They do a good job makin sure my girlies get their nails done. They also trim wings (mine don't get trimmed as they're flyers) and they've got plenty of food, toys, and cages.

Very friendly and knowledgeable. We've bought four birds from them and they have all been wonderful pets and very handleable.

First time going in a couple days ago. They have a great selection for fish and birds. Small reptile section in the back. They don't carry dubia roaches for geckos, but then again I have yet to see anyone who does. Overall cute little store!

This place is fantastic!! Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The tanks are very clean, and the fish are very healthy. My family and I purchased an angelfish and two fresh water sharks. We also purchased aquarium plants. My kids also loved the interaction with the birds they have on the opposite side. Great place we will be back.

The staff are the best in terms of knowledge, the selection they carry of freshwater fish is impressive. I've bought over 50 fish from this store over the past 10 years or so and I have never had one single trip for food or for other additions to my tanks, or equipment been let down or had a bad experience. Josh and Bob, you and all the other associates have my thanks! To anyone needing freshwater anything make this the place to go, great prices, knowledgeable staff, large selection of inventory, ya just can't beat it!

I love this place! I got both of my birds here and i also get all their necessities and toys here too. The staff is always very friendly and knowledgeable and while i dont currently have fish, i also love strolling around to look at them too!! The animals seem very happy and well taken care of here

Stopped here for some bird food. They had a wide variety and the prices are reasonable. Also lots of birds available. Cages were clean and birds looked well taken care of. Was told that they do ship food directly to your house.

Store was clean and not cluttered. Had extreme food in stock. Dry good and tank maintenance items were plenty. Tanks could use some extra light in them. Most were kinda dark. Otherwise good fish store.

Doesn't have a huge selection of stuff but it does have everything you would need for a setup and their fish and reptiles seem healthy. I bought a Bearded dragon from them 5 months ago and it has done pretty well. I showed the guy working my setup and and how I wanted to supplement a low heat source for night time and he helped me figure it out.

I've been going here for years fairly limited selection but always a quality selection always sure to have a lot of small school fish some cool goldfish and and many large cichlids

It is always a fun place to purchase toys, food, and pets. Despite being a small store, they have birds ranging from small finches all the way up to cockatoos. I have not visited the fish section much, but I do know they have a lot of little toys for the aquariums.

There birds are the cutest things I've ever seen the people who work there are so nice I would go there whenever I need bird or fish needs

Owners are wonderful to work with Best place to keep your bird when on vacation. You have to have people that knows where to take them if they get sick. Trust them totally.

This bird store was perfect to work with getting my 2 Big birds of Umbrella Cockatoo & Blue & Gold Macaw.The staff is so helpful and the bird they have int he store are healthy & string & great Personalities. Best bird store around and Also the Royal oak store has Mass variety. Recommend to any bird lover.

Great staff, wide selection of bird foods from our little Canary friends all the way up to the macaws and parrots. I take my ringneck here for wing and talon trims rather than drive farther to my vet and they do a great job with my bird, she is very content afterwards!

Very knowledgable about birds. They also do bird boarding so when we go on trips we will be able to be confident our feathered pet is in good hands. All the customers in the parking lot said one of the best kept "secrets" for birds, lizards and fish. Do not buy until you check this store out. You will not be disappointed.

I got two baby cockatiels from here and they are absolutely amazing. Not just the tiels, but Highland Tropical in general as well. We live an hour away, and it was so worth the drive. Not only is the staff extremely friendly and attentive, but they genuinely care about their birds and fish. Every single time I have entered this shop, it has always been an amazing and welcoming experience. I plan on coming back for another cockatiel very soon, I cannot get enough of these loving babies!
