Our guide Roman was superb. He was knowledgeable, kind, and attended to the interests and needs of each participant. He volunteered alternatives at each sites to compensate for the limitations imposed by my senior citizen status. I recommend taking this wonderful tour instead of trying to drive yourself.

My husband and I really enjoyed our tour to Rocky Mountain National Park, Estes Park and the Stanley Hotel. Brian, our tour guide did a wonderful job! The views were amazing! We didn’t see much in the way of wildlife, unfortunately, to no fault of Brian. Just bad timing. Would definitely go back to Explorer Tours when we are back in the Denver area.

Awesome tour! We spent the whole day with Eugene going to Rocky Mountain National Park, and he was both super knowledgeable and very fun. Couldn’t have asked for a better time. My only piece of feedback for this team would be to tell your customers exactly where to meet at Union Station prior to the day of the tour. We purchased our tour from the Get Your Guide app and the instructions just said to “meet your tour guide at Union Station” so I had to text them to figure out exactly where to meet.

It was an easy system to sign up and the company was good at keeping me updated on the tour. It was nice not to worry about driving through the park. David was a very knowledgeable tour guide full of information about what we saw and about Denver.

Brian is awesome. As a guide, he was very knowledgeable, as a driver, he was very safe. All the stops were awesome with great views. The timing was perfect for everything that’s included.

The tour guide was wonderful. Lunch was very good and far exceeded our expectations! There was a lot of thought put into the trip. He also spent extra time at certain locations which made the tour go over an hour, but he was not stingy with his time! Very accommodating for my 6yo son.

We lucked out with weather! Just enough time at every stop. The town of Lyons quaint, Estes Park gorgeous and the Stanley Hotel stop fun (especially if you have seen The Shining). We saw a few large elk bulls and mule deer. The van was comfortable, lunch great and Brian was the best tour guide! It was a long day …so drive back felt long but the scenery made it all worth it!

This was such a great experience and the tour guide was very knowledgeable about everything along the way!! The pictures don’t do it justice as to how beautiful it was!! Definitely a five star tour and a must if you are visiting Denver.

Ernie was the best! He made us all feel welcome and helped us feel comfortable as a group. Our tour was relaxed and comfortable; he made sure we had plenty of water and time for food and bathroom stops. All along the way to our destinations he pointed out interesting sites and gave great background information about the places we would see. It was a perfect half day introduction to the unique areas surrounding the city of Denver.

This was a last minute decision to fill some time before other things we had planned. Everything was right on schedule with the perfect amount of time for sight seeing everything. Even though it rained majority of our tour it was still beautiful! We enjoyed all of the information Brian gave us and enjoyed just talking with him! If we’re ever back in Denver, we will be sure to go on another tour! Highly recommend!

In case you’re thinking of renting a car and exploring on your own, I would definitely not recommend it if you’re not acclimated to the high altitudes. Let’s be real, the summit of Mount Evans is up there and altitude sickness is legit horrible. The Red Rock and Mount Evans Tour was worth its weight in gold. Marc tackled those mountain roads like a pro and had interesting stories and facts to share along the way. He did a phenomenal job on checking in with everyone in our group to make sure we were hydrated, happy, and healthy throughout. Needless to say, his passion for Denver and nature really shined through! Highly recommend any tour with Marc!

Brian was excellent! We were on a comfortable mercedes van. Great driving and informative. He took our photos and didn’t over talk. We saw and learned a lot! I highly recommend this company and Brian. Nice turkey sandwich and plenty of bottled water throughout the tour.

It was an amazing tour! David did a great job. I’m really glad I chose explorer tours. Our tour guide may have been Brian I’m very bad with names. He did a great job though.

This was a phenomenal tour of Garden of the Gods plus Pike’s Peak. Our tour guide, Mark, was so helpful and informative plus navigated the mountains like a pro. The scenery was breathtaking. This was worth every cent paid for the tour!

We made our bus tour to the Rocky Mountain National Park on Oct 3rd 2022 and had a great time. I recommend this tour to everyone who wants to experience the beauty of the Rocky Mountains and learn about all the interesting aspects such as geology, wild life, culture etc. Mark, our guide is an exeptional personality who cares about each individual in the group. At all the view spots he came to everyone asking if he could help taking pictures. His knowledge just pours out of him in a very entertaining way and is easy to understand also for people who are no native english speakers. At the end of the tour he even had live moose prepared for us... :-)

My daughter and I went on the Foothills tour and had a great time! Our guide was very knowledgeable, informative and friendly. The Mercedes tour van was clean, comfortable and nicely air conditioned. Would recommend to anyone visiting Denver who wants a well rounded day trip!

We just had one free day to explore the area and picked the Rocky Mountain National Park tour because it hit a lot of the points of interest in a one day tour. Brian was a great guide, sharing useful information without talking just for the sake of talking. We enjoyed visiting the Stanley Hotel and many stops throughout the park. If anyone saw a deer, elk or other wildlife, he’d pull over safely and let us step out for photos. The sandwich lunch was simple but tasty.

We did 3 amazing tours with Explorer Denver Tours. Pikes Peak & Garden of the Gods Tour with Dave, Rocky Mountain National Park with Ernie and Denver Foothills with Marc. Me and my wife loved and enjoyed all the tours. The guides were all knowledgeable, informative, and accommodating. They are all passionate on what they do. I even promised Ernie with 6 stars. Excellent tour; our guide Dave was informative and a pleasure to spend the day with. I’m from NYC, this was my first time in Denver (and Colorado), and this was the perfect tour to see some of the best scenic outdoors Colorado has to offer. I highly recommend!
