Nice place to relax with kids. There is kids play area. Normally bit crowded during weekends specially in the evening. You can spend 2/3 hrs with your kids while feeling the nature. After 6 p.m it is closed. However since there is no barrier with river ( although it is not deep) parents should always keep eye on kids.

Good experience but there is a security issue various strangers intervene with the activities of others also no regard for privacy another of this reason i recommend that guards be placed to fulfil any safety concerns..... Also the management of the lagoon is horrible it is filled with various trash and also eutrophication is also found......

I would say this is one of the best places where you should visit if you are around Panadura. If you need to spend some me time then this place can help you out. Also as a family, you can visit there as children can play and enjoy themselves shade under the trees. This is located next to the Anglican church and close to the Panadura hospital and public grounds. A washroom facility is also available. You don't have to pay any amount to enter this park. Finally, this place is calm and clean and has a nice atmosphere.

Good environment

A good place start your day with healthy lifestyle with super fresh sun rays in the morning by walking or jogging and socializing with people. Unfortunately cycling is not allowed. Disable access and ample parking is available in the beside open ground and under the shade of trees around. You can have your breakfast also by trolly shops / buffet carts but the stinky wind comes from lagoon waters will drop your appetite. 😶

Great place in Moratuwa area to take a morning jog or walk. It has a paved track that’s 1.4km long. The air is cool due to the lake. Sometimes it’s a bit smelly though. Especially at the very middle of it where the track changes direction. I recommend early morning or evening when the sun is about to go down. Even though there are solar powered LEDs along the track, most of them are not functioning properly. There are porridge and other breakfast item vendors around the place in the morning as well. This place has a paved track. So it doesn't get muddy after a rain.

A very good place in Panadura just off from the busy galle road to enjoy the evening with the family. This place is dedicated for children. So, couples with stupid activities are not allowed. Many notices have been displayed so that to control couples from indiscipline.

Well, I'm a bit disappointed! This place used to run under proper maintainance.. but at the moment this place littered pretty much. Need good maintaining procedures. And they say this is a children's park but everytime i go there i rarely see kids everywhere i look i see couples 😅 Need some rules or otherwise remove age restrictions.
