The food is delicious. But they cannot supply the demand properly. It took about an hour and a half to get the shovel seafood after ordering. There is not much space for the crowd as they advertised. They had received an order for three portions of Saval Seafood It was take a big time to serve them. after them we are the third who ordered the shovel platter.There are too many working people and they don't have proper understanding yet but they doing there maximum more than there manager. They don't even remember to put some hand wash to wash hands of customers even a tissue to wipe hands

Highly recommend for those who are looking for modern food at reasonable prices and at the same time with a very high level of service. BOYB allowed. Two spaces — one with air conditioning and an outdoor area for smokers, where there is live music. From the first minutes you feel how you are surrounded by attention and care. Ready to fulfill your wishes. I would like to thank the manager and the whole team for wonderful evening!

Since the outer appearance was attractive we wanted to try out the Gune’s Grill and BBQ in Borallesgamuwa. We tried spring rolls and shawarma . Both were tasty. Spring roll potion was more than sufficient for one person. Shawarma is but smaller but it was tasty too. The outer cover of the shawarma was thinner, which is good without too much of flour. I didn’t like the salad given with both shawarma and spring roll because it came without a salad dressing . Overall the food was alright must visit another day to try out their bbq. I liked the interior with the bamboo sticks. It looks cozy with the lighting . There’s this indoor and outdoor area too.

We visited Gune’s on a Wednesday night and had an enjoyable evening. I really liked the design of the restaurant and the bamboo structure at the entrance. It created a nice ambience. I had a single meal BBQ chicken portion and my husband has the Mongolian chicken kottu. There was a hiccup with the service because the waiters kept changing and one of them forgot to give the kottu order to the kitchen. So my husband, who was the hungry one that day, had to wait a longer while for his food. The portions were good. The BBQ chicken was cooked to the right amount, it was still juicy. The sauces that came with it were also tasty. I do wish there was more garlic bread or that the 2 pieces of garlic bread were bigger. The kottu (not pictured) could feed 1.5 people. If you get sides, 1 portion of Kottu would serve 2 people. There was a good amount of chicken in the kottu and the flavors were on point for a Mongolian style. I do look forward to coming back as it’s definitely a different environment to the food scene in the borelasgamuwa area. It’s nice to see places like this opening in this area.

After long found a best place to have some quality and tasty foods.. I found more than 20 prawns 🍤 in the sea food mix rice for the first time in my life.. 🤪 I must say the avocado 🥑 juice is the best of the best 😋 Mouth watering Beef Cheese Chicken Kottu 🍗 I will definitely visit this place again and again since I found a great place like this after a while 👍 Highly recommended

Gune's was disappointing because we waited a long time to try the place and it didn't live up to expectation. We waited for over an hour to be served. My husband noticed the food had been parked on the counter and not served to us for over 10 minutes. When we did get the food, it was soggy and unappetising. The shawarma and burgers (see picture) had cold coleslaw in them. (Very small quantity of meat and a LOT of cabbage and carrot.) The milkshakes had been watered down and were more like drinking milk. The fruit salad we ordered was really nice and fresh. The only thing that was really good. We spent approx Rs.12,000 on this bill...quite reasonable for a table of 4 adults and 3 kids. **However we have to also say we dined here 2 weeks after it's opening - so they have a lot of things they need to iron out - we did decide to visit again in maybe 3 months time

Gune's staff gives a superb and friendly service. Food is really good and very well recommended. The outlet is open till late night and can enjoy live music as well

Food is really good with generous portions. If you order the shovel might as well make a reservation and go since it takes quite long to get the food. The outside band is too loud most of the time. If you can make it an acoustic one the ambiance will be better.
