    Very bad service to start with. After I ordered I wanted to change something in my ordered, the staff said wait, then she purposely walk around to avoid her pose at the counter until my order was ready to collect, I said I thought I told you I needed to change something, their answer was, 'yeah that's alright'! Alright what? Speechless. I ordered 23 dollars 6 pack meal +$5 for extra 2 pieces of chicken. Then when I came home I opened the box, I was shocked 😲 the box was not even filled half the container! The pieces was smaller than the chicken nibbles from the supermarket. Half a size of what they used to be. Please see pictures of what 8 pieces of chicken looks like.

    Pretty disappointing really. I decided to give KFC Whanganui one last chance...well I finished work late and thought I might just have been unlucky on previous visits No it turns out my previous experiences were completely in line with tonight. My two piece quarter pack was probably close to an eighth pack. Easily the worst KFC I have experienced on every continent i have been to. Have not been to Antarctica yet pretty sure they would do a better job. Sorry for the hatchet job but please raise your game. I will not know however as I will not visit again.

    Ordered two burgers and fries set to be delivered while in isolation. Estimated delivery was over an hour and only past the set hour of delivery did they cancel my order without reasoning. Not only did they take an excessive amount of time to "deliver" the order but they cancelled it well past the due delivery date. Would have been happy for order to be cancelled for good reason shortly after order was processed so could find other options for lunch without waiting well over an hour to still not have anything to eat.

    Just had my delivery order dropped off, they forgot my Rice Bowl that I've already paid for with online payment and when I try to ring them up....the phone never got answer. I understand it's busy at some point, but if you guys spend extra 30 secs to check the order before send out, it would be awesome. But until then it's a 1 star.

    They had run out of sliders,at the time I visited. They are a perfect option without being heavy. Had to choose another solution which was available. But was more up for the sliders,this day. Just saying.went through the drive through.

    well I ordered 4pce H&C bone less pac was luke warm and a 3pce hot and spicy wings they were hot (temp) my partner had a 2 pie 1/4 pack one piece of chicken looks like it was sitting in the warmer all day was dry and only just under luke warm not a good experience when we got home very unhappy

    Expectations are low when visiting a Fast food chain. I get that dine in orders do no get a takeaway pack as well, because of Covid. But that in the whole place no spoons are available to eat the mash is a strange thing. And at the end I was surprised that the quality was even below what I remembered.

    Waited last week for almost an hour to get to be served in the drive through. Told they were closing early because they had no chicken. Meanwhile everyone else whose food I could eat had closed. Went home (out of town) with no dinner. 😡 Then again on Sunday, I went with plenty of time to get dinner, waited almost an hour again. This time someone came out and told us that they were running short on chicken, and limiting orders to 10 pieces. Was late to my meeting that I had come into town for. 😡 The chicken pieces were small as well.

    Ordered food for family and a quarter pack for myself, waited an age then was advised by lad no chicken for 20 mins would I like wings instead. Hungry so said yes, then another girl put some money on the counter without saying anything. I asked lad if that was for me and he said yes so thought well that's nice I'm getting a refund and some food. Got home, had drink and chips but nothing else. Went back as was hungry, they had no idea what was going on, were apologising to every customer for a long wait, and eventually I was told they had no food and that was that! Bit odd as they were still open for another 45 mins. Been to many KFCs round the world, but this one takes the biscuit. Won't bother again.

    Orderd kfc deliverd didn't get my potato & gravey rung up and was rudely fobbed off when asked it to be deliverd no refund no arrival of it useless rude staff , for what you pay youd expect better service I will never order deliverd again reading other reviews it seems a common occurrence of being ripped off by kfc wanganui !

    Friendly staff but the wait was ridiculously long. 30 mins sitting in the drive through and another 35 waiting for my order. 3 stars only because the lady that took my order was lovely and because the chicken was perfectly crispy and spicy 👍🏽

    Horrible. Ordered online, showed up just before it was meant to be ready... was told it hadn't even shown up on the screen yet, 30 minutes later I get my food because no called my number. Terrible. Need better staff

    I must admit I am not as keen on KFC as I used to be. The taste isn't the same, the potato (in the potato and gravy) is tasteless. Then again maybe my buds are getting old and tired. However my review is more about the service T Wanganui KFC. They were less than 10min with my order- 2 quarter packs, 2 large fries, and a large potato and gravy. The crew were quick and efficient, as well as being friendly. By far the best KFC that I have visited in the last 12 months 😃

    🤣 this cant be KFC the way these guys talk to customers it makes u feel like a begger. Order was prepared and kept in hot holding nd with all due respect this old laddy in front... something is definitely wrong with her sorry to say but it felt like she was doing it deliberately. Her rudeness was on another level. 20 mins of waiting when order was in hot holding. This treatment made me to leave a review. Have been to numerous kfc's in different parts of world but this place doesnt deverse to be labeled as KFC 💔 Nd online Takeaway orders cant be handed from drive-thru 🤣 someone needs to review nd explain these staff this concept. Its either way not only from inside of store.

    If you order online, you MUST ask the correct staff member about your order or they will never call out your number. I got my meal 40 minutes after it was supposed to be ready. Other staff members will be helpful but your number still won't get called.

    Shocking service! Waited in the queue for 20 mins to order then 20 min wait for food. No serviettes, no spoon and food was cold. Staff were busy and there seemed no organization amongst staff or a manager present. Other customers order was wrong. People waited in queue and left. A simple "sorry for the long wait" or an announcement to customers the approx wait time.

    I won't be back! The had a very large wet patch (and sticky) although a mat had been put down over the wet mess. I waited so long that I wished I could cancel my order (approx 15 mins). The music was so loud that the server couldn't hear me so I dumbed-down my order. Once outside with my food my popcorn chicken was soft (it used to be crispy?) and the potatoes & gravy tasted awful. First time at KFC in 2 years, but I won't go back.

    Not always been a fan of going here but today I ordered a chicken burger meal at lunchtime. They looked really busy and seemed to be under the pump with orders. When my burger turned up, it was the best made burger that I've ever had. It looked nearly identical to the advertisement for it! The extra piece of chicken and fries were all fresh too. I really enjoyed my meal and thought that the staff working there (Whanganui) did a great job on the food!

    Nice food but had an item missing in our delivery. Tried ringing about missing item, but with many calls had no answer. With only 3 items you wouldn't think they would miss out 1 of them 👎

    On the odd occasion that I attempted an early collection at 10.00, I found myself waiting 10 mins or longer for them to get the equipment going. Other than that, it is fast food, therefore, nothing further to comment on.

    Prices are absolutely horrendous now, with an almost 50% increase in prices since 2019. They have also completely ruined the gravy with the new plastic containers, which ruins the entire meal... KFC is not even an option now. I hope they pull their head out, or go bankrupt... Whanganui KFC specifically, seems to have management issues.

    So I had just brought food from here about 30 minutes ago. They had given me the wrong chicken pieces (i didn't want wicked wings because my son cannot handle spice). They also forgot the extra chicken pieces I had ordered. What else could go wrong? Well I didn't receive any straws, no paper towels and for some reason the potatoe and gravy smelt and taste odd. And then it got worse. I called them about this and basically told me that there is nothing they can do. I didn't have a receipt because they never give one and if you ask for one, they always give you this look hence why I never ask. They offered me a $5 instore credit but after I spent over $50 only to receive that as an option, absolutely ridiculous. I honestly thought McDonald's had the worst customer service but you definitely won that one.

    We ordered our meal for delivery. Got a text to say it was on its way with a tracking link. He went past our street and back to.kfc. I called him and asked him what happend and he was rude to me. Called kfc to ask where our meal was and it was logged as delivered. They said a new lot was being cooked. We received our meal.less than 10.mins later even though we live 10 mins from there. Squashed, soggy and it appears to have been microwaved. So much money spent for an inedible meal. The family vote is to never eat this again. So disappointed with this.

    Went through drive through at approx 12.15pm - peak lunch time in mid week. The food was fresh and yummy. It wasn't overly busy, did have to wait a bit to have my order taken but the customer service rep was apologetic and polite. Good service and food was fast. Considering this KFC has a bad wrap, I was impressed.

    Although they were out of chicken pieces which was clearly stated prior to being served at 10 30 pm on Saturday, i was given the best burger I have ever had and the best service by the drive thru staff. Top notch team under stressful circumstances.

    The foods we ordered are nice and fine. The service though is terrible and unprofessional. The lady in charge on the drive- through was so busy talking to her earphone about Netflix and personal stuffs while we were doing our payment! She looks young and no offense for young workers like her but she needs a verygood training regarding a great customer service.

    Very friendly staff but the self serve was not working there was no coleslaw so had to go with a deal without this. The most disappointing about all KFC is my vehicle is 2.4 meters and I can't go through the drive thru

    Bit of a queue, however once ordered not even 5mins wait👍 Nothing missing👍 Chicken moist & Delish👍 Service was polite an efficient maybe a little quiet couldn't hear with the noise around. Thankyou happy customer enjoyed my dinner.😅👍

    Couldn't get served due to lack of staff I guess. Had to use kiosk & one of those was out of order. Waited 15 minutes behind a queue & left somewhat frustrated when a worker came to close the doors. Seriously this store needs help it always seems to have something wrong. No staff, no chicken, no burger buns. Come on KFC 😡

    What a great come back! We had very good experience at drive thru service on a busy sunday lunch time. Kaitlyn, who took our order been very professional and helpful. The boy staff(forgot to ask name) was very friendly and polite too. Food was very fresh and well packed. Keep it up guys 😀

    Pretty bad actually ordered Zinger Ultimate combo, And a Boneless lunch. Got home Ultimate combo had no piece of chicken or potatoe & Gravy. And the Boneless lunch had no Chips. Everytime we go there they always missing something out. Not impressed 😕. It's not like they were busy as I was the only car for driv thu.

    Terrible service. Waited 30 minutes to get to the counter when my food was ready upon my arrival. The person that served me very clearly wasn't anywhere close to a fluent English speaker. You won't be able to understand a word that Asian lady Is saying.

😠 I was in few weeks ago with my 13 year old daughter. Food wasn’t that great. One of the Indian men working was flirting with my daughter from afar. I caught him licking his lips at her. The food was bad compared to when we first went there a while back. The atmosphere was uncomfortable.
