of TWO vehicles targeted on Friday, and while we were contacting the police someone was robbed trying to get into the car park back to their car! No security guard, the same 'they are on patrol' sign several other people have posted and help points didn’t work. Not worth the hassle or the price. Edit: the items stolen was not on view in anyway. A bag in a boot with tinted windows, under a parcel shelf does not make a vehicle a target.

My car was broken into in this car park on 21st September 2022. There was no one on site. The person on the phone said "I cannot help you" but seemed to know I was calling about a car break in before I mentioned it. Follow-up emails were more polite but, contain nothing useful. The Police made comments that I cannot repeat or publish here, but you can guess that they were not complimentary. No CCTV provided to police, despite suspicious car in the exit slipway. Have used this car park for many years. It is such a shame, this used to be a safe car park, and considering the cost of parking there, it would not hurt to have it manned. I admit it was foolish to leave valuables in the car, despite it being well hidden.

Arrived in Q-Park Oxford Street at around 18.20 on 10th January 23. I have used this car park over the years on several occasions and whilst extremly expensive believed it was secure due to entry system for both Cars and pedestrians and felt it would be worth paying the extra cost because of this. Unfortunately, this is not the case and my car (in spite of being parked directly in front of CCTV) and within a few metres of the "unattended" security office, both rear window and one passenger window smashed and goods stolen from the Vehicle. I will add that nothing was on show and windows tinted. With no Q Park security to be seen,I immediately called for help/support using the call button at nearest pay station and in spite of sign showing on Security office window that "Your Parking Host is on Patrol" there was no one available from the company on site to assist. Where he or she was patrolling was therefore not in this car Park!! I would have at least expected a 24 hr security guard on site to assist customers in these situations.(If nothing more than to help remove glass and cover windows with film and other support.). I was given a telephone number of someone based at Tower Bridge to call,in order to pass on details of incident. When speaking to them ,Only offering me their apologies and if i write in,i could even receive a refund for the time parked!-Thanks a lot! Finally after complaining that i was receiving no on site support a 3rd part security company turned up and advised that they couldn't do much and didn't patrol the car park and was only there when called out by Q Parks to deal with incidents such as this as and when they occur! In actual fact they were quite helpful but there role is only based on"After the Event". Since this occurred, i have read many other reviews and it appears that there is a major issue with Theft in this Car Park and customers stating that in spite of the huge cost to park there is no security based here (or at least 24 hrs). Thieves must know that expensive vehicles park here and there is Zero Security-So they can help themselves. In my opinion (whilst there are the usual signs about leaving personal possessions) the company is charging a premium price to its customers giving an overall feeling of your car being secure, whilst in actual fact in spite of many incidents, they are doing nothing to help stop these incidents. However, very happy to charge. Use this car park at your own risk, but dont worry if you get broken into, they do offer parking cost reimbursement. You will be safer to park on the road!

DO NOT PARK HERE. Paid to park here for one night, and come back to the back window smashed, nothing in the car so nothing was taken. Was told to email for a refund on the parking, emailed 3 times without a response. Was told when parking here it was safe and a security guard walks through the car park; this was false and even when I tried to call someone for assistance, there was no-one in the office and had to wait for someone to come from another car park in London to get there. Absolute waste of money and the extra you pay thinking you’d get better security, May as well park on the roads. Have been told by several people this is a common thing, so my advice is avoid, especially as once you’ve paid , and you do get broken into they literally couldn’t care less.

👉 DO NOT PARK HERE 👈 Apparently organized crime is active in this area. Unfortunately we did not consult the review prior to us parking here yesterday 21 April 2023. Our car was damaged, rear window smashed and out backpacks 🎒 taken. During several hours no one present for q-parque, and with help of private dog security we were able to report to police. afterwards staff member gave us indication how to ask for cctv footage. Very expensive parking with no guarantees of safety. ---- Edited (in response to comment from QPARK 26.4): Items were in the car in a non-visible place, no guard was visible in the park for at least 2 hours and to have a especial security doing its round once in a while is apparently not enough. I am waiting to get the CCTV footage as requested, having identified Crime Reference Number. Still waiting.

ORGANISED CRIME! Car broken into, belongings taken. Despite advertising as a secure carpark with attendants, there were no attendants in sight! Had to speak to someone over a speaker! Belongings were in a tinted boot with a black shelf covering all items, there was no way someone walking past would have known what was in the boot by chance. This is organised crime. Vehicle was parked right by the stairwell and a cctv camera on -2 level. If the owners don’t believe they have a problem with crime they are massively mistaken. My wife was driving the car with our kids and was left to drive the car out the carpark with smashed glass and had to travel to a family home an hour away to get the window taped up then drive over an hour home with 2 scared and upset kids. This seems to be organised crime and happened within the space of an hour as she had returned to the car to drop off bags then took the kids to get something to eat. As I said, this wasn’t someone taking a chance, I strongly suspect thieves operate freely in the carpark and watch for people returning to and leaving their cars and as there are no attendants patrolling (as they advertise) the thieves can operate easily. She parked here as you advertise as an attended carpark, when in reality you are not! For the prices you charge you should have attendees visible, especially for people in need of assistance having been broken into!

I wish I read these reviews before I booked. The window in the car next to mine had a smashed window, when I reported it (calling them as there were no attendants) they did not seem surprised at all and would not even take any details (car park level nor the reg). For that reason I do not feel safe to book there again. Otherwise a nice looking car park..

Break ins clearly still an issue at this carpark. Our car window was smashed in and bags stolen – the car next to ours too. Staff at the carpark and the police have been very helpful and supportive but a response from Q-Park customer service less reassuring – describing these kind of incidents as 'very rare'. We were parked near the exit which seems particularly vulnerable to thefts and not secure. Perhaps theft warning signs here would be helpful, as the thieves were able to enter freely down the exit ramp.

DO NOT PARK HERE ! As with all London Underground car parks, they are anything but secure and are hot beds for criminals with zero security ! You're better off parking on the street taking a parking ticket (cheaper in some cases). Myself and other colleagues have been targeted in Q-park & NCP's car parks throughout London recently . They claim to be secure but are not ! Park on a busy street and take a parking ticket instead of coming back to find your vehicul smashed in and good stolen !!! This problem really is endemic and people should be aware ! The parking companies don't care ! They just want your money ! AVOID !!!

If you're wealthy and can afford to reserve the huge parking spots on the -1 floor then it's a good place to park. For the rest of us we're usually left with the tiny spaces on -2 and -3 (when it's actually open) which seem fine but if you do manage to squeeze between two cars there's no room to open your doors and of course more and more "smart guys" decide to park in the middle spot, effectively blocking both the left and right ones. The ceiling is very low and has lights and fixtures hanging even lower. I've already damaged my boot door once as it opens automatically. I now have to remember to check and evaluate before opening so I can stop it manually before it crashes into something. Did I mention that it's extremely expensive and there's no one at the customer help desk or in the car park in general? Such a waste of space and resources..

Never park car there again! They are just ripping people! I parked exactly 1hr exactly and they charge me £16 and instead £8. Better to park on the street somewhere then to use that site. Very expensive to much. Still don’t understand why they charge me double money just parked exactly 1hr never go again there.

Oxford street Q Car Park. Had our car broken into, smashed the back window taken our personal belongings. We where staying at a local hotel to the q car park in Cavendish square, arrived early so parked the car ourself in the Q car park and left our belongings in the car until we could check-in a bit later. Left our over night bags hidden under Parcel shelf (I would say hidden) from view. This is a gated (you think Secure) but obviously not. You would think what they charge to park in these car parks and speaking with what looked like the caretaker there would be onsite security with on site CCTV keeping an eye on the vehicles. I know you should not leave any valuables in your vehicle, when you turn up and see all gated etc, and leaving belongings out of view. They must have plenty of time to look around all the vehicles and maybe watching you arrive? Not to sure if I would recommend any one parking there vehicle here if you was thinking of doing the same thing. Apparently this has happened on a number of occasions. Just all the inconvenience of it all, replacing your belongings and getting the back window repaired. Headache that I could of done with out.

Great location, ample space - and excellent customer service from Clifford who identified that I was a first time user of this car park, and helpfully explained the revised exit procedures. However, having read the reviews... this place clearly has a crime problem, and the management responses indicate that they're doing nothing to address this.

Great location, easy to find, clean and spaces are not too crammed. 3 stars because I pre-booked and the kiosk that I was to scan upon leaving was broken and said it could be done at the kiosk, but that was not true. I then had to pay again upon leaving and then spend a chunk of time trying to get a refund for double payment. Rather irritating!!!

Car broken into at this car park last night- 3 windows smashed and 5 bags taken- all my clothes and >£1000 worth electrical equipment. Had just moved out of my flat so loads of stuff in there. Thought it was a secure car park given the extortionate price per hour, visible cctv cameras and other expensive cars parked here, plus gives the impression with a lit up desk that there is an attendant present. Now looking at reviews seems this happens all the time but nothing is done about it. No attendant on site when we rang.

Great parking space in the heart of Oxford Circus. It is situated very close to Bond Street and is right next to Cavendish Square. One needs to take the glass lift (situated right next to the entrance to Cavendish Square) down to the parking space, which is where all the cars are parked.

Lock items in your boot! I've parked here for years, usually only when needed (for wheelchair user) because of cost. In June my car window smashed in. Very helpful on-site attendant told me he had challenged them and they ran off. I suggested to him he really shouldn't have risked it on his own. Phone support rather poor but there is really not much they can do at the time. My sibling visited again within weeks and met someone who had just had the same thing happen to them looking for an attendant. This car park now feels falsely secure. It does recently appear to have become a magnet for break-ins (I note other similar reviews) and that does need some response by Q-Park.

On strike day, we drove into work and parked here. When we returned to the car, my battery was dead. Mohamed, who was the car park attendant at the time, was kind enough to push the car so that we could jump start it. Definitely gone above and beyond and saved the evening! Thank you!

Never use this car park. We had our window smashed in within 30mins of parking. (We believe People watch you park and then break in, apparently they sit in Cars and wait) Car Park company and the police want nothing to do with it and are extremely unhelpful. They won't give us the CCTV and have ignored our calls. Save yourself the horrid experience and don't park here.

DO NOT PARK HERE, DO NOT PARK HERE This was the third time we had used this car park in a good location in reach of everything we need within London. We left our car here with the full piece of mind that it would be safe and secure and per the promise on the companies website. Unbeknownst to us our car had been broken into while we were the other side of London and we arrived back to an awful site that left my family in pieces. We were heartbroken, not only were we promised safe and secure parking but piece of mind from our previous experiences. We immediately contacted the customer support who informed us of the process that was best to follow, we were also immediately informed that we were be getting a refund which is obviously a given regarding the circumstances. We then asked the company if they could provide a safe location to keep our damage car over night, they informed us that they were unable to do that and we should just leave the car there as, “other customers whose vehicles had been broke into had been left there overnight and nothing had happened to them.” This was told to us by an operator on the head office line for Q Park London. I can’t believe we were told to leave our damaged vehicle in a car park where it has already been damaged in overnight because other customers had done it before and nothing had happened?!?! I would strongly advise never to use this company or car park. As we will never be using it again.

Updated review. since my complant about the EV chargers not working, the team have worked hard to find alternative solutions, which is greatly appreciate! Old review ... I am paying for a very expensive annual space in Q-Park Cavendish Square and recently purchased an electric car because I knew there are many charging points in the Cavendish Square car park. It turns out they are ALL OUT OF SERVICE and Q Park have not arranged for repair despite not working for many months. I called the company who installed the machines and they said it is up to Q Park to arrange servicing. This is shocking given the extortionate prices they charge for parking there. Tobias

AVOID PARKING HERE! Countless thefts over a long period of time and the company do absolutely nothing about it to takes steps to improve their car park to assist people when it does happen. Then will only respond to the positive reviews and don’t even waste their time with speaking to or compensating customers when a theft does happen. Totally unacceptable and lazy customer service.

Very very good and convenient place for Central London parking. Quick and access access to theatres and eateries. Only tip is book online in advance. They have an evening offer 6pm - midnight for £24 which is a bargain, if you consider the hourly rate!
