A pleasant walk between small houses painted in colors and having some small ornaments, sculptures, statues in between. It's the details that make it interesting, but you should also dive in the small street leading from central square/Roland to the river. It also has interesting surprises.

Really nice part of the city. Very old and well preserved. Most of the restaurants that we loved are here. There is a clock that is truly impressive

Loved exploring the little streets in this quarter. Lots of arty shops, you'll always find something interesting to look at. I believe when every cafe/restaurants/bars/shops are allowed to open again, it will be very nice to wander around these streets.

The Schnoor quarter derives its name from the German word 'Schnur' meaning 'String', resembling the houses look like being lined up on a string. In reality it's just like that: dozens of uniformed tiny houses with sharp angled roof (looks like kids drew them) in different colors and decorations. It was a pleasure to walk these narrow streets - in fact it's one main longer street with some side alleys. Many picturesque bars and restaurants with only few tables capacity, and interesting shops occupy the ground floor of these houses. Schnoor quarter is considered Bremen's oldest part with houses dating back to 15 cent onwards. It's located opposite (across the main street) the Altstadt Old town where's the Cathedral and Rathaus, and it's an entirely pedestrian area

The time spent here was amazing. It was like I've travelled through time. The narrow cobblestone path and beautiful tiny buildings of medieval architecture makes this place the attraction of Bremen. It brings some kind of nostalgia. There are few Cafes, shops, interesting art galleries etc in this street, though a simple walk through here is more than enough.

It is Bremen's oldest quarter where river fishermen and boatmen used to live. Today, the Schnoor is an attraction for tourists and the car-free quarter. It's worth strolling through all the alleyways, because there a many well hidden shops. To be honest it was for me one of favourite places visitting this city. Either during the day or night.

This is a MUST visit. It is so cute and cozy. The little houses all in a row are so different. The little restaurants, cafes, art shops all lined along the narrow street is quite different and pretty

Super cute nieghborhood with medieval or for Harry Potter fans Hogsmead vibe 😊 While I was wandering the streets I felt like I time travelled to another century. The area definitely well preserved. I went there on the weekend. It was crowded and be mind that some streets are real narrow. But I can easily say that this is a must see place when you're visiting Bremen. For some Lucky moment I get to capture the streets empty, hope you like them 😊

I really only walked around in this district. I've eaten here once, but otherwise have tried to stay away, as it's very touristy. However, the cobblestone streets are so beautiful, and it makes for excellent pictures. There are some cute shops I'd have looked at if they hadn't been closed - most close before 6 here other than restaurants! Don't miss it for photos - up to you for eating. 😊

This is the old neighborhood where architecture has been kept intact, small houses next to each other, small local shops with souvenirs, local restaurants hidden through the narrow streets.

You have to see it for yourself, photos only make it look quaint, being there in person makes you realize just how special it really is! It seems to always be busy except for between midnight and 7:00 a.m., there are always people walking and exploring, it's a special place!

Area of a few blocks with medieval houses near the center of Bremen. Full of shops, restaurants, cafes and bars distributed in very friendly streets and alleys. It's worth spending a few hours exploring on foot.

Hottest day of my life. But the Schnoor is always worth a visit. The small streets are amazing and the little stores have treasures hidden in ever corner. Ice cream is a must and the food choices are endless. Of course there is always beer.

Lovely little place with beautiful old houses. There are some paths that go in between buildings, but they are very very small and I don't think everyone can fit through them. The antique store if very lovely and the lady that works there is very kind. This is a place you must go to if you are visiting Bremen!

Do you like culture, beautiful architecture, Harry Potter or art? Then you have to go to Schnoor. Feeling like you're walking straight into a Harry Potter movie set, the crooked buildings, cramped streets and stunning architecture are a must see when in Bremen.

Schnoor is a neighbourhood in the medieval centre of the city of Bremen, and the only part of it that has preserved a medieval character. The streets a beautiful and picturesque. You should definitely visit the schnoor when you’re in Bremen!

An absolute must visit while in Bremen. Adorable section of town that one could meander through, getting completely lost in the numerous shops, art and jewelry stores, cafes, and restaurants.
