I asked for 4 simple cornrows to the back and this could not be done. The owner was on the phone the entire time and more than likely because her head was tilted she parted my hair crooked. They said I don’t have hair like them, I have white hair, so they charged me another $20. I have curly hair, 2c, I am not white, like, at all, but that doesn’t even matter. I came washed and blow dried with nothing in my hair. I have jam gel caked in my head. I have had my hair braided many Times with no issues at all. Definitely not going back and I don’t know where all the good reviews came from.

This was my first time trying a shop in westmont and it was TERRIBLE! My appointment was set for 8:30 and the lady didn’t get there until 9:15. I went to get knotless braids so She started my hair and half way braided them down. Then another customer came in 2 hours after me and got box braids. The lady was done before me and was done within 5 hours!!!!! I was in that shop for 7 in a half hours for no reason. They took way too many breaks and had 2 kids there that they had to keep grabbing. The lady was on the phone the whole time and was very loud! And to top it off I was STARVING! They were eating while braiding my hair! This was a very bad experience! My hair is done very nice but I wouldn’t go back because it is not a professional business at all and not for the price I had to pay.

I just love 💕 them, I’m a Nurse so I’m aways last minute. The staff always tries to get me in no matter what, they are professional and try to get you out as fast as possible. The hair style above usually take 10 hours they always get me in and out with 4-5 hours no problem. I have really fine hair and it’s hard for most people to braid but they do it with no problem 😌. They really know what they are doing. They also do my 10 year old daughter hair and she is really tender headed and she never 👎🏽 Complain when they do it.

Horrible. Sew in. I showed a picture of what I wanted and they still gave me what they wanted to give me. Never returning. Tracks are already very loose and it’s braided too tight.

Just left Belle Dame and had a great experience putting in crochets with curly hair. The ladies are very nice and actually asked if the tightness of the braids was comfortable as they braided! I was quoted 2 hrs and was done in exactly 2 hrs. Reasonably priced. My hair looks great! Thanks!

I absolutely love this hair shop and would recommend it to anyone. Especially if you are looking for great affordable braids of all styles.I my self have gone here for the past 8 years .They are the only people i trust we my hair honestly .....Not only are they good and do a neat professional job that lasts. I’ve used Bella-Dame Hairbraiding Salon twice. The first time was just a coincidence in the area and started talking to one of the ladies that braid hair and chose to give them a try. Unfortunately I don’t remember her name but she called in Valerie and they did an awesome job on my braids. I just went back for my second time and it is definitely by choice these ladies did an excellent job. They have my hair looking all gorgeous😊!! They also have a young seamstress that comes in and sells African attire I’ll be trying that service too. Thank you ladies!!

After my first visit this is why I love this salon, #1 They do not braid too tight. #2 They move fast. You can easily have two braiders doing your hair to get you IN and OUT in lightning speed. Professional, gentle on your hair, and skilled braiders. I NEVER give reviews about any place that I go to, but I was so impressed that I just had to give a review this time.
