Great place to grab lunch around Niagara county. This place you order at the counter and then grab a table to dine. Quite a variety of options to choose from for subs, food and dessert. This place is known for their glass bottle milk. Ordered the stinger sub with a side of fries. Food portions are huge for lunch and tasty. The sun filled me up and didn’t have a chance to try their ice creams. Overall, will definitely go back for lunch.

Stopped for Ice Cream. Lots of flavors to choose from. Would definitely return if ever in the area again! They also have food but not there for a meal so can't comment.

Yummy fish fry ,this is 1/3 of my fish it was huge!! Choice of potato and it comes with mac salad ,Cole slaw.and a piece of Italian bread. I eat here often ( once every other month) Normally I order the delicious chicken fingers.Tonight we had to try the fish fry, I was so happy we did .Hot ,fast ,fresh and DELICIOUS 🤤.My new favorite for sure!! We will be back and I hope to take a picture BEFORE I dive in .so yummy

The food, service, and atmosphere is great! I love bringing my little girl's with my car out on Friday and Saturday night's to meet like minded people and their families, and often make many new friend's!

We ordered takeout and had some of the new cream. All the ice cream was very good but the blueberry 🫐 was way too blue and stained my mouth and toung. It was in my system for about 5 days, not a wonderful sight. Maybe another flavor would be better.

This is the best little restaurant/ice-cream parlour I have been to. The ice-cream selection is huge and delicious. Friday night fish fry worth every dime. But cheep anyway

If you like good food, this is a must go place . Check out their menu . Its all good and always busy. If nothing else, you need to try their signature EGG NOG. It is made in the dairy with there own recipe. There is nothing better.

I work down the road and eat here about once a week when I don’t feel like packing one more lunch for the week. 😉 Hoovers is always reliable for a tasty, home cooked meal or a fresh grilled Hamburg or hotdog to cure the winter blues. Of course their milk and ice cream are amazing, too. The staff is wonderful and it has a cozy family feel inside. I don’t have a go-to meal because it’s all good!

Regular food was great...ice cream....Holy cow( get the pun) for $7 bucks was very much worth it but almost everyone I know has had stomach issues with thier ice cream I don't hold it against them honestly it's more of a beware will need bathroom 15min after eating kind of deal

Great local restaurant!! Took the grandkids here and enjoyed lunch with their homemade ice cream for dessert!!! Belly rubbin delicious!! Can’t wait to come back and try the fish fry!!!

I usually stop to have hot fudge sundae with marshmallow topping they have a full dinner menu and are pretty fast in preparing your food a huge ice cream bar and they sell their own milk and ice cream pies

Nice local country counter service restaurant. Hoover style fries have bacon, ranch and cheese. Try the home-made pickle relish. The small ice cream cones are huge! The butterfinger ice cream was excellent! Orange chocolate needs more orange.

Food is good, not outstanding, just be prepared to wait. My husband's order was incorrect which made him a little disgruntled but, they made it right and even gave him a free bottle of chocolate milk. The homemade ice cream is FANTASTIC! Unfortunately, because we live about 45 minutes away we probably won't go out of our way to come here again.

You can never go wrong with Perry's ice cream. Service is very polite and efficient, and the restaurant was clean. Loved the music - and John 3:16.

I can't judge their food yet as we never stopped for lunch or dinner, but their milk is top-notch, especially their egg nog around the holidays. However, we came to try their homemade ice cream. This is our third time. We've had their Bubble Yum, Butterscotch, and especially the Peanutbutter Cup. Each flavor is extremely flavorful. Its a hard ice cream, but very smooth texture. The Peanutbutter Cup is like eating a jar of peanutbutter with an ice cream texture. Bubbly Yum tasted exactly like a quality bubble gum ice cream, and the butterscotch was equally flavorful. A small is plenty for a decent portion but if you're an ice cream nut, medium will more than fill you up!

They have delicious specials during the week. Their ice cream is the best, especially in store made ice cream! The prices are very reasonable to the portion sizes. The fish dinner is very good and comes with ice cream. They also have their glass bottle milk, in different flavors, for sale there.During the summer they have car shows.

It is Christmas time and it is a tradition to get eggnog to have and to give during this time. Hoover dairy is the place for eggnog and now eggnog ice cream! If you do not stop by and get some eggnog ice cream You're missing out on something amazing. I got some to go in a large cup and I add a scoop of it to a nice cup of coffee in the morning it is absolutely delicious. If you melt it you can use it as an add-in to a pound cake or a cake also fantastic and I just used it to make my cheesecake. Their food is really good too, but if you are in the area you should always stop in and get a fresh bottle of milk they have so many flavors and it's such a nice treat.

Sweet diner with delicious food and teasonable prices. Half order of onion rings was plenty for 2 to share. Milk comes in glass quart jars from their dairy out back. Ice cream is homemade from the cream skimmed off the milk. So thankful antique shop owner recommended having lunch here. It's off the beaten path but well-worth the 9 mile drive from Niagara Falls.

Top notch ice cream and food joint. Really really we'll run big place near Niagara falls. We got white lightening ice cream, yum. It was old car day outside, so that was cool to see too.

Hoovers is a staple restaurant in this area. Their food is pretty good and they have a variety of daily specials. Their milk and ice cream are incredible. You'll see folks in suits, construction uniforms, parents with kids, and much more diversity in the restaurant. As stated, he fries are the worst thing on their menu- just keep the chips. However, everything else I recommend. They've also never gotten any of my orders wrong and I eat here a few times a month.

Super delicious Greek baked fish fry at Hoover dairy. Includes drink and ice cream dessert. Wow. Can even get senior portions. Do know the hours for these special fish dinners are not the same as they used to be. I missed out a few weeks ago. They begin at noon I guess. Good parking lot. Busy place. Family friendly. Varied menu. Adequately staffed. You can get lunch or dinner here. They have daily dinners or order from the menu. You can get Perry's ice cream or a variety of flavors of milk here made at the Hoover dairy.

Our group of three arrived at about 1 and we ordered and waited for about 40 minutes for our food. They hot the drinks sizes messed up too. I ordered the chicken finger wrap with barbeque and lettuce. Half of the wrap was lettuce and half was the barbeque covered chicken. The chicken that was there was good. I also ordered a Pepsi, because they did not have coke. It tastes almost watered down and had no carbonation. Overall the experience was ok, may or may not be returning.

If you're grandparents opened a restaurant with a standard menu plus today's specials... and served Ice cream treats... this would be it! Prices are great; as opposed to your grandparents fridge...

Food was incredible. I will be back again. Needs a website and a better system for queuing the customers. No reason the line for picking up takeout should be the same line as the one for ordering ice cream. It complicates things unnecessarily.

Food is great but their burgers now are premade tasteless patties instead of the previously homemade burgers used for the awesome supreme sandwich.

Can’t visit the area without coming here. Was in three times during my week long visit. Ice cream is always the best! I highly recommend the stinger wrap. Plan a long visit if it’s busy. Staff is great!

We were running around all day, so we stopped in for a bite to eat. The food was good but definitely overpriced & you have to purchase sides separately. We had a medium twist cone & that was worth what we paid. I have recently found out that you can purchase online & there is a great variety, so excited about trying it out!

They have fair food but either a terrible setup in the kitchen or inexperienced employees. If you're the only one waiting on food expect a good long wait, if you see more than one group in line, more than one empty table waiting, just leave or be prepared to wait 40 minutes for a burger and milkshake. Way too slow for the slightly good food, a wait you'd expect from a Michelin star steakhouse, not some countryside bite.

Wonderful atmosphere. Love the signage. I had the chicken finger wrap and delicious sweet potato fries. Love it all and brought home two bottles of eggnog for a Christmas party. I cant wait to go back. The staff is very friendly also.

Excellent, good variety of Perry's ice cream, good sized servings. Good meal options, they make your order fresh so it can take a little while but worth it! Dairy is out back and you can visit that during the day too.

Always delicious burgers & sandwiches. Sadly, we didn't get ice cream this time. Looking forward to going back for eggnog for the Holidays. If you've never tried their eggnog you are missing out on a fabulous find. It's no wonder people stand in line for it and it often sells out.

I bought some shrimp fry for 9.99$ and French fries (with no salts). I even didn't get 10 pcs of shrimp! Mostly overcooked shrimp with no taste. Not to mention, shrimps were nearly invisible and so tiny. I love Hoover for ice cream and never thought that their food would be terrible like this. Thank you Hoover for such experience. I wont buy anything except ice cream from you.

First time there in many years. Was quite impressed. A huge menu to choose from. Food doesn't take to get, it was even very busy when we were there. Food was delicious, huge portions!! Definitely will be back. Even have kiddie meals!!

We ordered the roast beef dinner special. Very little gravy and very little mashed potatoes. We normally get great food there but this night not worth the money.

Food is great and it's made to order. And don't forget the ice cream and flavored milk! Yummy!!!
