Finally made it to this neighborhood spot. A little metal background music, interesting atmosphere, some awesome green chili, and great service, resulting in a successful business lunch! Worth checking out!

Loud, fun and delicious! You've gotta try the Hellfire Mac 'n Cheese- it's kicking spicy with the perfect amount of crumbled cheese on top. Noodles were cooked just right and the grilled chicken was juicy and tender. Service was attentive, friendly and genuine. The eggrolls were deliciously flaky and moist with a tasty drizzled sauce that we couldn't get enough of. The fried pickles were crunchy and not greasy. Can't wait to go back and try more food!

Stopped by on a Wednesday night with my wife. Even midweek, not many seats available so we knew we were in for a treat. We sat at the bar and while small inside, atmosphere was great. Bartender was awesome and food was tasty. Will def go back.

This is a great chill dive bar with awesome food! It was super mellow when we went in on a Monday night. Our server was absolutely fantastic and even sat down and chilled with us for a few. The food was unlike the usual bar food, with a great selection. For those who are gluten free, they have a huge selection of items that can be modified and even cooked in a separate fryer to avoid cross contamination. I got the bacon wrapped shrimp lollipops and the beef and cheese egg rolls . We got the cheese dip, guacamole and salsa that actually had some spice to it. Awesome! The challah grilled cheese was fantastic and my husband loved the smoked wings. Cool spot, good vibe and great service and food!

This is such a great place to hang out! The staff was very welcoming & our server was so friendly and attentive, we definitely enjoyed the atmosphere and needed to say that you don’t have to be a metal fan, it seemed that all people inside had fun. Their mean drinks are to die for & you can bring your dog with you! Great spot, we will be back!

Theme is created to overcompensate for a mediocre meal: Way over priced foods, guest service was okay but not what I’d expect in a server, horrible dessert. Cool environment though, food was okay but for the price it was not good, amazing music and art referencing cool, niche bands like Despised Icon, Knocked Loose, Every Time I Die, Slipknot and plenty more. Would come back but definitely not by my own choice.

My 15yr old son found this spot. Super killer! Great music. Great service, food, and drinks. Waitresses are tattooed and cute. Plus the host isn’t bad to look at. Definitely something I wish Nashville had. I will definitely be back before I head home.

Was throughly impressed with this small gastropub. It was recommended by a friend of mine. The server was able to talk us into the Brutal Tots with pork green chili. They come topped with sour cream, and we asked for them to be extra crispy. It was a hit ! Definitely would order again. I had the Brutal burger with cheese. Well made well seasoned. My only concern was that the wet veggies were served right next to my bun, making the lower bun really soggy. Still a delightful burger. I would probably ask the veggies on a separate plate next time. Over great food with great service. I have an eye out for that brisket sandwich next time around.

We stopped by the Brutal Poodle on the way to a drs appointment and had an amazing experience. The staff were super friendly the kitchen was amazingly quick. The restaurant was exceptional clean and has easy accessibility. The food was exceptional and they had many Gluten-Free options. Everything was handled with care and I had no problem at all. I had their CFH sandwich on a gluten free bun with a side of tots and chili. My husband had the brisket sandwich with a side of queso and chips. Definitely will return and highly recommend a stop in. They also have their own lot for parking which was super convenient. Thank you for the amazing experience we will be back.

The service is genuinely friendly and so fast! The food and vibes are so freaking good. If I was planning a date, I'd go shopping at Fashion Nation then walk across the street to the Poodle for lunch.

Awesome little spot, with a great metal theme, solid music, and a cool vibe. Some of the food could honestly be a bit better, but easily overlooked in the larger scheme of things. Definitely recommended.

I ordered the pickles to start off with and they were fantastic!! very crispy almost a little burnt If you know me, I love a little overcooked. Then I ordered the Pho, the noodles were not done, literally still hard. But I took it home with me and when I reheated it, it was great! The drinks were generously poured which made for a great night out in the blizzard! It's a loud bar but lots of cool paintings and decor of rock N roll poodles and more! definitely a place to check out.

One of my favorite spots. The food is amazing (and they have Dr Pepper) and the atmosphere is the best. Punk rock poodles you can’t go wrong. Highly recommend the brutal tots, beyond burger is amazing and the gwarled cheese is so good.

Everything about this restaurant was perfect for me! Within a stones throw of great shopping, enclosed dog 🐶 friendly patio, friendly and helpful service and grade A homemade delicious food! The dry rub wings were phenomenal and my puppy loved the hand breaded chicken tenders. The seasoning on the fries was delicious and the home made bbq was out of this world!

Unique metal bar w/ killer food! The POODLE BITES are a 100% must! They are paired with a siracha maple syrup and I strongly recommend to try it! Small outside patio which was really nice. I asked the bartender to whip me up a sweet drink & he came through with a great drink for even cheaper than most drinks on their menu-impressive! We went there luckily with no plans to be anywhere after which was good -they were understaffed like most places. There was a little mishap w/ us going to the back patio & not putting our names down on a waitlist. There was only 2 people seated outside with about 10 empty tables. Transparency would have been the best way to handle this situation. They should have let us know they were short-handed & it was going to take a little longer than normal instead of telling us we need to get up & put our name on a list even though there was plenty of seating. It wasn't a problem, but they seemed to make it more of an issue it actually was. Will be back again because the food was excellent & their bartender made a great impression!

This place was so interesting and the menu ideas created by the owners are genius. I had the brisket Mac & Cheese and it was fire! Such a cool hidden gem in Denver!

The food was truly a standout. Our steak was cooked perfectly, our waiter recommended a salad with the steak (plus goat cheese!!) and a bowl of the green chili. That is by far the most delicious green chili we have ever had, with just the perfect amount of spice. They also have a host of local brews and a substantial cocktail list. This place looks like a rad as hell dive bar on the outside (and inside) but also has a lovely enclosed patio out back with a mural and plenty of shade. The staff (ours was Devon) are charmingly snarky and friendly, not to mention fast. Don’t let appearances or loud music fool you (if punk/metal isn’t usually your preference), this bar is a stunning example of attention to detail and a kitchen worth its weight in gold.

This place is a vibe! Neat patio, nice bar area, kitschy wall art, lots of murals, and some great music. The food was good and the drinks even better! The cornbread waffle with the chicken was great. Get the Nutella bread pudding. 10/10 recommend.

Food 10/10…Drinks 10/10…Music 10/10…Staff 10/10… this should be a must go place if you’re in the area (or even if it’s a bit of a drive for you, it’s that good). We got the chili rellenos, “gwarled” cheese and the Mac n cheese. The staff was very friendly and super knowledgeable even about our random questions. There is a touch tunes machine near the bar area so you can buy songs to control the music. Such an amazing experience and we can’t wait to go back.

We had to go to Denver for a few things and decided to try a place we've never been to before. We decided on The Brutal Poodle because, well the name is awesome so let's see if the food is. We have nothing but good things to say about the food here and atmosphere. The atmosphere appeared to be a mix of rock and roll, poodles and movie killers. It's a very fun atmosphere. The music playing this day was pretty hard and a little too loud to hold a conversation without raising our voices. Not a complaint, just for awareness. That said, the server was awesome, upbeat and friendly. The Food: We went simple today. We got the Poodle Bites which I forgot to take a picture of, but they were absolutely delicious! They came with a sriracha maple syrup sauce and a mustard aioli that were both delicious. The smoked poodle err, sausage inside that really didn't need any sauce. They were absolutely delicious by themselves. The outer crust was perfectly crisp and the batter alone tasted great as well. My wife got the Gwarled Cheese sandwich that she very much enjoyed. The only criticism she gave it is that she wish it had a little more tomato compote because she didn't even taste it. She got it with regular tater tots that were anything but regular. They were like seasoned crack! Absolutely tasty, I really wanted to know what they used to season them with. They were addictive! I ended up getting the "Holla" Pena Lollipoppas and I just can't put words into how delicious those were as well! A stuffed bacon wrapped shrimp with a smokey flavor and crispiness that was flat out amazing. If you don't mind a relatively loud hard rock background and just want good food, this is an excellent choice. Parking was a challenge for us on this day, but probably because we got there just before 1pm as an event they were having, was about to begin. We will return again for sure and at this time, we highly recommend this place for some delicious food and a fun and friendly atmosphere for lunch. We do not know what the night life is like there and probably never will since we don't live in Denver. I have recommended them to Guy Fieri for Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. Hopefully, they get seen and put on TV. Well done!
