This is a very bizarre Marriott. Almost looks like someone converted an office building into a hotel. Outdated rooms and they have strange layouts. The rooms are very large though, if that's what you need for your stay. Grout in tiled bathroom floor was dirty, and the sheets had stains. Also the parking garage is PERILOUS, very narrow ramps, good luck fitting a full sized car. We ended up parking in the lot next door which was apparently not allowed but no one bothered us about it on a weekend.

I had an important item stolen out of me room. I went to report it and they basically gaslighted me. They told me I was imagining it being stolen. They even got angry at me for reporting it. They never bothered to even offer a refund or compensation for the item. I would not recommend anyone stay here. Their maid's steal and their service is unprofessional. Then they tired to charge me $50 for an outlet that they said was broken but it was not. I had been using it the whole time. It was in perfect condition. UPDATE As you can see the hotel responded to my review the same way they responded the first time. This let's me know they haven't changed. Step one gaslight. You can see the denied the charged me for an outlet for an outlet. Step two dismiss everything I have to say and remain defensive. Lastly place blame on the customer and deny responbility. As I stated in my original review I tired to file a report and if you decided not to file it that, that is on you. This is the hotel that my item was stolen and I am not mistaken. I would advise no one to stay here. As you can see if something goes wrong you will be blamed. They are not customer friendly.

Stayed here out of necessity. Probably won't again. Parking was weird. Chexk in was not great. Room was "upgraded" due to status, it was big for no reason but not nice, A/C wasn't working right. Probably won't stay here again.

AC system down in summer ๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž Don't waste your money staying here. Upon checking in my suite front desk lady Samantha downplayed the AC not working in the hotel. In July on a 93ยฐ day they offered me 2 box fans. SMH. The next day they said the ac was up and running but honestly it wasn't comfortable at All. Thermostat never went below 76ยฐ even though I set it at 64. No free parking. I have stayed at several Residence inn and they have always been comfortable this is by far the WORST hotel I have ever stay at. Do not Do not waste your time money here ๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž

Location is convenient to both train station and Westchester Ave and local restaurants Quiet inside hotel Breakfast is sub par for Marriott Air conditioning in room wouldnโ€™t get below 74. Day we left it wouldnโ€™t go below 78 You have to request housekeeping 24 hours in advance Never saw housekeeping on our floor. The hallway and elevators needed a good vacuum !

The sheets on my king bed were for a queen and there were holes in the sheet. They dont up keep the hotel well at all. The front counter staff dress so unprofessionally. Marriott should be embarrassed to put their name on this hotel. The hallway on my floor has not been vacuumed in a week. I have been here for over a week. There are people parking in the handicap spot and had no indentifiable tag as a Handicap. The hotel staff would do nothing about it. The car has been there for days and there is garbage around the car that was never cleaned up either. Such a dissappointment this hotel is.

Located just minutes from the bus and train station the Residence Inn is conveniently located in the business district. They allow dogs which is a big bonus for those traveling with pets. They have a parking garage which has hotel access. It is a little walk to get to Mamaroneck Avenue where the restaurants are. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel, which is excellent. It is reasonably priced. Good place to stay.

If you like your room to get below 74 degrees donโ€™t stay here. They throttle the AC and the room never gets down to a comfortable temp until the middle of the night. I really donโ€™t know how a hotel operator can think this is okay. Iโ€™ve had to stay here twice because of its convenience to where I need to be, and it was the same both times. Not again

The best thing about Residence Inn Westchester is that the rooms are really big, there is plenty of space in the living area and the bedroom as well. There are also two large closets to help keep things organized. It's really designed to be a home away from home for people who need to stay around the area for an extended period of time. The rooms come with most of what one we'll need to feel at home. Guests can cook, but need to take note that there's vent in the kitchen so there's a need to be mindful of what to cook otherwise the smell can linger for a bit. Gym facilities are good enough, several treadmills are available for use. The area around the hotel is perfect for a morning or afternoon jog. There's also a laundry area and pantry at the ground floor, the same with the other locations. Breakfast menu tend to be the same everyday, so that's the downside there. Housekeeping need to be scheduled a day before, which should be ok. Temperature controls in the room is really annoying.

Good location in the city of White Plains, just a few blocks from the MetroNorth train station of the same name. Very clean rooms, loved my king 1 bed suite! Full kitchen, but expect to need to bring your own seasonings if you're cooking real meals, not just reheating stuff. It's well equipped for heating microwave ot oven baked prepared meals, though. Parking garage had plenty of parking available when I visited during the week. I will stay here again when in the area.

Nice size suite with kitchen area. Loved that the bathroom was outside the bedroom. Bed was too soft for comfort. Typical continental breakfast offered.

I recently stayed here for a week for business and my suite was really nice. The room was huge and clean. It was within walking distance to restaurants, bars etc and close to the HPN airport. The water pressure in the shower was stellar! Great water temperature as well. The breakfast options were a bit limited but they did have the staple items. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful during my stay. My only complaint is that I did not have housekeeping clean my room at all however they did bring amenities and extra towels whenever I needed them so it wasn't a huge deal in the end. All in all, I really enjoyed my stay and the room itself was great.

Everyone I dealt with was wonderful! The room was spacious and clean. The motion detector connected to the air conditioning is really a bother. It won't let you select a temperature for the room unless you move around very frequently. I like not to move around while I'm trying to sleep, so I put strips of waving toilet paper on the ceiling to keep the motion sensor happy. That works great!

Very disappointed in my stay at this hotel. My husband sent me flowers as I was away on a business trip and the front desk staff neglected to tell me about the delivery and when I asked that they bring them to my room they never did. I grabbed the flowers on my way out and they were not at all apologetic about the mishap. I don't think its a lot to ask to deliver flowers to someone's room. I will not be staying here again despite being in the area for work for quite some time.

The hotel is not bad. But the front desk guy was annoying. When I arrived there, he just looked at me and said 'We don't have room now.' He must think that I was homeless because I got accident at that time and had many stuffs. So I told him 'I am not weird person. Do you think that I cannot pay?' He told me 'Let me see if we have rooms. Oh, it is available now.' And then, he charged me $360. It is ridicules. I needed a room at that time, so no option. But he was very rude and should learn what the customer service is. The room was not bad, but not worth as $360. It is old and no pool. Nothing. I had a bad experience by Marriott at the night and really feel bad still.

The Residence Inn by Marriott is a great place to stay do a mid-range hotel. Would be my first choice to f hotel accommodation if I were on a business trip. Nice rooms with ample space. One thing that I can say that was amazing was the showers! An AMAZING amount of water pressure! It felt like you were coming out from a spa! The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because of their AC, inadequate. Had a real hard time lowering the room temperature.

Cozy rooms with very convenient location to both downtown restaurants and the metro station. The room was spacious and convenient for a business trip, we definitely appreciated being able to work from the room. Wifi can be a bit slow. The down stairs lobby has a business center and small booths you can work in. Breakfast was pretty good. Staff and reception were efficient and friendly. The only thing I didn't like the that the water pressure in the shower was so high, I felt like I was fighting for my life in there while trying to wash my face.

Fantastic customer service by Sterling at the front desk. The room was fairly clean but definitely in need of updating and maintence. Was surprised to not have air conditioning in an 80 degree room. Stated their air conditioning is "seasonal" and therefore not on in March. Thin walls so a bit loud. Otherwise a good stay and the staff was great.

Air conditioning didnโ€™t work which was unfortunate. Not sure why there are thermostats in the room if we canโ€™t control them (as told by the front desk). We were able to open the windows a bit to get some fresh air. Rooms are a little โ€œtiredโ€ and could use some updating. Beds were super comfortable. For the size of the hotel, it could really benefit to have a bar or restaurant. Only 7-10 minute walk from train station - so that was very convenient. Staff was friendly.

All the amenities were great, laundry, market area,( although limited in selections) for what was there. Room amenities were great. Close within waking distance to restaurants, cafes coffee shops and major retail shopping g

Co worker and I supposed to stay here for work. My room had a lot of black mold in the bathroom and on the shower curtain, and bed bugs under the mattress. My co worker also found bed bugs in his room. Do not stay here!

I've only been in the front lobby because this is where you have to pass to go into the 5 star dim sum restaurant. The lobby is very clean and looks fantastic.

Everything was fine except for the shower it was either very cold or very hot. The staff was fantastic and very helpful, it is an old hotel so a few glitches. I still would recommend.

Stars are with consideration of breakfast that was pretty decent and main lobby. After that the place is a dump. When you get off the elevator the there's no air in the hallway. 1st room we were given had the worst smell of mildew. It literally knocked me in the face. My husband has the worst sense of smell and even he could detect it. After speaking with the young lady at the desk she apologized and offered a bigger suite. We told her the size is not the issue but the smell. Nevertheless on to the 2nd room and yes it was bigger and the smell was slightly less than the first one but definitely noticeable. We called again and was basically told hmm the rooms are all probably going to be the same and it's not much we can do. (Why didnโ€™t she say that from the beginning?) So I spent an hour on the phone with Marriott to see if they could help. Initially they said that they could put me some where else. Then at the last moment they said well we've noted the situation but you'll have to resolve it with the front desk. Ugh! So NO I wouldn't stay there again! They were in the process of renovations. Donโ€™t know if they will remove the mold/mildew out of the walls. I would only recommend it if you don't have allergies or sensitivities to mold and mildew. Or if you don't mind out of desperation buying a face mask to sleep in (like me). Update: After a horrible sleepless night we checked out after breakfast. We managed to pull together CC points and moved to another hotel for the last night. We were saved!!

The worse hotel in the area. Pulled up to the hotel and the driveway was blocked from a local smoking dope was impression 1. Then proceeded inside with an obvious broken AC that they said would be fixed. Got into the room and couldnโ€™t even select cool on the thermostats because they where too cheap to get it fixed prior to the first 80 degree day of the year. Changed rooms with promises it was fixed and ended up sleeping in a 75 degree room with the windows open listening to the town all night. Just run down place that shouldnโ€™t carry the Marriot name.
