If
you
have
textured
hair,
apparently
you
have
to
call
and
explain
before
booking
an
appointment
online.
I’ve
been
to
The
Dry
Bar
multiple
times
previously
and
have
never
experienced
what
I’ve
experienced
today.
I
booked
my
appointment
online
and
selected
a
blow
dry,
with
a
couple
of
extra
treatments.
When
I
arrived
at
the
salon,
there
were
two
women.
One
which
was
the
receptionist,
the
other
whom
seemed
to
be
the
shift
lead
or
manager.
The
woman
who
appeared
to
be
the
manager
said
to
the
receptionist
“There’s
no
way
we’ll
get
her
done
in
45
minutes,
they
must’ve
booked
her
wrong.”
The
receptionist
turned
to
me
and
told
me
“I’m
sorry,
we’re
not
going
to
be
able
to
take
you
today.”
I
told
them
this
was
unacceptable
I
made
an
appointment
for
exactly
what
I
want,
yet
you
don’t
have
time?”
After
I
explained
why
this
unacceptable
and
that
I
leave
for
vacation
tomorrow
morning,
the
manager
“agreed”
to
take
me
but
made
it
clear
she
would
have
to
wash
me
and
then
help
the
stylist
finish
me.
While
I
got
the
quickest
wash
of
my
life,
I
was
told
that
it’d
be
better
for
me
to
“call”
to
book
my
appointment
so
they
could
ask
me
more
questions
and
I
can
“get
to
know
my
stylist
and
choose
who
I
want”
(yay).
Once
I
got
into
the
chair,
I
had
both
the
manager
and
the
stylist
blowing
me
out
(as
you
can
imagine
it’s
no
fun
having
two
people
pull
your
head
different
ways)
but
I
continued
to
endure
as
I
have
no
option
since
I
leave
for
vacation
the
following
morning.
They
then
begin
to
flat
iron,
and
the
next
client
comes
in
and
I
feel
them
begin
to
rush
even
more.
At
this
point,
I
am
not
only
frustrated
but
hurt
and
embarrassed.
I
could
no
longer
hold
back
my
tears
and
feel
myself
sweating
from
embarrassment
and
having
not
one
but
two
flat
irons
at
450
degrees
in
my
head.
I
kindly
ask
them
to
stop
and
told
them
I
can’t
take
this
anymore.
Needless
to
say,
I
walked
out
with
a
half
done
head
and
no
option
to
get
it
done
before
my
flight
in
the
am.
I
am
beyond
disappointed
and
feel
you
might
as
well
put
a
“white
only”
sign
on
your
door
if
you
are
not
prepared
to
take
clients
that
have
different
textured
hair
and
they
clearly
have
to
take
extra
measures
to
book
an
appointment.
I
am
aware
that
it
takes
more
to
do
textured
hair
but
if
you
want
to
be
inclusive
you
can
add
questions
to
your
website
instead
of
putting
your
team
and
customers
in
very
awkward
unprofessional
settings.
