After a few times calling here, I have to say with all honesty, the receptionist is very Rude and Blunt and not suited to the position. She is completely uninterested and unwilling to even guide you in the right direction. Not the type treatment or reception Patients deserve.

I have been visiting this clinic since I was a child. Over the years, this clinic has deteriorated beyond disbelief. I.e. Reception never picks up calls, receptionist/doctors are rude, doctors forget to send prescriptions to pharmacies and lab test following appts, you will be lucky to get same day appointments, doctors are on holiday more then actually being at work, nurses never call you back after leaving a message for repeat prescriptions, and appointments are always late. If you have any regard for your health, well being and for your life, I would not recommend this clinic at all. I would advise you to go somewhere else. This GP practice is a shamble... real shame, after so many years!

This morning, The reception lady was rude when we wanted to ask about vaccination. She stepped back waving hands yelling “two meters”, felt like we were the diseases. This is definitely not an acceptable attitude to approach anyone esp. the clients. They should learn to be calm and kind during hard time. Lucky I am not their patient!

Over the many years I have been a patient here, over time, the service has got worse & worse. Over charging for straightforward meds. Plus the Dr. never puts all the items on my script, so I have to return & be charged again. Far too over priced for someone one welfare. Other nearby clinics charge even more, so not sure where to go. :(

This clinic showed very little care for my health issues and prescribed me inappropriate medication for something that was not even my main concern and completely disregarded my main health concerns. I was not explained my results and had no follow up. I am deeply unsatisfied with the Doctors here. They have also charged me for consultations I didn't book. If you are looking for caring doctors I would not recommend going here.

Nice enough staff etc but every time I have a blood test I have to chase them up for the results. A simple email to say how it went would go a long way, especially when there has been no improvement in my condition. Other doctors do this, so why cant they. This does not give me any confidence to go back there anymore. Its like they just don't care! Also the doctor I see spends more time talking about his own problems than he does solving mine. I am Moving to another Practice.

Really frustrating experience everyone needs to be aware of. Tried to arrange a doctor's appt for wife and told need a Nurse to triage over the phone. Arranged to call a nurse as requested and then nurse not aware of who or why. Then called back to find out what went wrong and no answer or call back. Just got a txt now saying to go hospital or A&E - Are you serious ?!.

We are so lucky to have Blockhouse Bay Medical Centre. The care is fabulous from the reception, to the nurses, to the doctors. The Centre is always clean and tidy - and a sign of its popularity is that it is a busy place. However the staff keep you updated if anyone is running late. I always feel very well looked after here.

My partner went to this centre yesterday for conjunctivitis, he was prescribed antihistamines and eye drops, and then told if symptoms get worse to then go to the Greenlane Eye Clinic, he was already experiencing eye pain and slight vision loss at this point. We’ve just been to the Greenlane eye clinic… only to be told we shouldn’t have been told by Blockhouse Bay Medical Centre to come without a referral and that they’ve done a poor job by telling my partner to go there without a referral if symptoms worsen… especially when he was already experiencing loss of vision… we were advised to change medical centre upon leaving the clinic

Went in for advice/treatment of my conjunctivitis and loss of vision, doctor that saw me prescribed eye drops. Didnt feel like she was listening to me, told me to go to eye clinic in greenlane if it got worse.. It got worse so went to eye clinic next day. Eye clinic turned me away due to not having referral from doctors.. Unsure why i wasnt referred in the first place.

Rude reception with attitude, will be losing a customer, the reception and doctors clearly don’t care for they’re patients and only care about money , I understand that there business isn’t working out but to hire someone like that appalling

Friendly and helpful receptionist. easy to book my appointment and get a prescription and blood test the same day.
