Love taking my grandson to Wheeling Park. He has alot of fun there no matter what he's doing.

I will always hold the park close to my heart as I have had generations of picnics there. I feel like now they should update those bathroom by shelters and playground. Update the pool bath area at the pool. It was like that when I was a kid. I think for the price of the miniature golf they should make it better. It's planks in the ground. The pool seems to always be clean. Alot of nice activities in the pool that are extra. It's a very beautiful setting.

Great ice and great hospitality from the Wheeling coaches and parents. Very cool rink tucked in the hillside with 3 open sides under a large metal shell. Nice locker rooms , and excellent upper observation room over the spectator area with large glass windows and heat.( much needed as it was 9 degrees at puck drop) The indoor warming area is well lit, warm and lots of vending choices for snacks and drinks.

My 2 year old had a blast looking at geese, ducks, fish and playing on the playground. Great place to tucker the kids out. Beautiful landscape!!!! We are visiting from Florida and this is the best place weve been here so far!

The playground has equipment that still isn't working.. at least it's no longer roped off. I also feel to rent any shelters there is outrageously expensive. Restrooms were filthy and no lock on door

Been coming here since before I was born. Great place to meet family and have a picnic. Love the bandstand on the top of the hill. Restrooms are dated but you don't come to the park to stay in the restroom.

Went back to the park after not being there a year, and was very disappointed. The grandkids love the playground, but the edge of the soft flooring is coming unattached, and they tripped over it, skinning knees! Several of the playground toys are in very bad disrepair, and one doesn't function at all! The benches are in TERRIBLE condition! Considering Friday fundays start in a couple days, I'm concerned for the kids safety. I think we may have to forget about this park until it's safe and clean again. 😥😥😥 SEVERELY DISAPPOINTED! Been bringing the grandkids here for three years now, and honestly I wonder if ANY of the playground has had any maintenance since the first time we came! Because it doesn't seem like it. Really unhappy. Come on guys, take care of this park! You can do SO MUCH BETTER THAN THIS!

Such a well-maintained and beautiful park. After living in another state for 30+ years, I always enjoy returning to this park when I visit Wheeling. Renovations to the White Palace are very nice, ADA compliant, and modern. Wheeling Park is certainly a landmark treasure to be enjoyed by everyone.

If you're looking for a nice place to go have a picnic or just even have down time with you and your loved one they have many places where you could sit and talk kids could play at the park there's a dog park and is a nice place all the way around I would recommend this park

Wheeling Park High School is nothing but constant disappointment and short comings. There are definitely a few really great teachers and counselors, but the majority of staff fails to motivate or inspire teens. It saddens me that this is the only option for Ohio County high-schoolers.

Nice 9 hole short track that was in town. The fairways were in decent shape. The greens seemed to be well maintained. Plenty of parking there and greens fee with cart was reasonably priced. There were vending machines but no snack bar in operation. Also has a pool, tennis, part, band stand, skate rink, playground, and put-put golf.

Small but mighty plenty to do at the park,tennis,golf,ice skating,paddle boats,walk around the lake,putt putt golf,swing set ,swimming pool with gigantic slide big reception hall picnic areas not sure I got all of it but I'm sure u get the idea

I work here and love it! I am Assistant Restaurant Manager for am, and couldn't be more excited! I love interacting with with the guests, especially at Christmas time because of my name...it draws people in to conversation.

This is a well maintained park with a man-made lake with a fountain. The grass is mowed and nice and there are walking trails. It's a very nice park. I would highly recommend it.

They have a fun 9-hole golf course that is good for beginners. Had a great time.

Stopped here during a road trip for lunch at the nearby cafe/Starbucks and for the kids to stretch their legs and run around for a bit. Clean, good variety of play equipment, and safe. There is an unfenced pond within the grounds, but not very close to the play area at all.

Excellent dog park I love taking my friendly dog there. Just beware of people with not friendly dogs. My dog was attacked he is ok, but the lady left so fast. I wasn't able to check him over till we reached the car. Take responsibility for your animals in every condition.

Playground is unsafe I did a whole review on why if you search the playground, but overall this place is so overpriced and it needs updated so bad! Park rangers are not nice either!

Beautiful park with lots of features, located conveniently near the highway while still far enough away to avoid the related noise.

Nice mini golf, playground for the kids, lake with ducks and geese. Good picnic areas with tables. Nice for walks or picnics. Good for dog walking. Pool on the other side of the park.

Few cities this size have such an amazing park with a wide variety of things to do. Always fun!

Family Fun Night on Fridays is great for all ages. Granddaughter loved the inflatables but not the boat rides. I thought the boats were dangerous and the water smelled awful. Just stay away from the water and the rest will be wonderful. Need restrooms

Wanted to go out on the golf course and practice my irons. The course was full of people holding up the pace of play drinking and telling me to play through while smashing balls at me as I was “playing through.” Got hit by a ball on hole 7 after these guys told me I could play through. I left after that and will absolutely not play there again. Don’t recommend to any serious golfer. It’s an oversized putt putt course.

I love taking my walks there. Very peaceful.

Unbelievable place for a hockey game!!!! Indoor/outdoor skating rink

Helped rededicate the Dough Boy Stature World War one Memorial. As Chaplain for American Legion Post 1, I led the prayers. The crowd was several hundred strong and the park employees and management went out of their way to be helpful.

I was unaware that there is a type of festival there every Friday night. With music, food, bounce houses etc. I didn't attend, they were just getting set up. But it sounds like a good time.

Kids have a blast, they absolutely love the water slide! The playground needs some updating but everything else was great.

Could use more, easily walkable, access to the lake. Have to park, and then walk, many feet, to any accessible benches. People that have a difficult time walking will find this hard to navigate. If there were more benches, to rest, would be better.
