Been going here since Middle/High School back in the 90’s. Always great service, the pies haven’t changed whatsoever in all that time. By far, the best pizza in Rye. Best thing, I can now enjoy it with a beer LOL (limited selection but hey, a beer is a beer). Cash only so leave your cards at home...

I have been a 30 year customer, often twice a week, and it pains me to write this, but three strikes and you’re out. 1st - received/returned food that had turned (they agreed!) and was told “it’s only broccoli,” with a shrug. No apology, no refund, they just threw it out in front of me and stared with incredulity. 2nd - consistently overcharge. Website, paper menu, and in-person prices are all different. No explanation. 3rd - this evening, while my 19-year-old son, who is on the autism spectrum, was hesitating with his order (because that’s how he is), the owner of Sunrise (Alex) impatiently walked away, ignored us, and served someone else! So we walked away, and I told Alex (the owner) that he lacks manners and respect for neurodivergence. Absolutely insulted and livid. Such disrespect for someone with ASD.

If your in the mood for great ITALIAN food in Rye, don’t drive by. Park your car and and enjoy a great meal at Sunrise.

I ordered the arugula salad pizza, chicken cutlet with lettuce tomato wedge and grandpa pizza. What a knockout! The food was fabulous. The young lady that took the order was kind, friendly and professional. Fast delivery and super friendly delivery person. Food is so awesome you don’t need to go anywhere else. Highly recommended. Don’t miss out

Do not order uber eats from this pizza, these bozos they will scamm you, they advertise 20 to 30 mins delivery but passes hour an half and still says preparing food you try to cancel order they will charge anyways..bunch of bozos

Everything was good just not my favorite compared to a couple of other. I'm a Sicilian pizza fan. Their version isn't really doughy or chewy but airy and dry instead - just not my preference. But I think overall it's a very good pizzeria.

Wow.The Best Meatball Parmigiana I had so far.The Meatballs and cheese combo where Delicious.I can't wait to try other dishes.

Consistently good pizza. Nice grandma, and variety of different pizza toppings to accommodate your taste. Love the mushroom, chicken, bacon, ranch, and regular slice. It can get crowded. Some street parking.

They always have great pizza, I am never disappointed. #realtortom

My family lived in Rye since my ancestors moved here from other countries. They have been an icon in the town and their food tells it all. We recently moved to upstate, and even though the pizza up here is good, it is no match for Sunrise's!!! A dear family member brought us some this weekend and we did not realize how much we missed it!!! If you ever consider branching out, please let us know. WE MISS YOU!!!!!! Don't take great pizza and food for granted!!!!! We love you SUNRISE!!!!!

Love their pizza but you can’t call & place a delivery order you have to use Slice. Not cool! Will not be ordering again any time soon…super annoying!

Had a really excellent experience ordering and picking up my pizzas. The owner, Alex, was very kind and helpful. The pizza is excellent and we will be back soon.

Pizza is great, but attitude from the owners is awful! Like other people mentioned here, they treat you like you’re bothering them. Truly strange.

I ordered a Grandma pizza to go because i was in the area. The pizza is so good, just as good as the best pizza in Brooklyn. Too bad I live an hour away.

Chicken Bacon Ranch is the best I’ve had in New York and I’ve lived in Brooklyn for four years.

RUDEST owner ever. The owner Completely disregards and is short with customers. I have been to the pizzeria at LEAST 3-4 times. Never again. He only wants customers $. Also I saw the owner sneeze on the pizza, used his handkerchief to pick his nose, and did not wash his hands before serving a customer.

The pizza is pretty good but the slices are sexpensive. $3.75 for a plain slice and $5.90 for a speciality.

Just amazing food.... pizza is traditional NY but so many great variations. I love the Grandpa pizza..

We order from Sunrise several times a week. Literally everything on the menu is delicious and arrives super fast. I can't say enough good things about this place.

First time at Sunrise Pizza. The grandma pizza was excellent as well as the standard cheese. My nephew likes the gluten free too!
