The Westwego Park is a nice community park for a break away from the days work and to take the family. There's a tennis court, walking trail, and kids play area. Unfortunately no bikes, skates, skateboards, and pets. Great for relaxing and reflecting.

Great shady walking path in an old southern neighborhood on the rise. Plenty of towering cypress trees and wide shady oaks shield the path from the sun. A great newer play area for the kiddies and a brand new clean well appointed restroom. Its small but well maintained and enjoyable. I do have to say that the tennis court and batting cages have seen better days. Westwego could use a dog park and a splash pad for tots too...but this park is a gem.

I took the grandbaby here for the first time we had a wonderful day it's nice and clean plenty of things to play on and run around we enjoyed ourselves and on the outside in the Park area the squirrels and beautiful trees very nice place to take the kids. However no picnicking inside the play area unfortunately.

New park in Westwego clean seems pretty nice they have a cement walk / jogging track around the park a new green chain link fence around the park

Not the best nowa days its just a bunch of the same old gang of kids who stop on by, and god help you if you get on there bad side

A place everyone should go to. They Have a Place for RV and Travel Trailers to set up and all a place for the ones that wants to just spend a day there . Great Beach , Great picnic areas with grill to cook on. And Some covered areas all with Tables . Very clean and lots of room , Has Bathrooms and a concession stand with ice cream Snow cones, hotdogs , hamburgers, And more . Great weekend get away for everyone. And Golf Carts welcomed. And bring your Boat, and fishing poles.. They have a area for that to.5 star rating from me

There is plenty of shade on hot days. You can bring a blanket and be cool most of the day. They also cut the grass pretty regularly as well. In short it is pretty nice to just chill the day away there if you want to get out of the house.

Great park, and it has an amazing playground for the kids. They have a walking track, restrooms, and tennis court.

My grandson loves this park. It has slides, swings, monkey bars, Merry go round and tennis courts, also a walking trail...

Beautiful trees, lit up for Christmas.
