Beautiful decor, lovely ambiance and at first, very attentive service, however after we had our main course we were more or less ignored. The food was just the same as our local takeaway but a lot more expensive and didn't offer anything different. We would have liked a dessert but weren't offered the option. Such a shame as it was a treat for my husbands birthday. We won't be going back.

Have dined here twice recently and the food and service is excellent, Steve and George in particular are true professionals and couldn’t do enough for us. The menu has some brilliant options with lots of choices for everyones taste, particularly enjoyed the XO sauce dishes and great seafood choices. Inside has been refurbished tastefully from an old bank to a high standard which creates a nice layout and atmosphere, would definitely recommend. Well done, you all do a fantastic job. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Amazing food and service at 8! A good range of food on the menu, including excellent vegetarian Tofu options 🌱👍🏻 The restaurant is modern, clean and well presented. The staff were extremely helpful and professional. I would highly recommend visiting.

Been on a weekday and the food was fabulous. Went on a weekend night and it wasn't as great but still good. Still a nice place to eat and waiting staff were fantastic especially Jorge

I do not leave reviews very often but I have to for this one. We came for a Christmas Eve meal in a beautiful setting. From the food all the way down to the service, they go above and beyond to make you have the best experience. Food is bursting with flavour and filling. Had some of the best service I’ve ever experienced here, staff are kind, friendly and fantastic with the children. I cannot fault anything with this restaurant at all. Thanks for a lovely evening. We will definitely be back soon!

Just went for their Sunday lunch Menu. Got there at 1pm and there's only a couple of other tables with diners. The place looks very nice and it's clean, service was attentive as others have said. However, the actual food was extremely average. I found the soup very bland. Nothing really wrong with main course, just nothing that amazing in taste. Ie - Had nicer from various takeouts from the other local Chinese takeaways. In summary, for the £17 Sunday lunch menu, nice restaurant and service but didn't leave feeling I had a great lunch there.

Around 40 of us booked three tables for a birthday party 🎉 it was packed when we arrived but on time our tables became available service was excellent the food was lovely and we all had a wonderful night.

Nice,drinks a bit expensive and no draught beers but that’s my choice,local Chinese just as good but obviously not got the service and atmosphere,on the whole very good.

The food was delicious, but when we wanted to order dessert we were told we couldn't have fritters!! So we ordered profiterolls mine were fine but one of our friends were frozen and we weren't offered to have them taken off the bill.

Absolutely love this restaurant , this is my favourite in whitefield. Friendly staff, high quality and authentic chinese food. Lovely vibe and the restaurant is just clean an tidy. I have been here 4 times and never make me disappointed.

Possibly the best Chinese restaurant we have been to, and we have tried a few! Food was exceptional, the hot and sour soup is exactly that. For the main course we shared Szechuan chicken and sea bass with ginger and spring onion, again both were excellent and well seasoned. The chef obviously has a magic touch with the deep fryer, spring rolls and banana fritters were cooked to perfection, not in the slightest greasy and the batter was as light as a feather. Every member of staff treated us like royalty, offering advice and excellent service. We will return soon

This is one of the best Chinese restaurants outside the City's China Town. All staff are very polite and attentive. The food is excellent, and the surroundings are plush yet comfortable.

Wonderful first experience! Great atmosphere with incredibly friendly staff, very happy with the service! The food was absolutely delicious and the cocktails were better than expected! I highly reccomend the duck in plum sauce and the mojitos! We will definitely be coming back! 10/10

We were celebrating two family birthdays and the decor, Chinese food plus service was TOP NOTCH. A great place to chill, relax and fine great food. The Sunday £16.50 3 course deal will definitely prove a great taster to the restaurant. We will definitely be visiting again. Great credit to proprietor Haf Haris plus staff like Tommy and Wendy. Keep it UP ALL.

Lovely decor and great service. Starter ribs were only ok main course ginger chicken with pineapple was lovely. Service was excellent.

I went to 8 Manchester with my husband and sons. We have been many times and all our meals were delicious as usual. We had the sharing platter for 3 and one lot of duck spring rolls and they were also delicious. If you enjoy Chinese food I would highly recommend the restaurant. The staff are very nice and the service is excellent. If you want to go by tram it stops in Whitefield close to 8 Manchester.

Walked in without a reservation and were given notice of an hour for the table which was appreciated, food was quick as we only had an hour but it was still lovely, Highly recommend the share platter to start, an experience to share with the table

My experience was far from enjoyable and completely inedible! All three dishes I ordered, unfortunately were terribly made. Duck was way too dry and tasteless, seafood soup tasted like water with apparently unfrozen mini prawns(event takeaways do better!) Mushroom omlet was oversaulted, couldn't eat even a bite. Cappuccino was decent. Never again

The restaurant looks nice and the staff are very friendly.
