Amazing atmosphere. Music matches the restaurant. Beautifully decorated. Ordered so many different tapas dishes and every one of them were so delicious. Plenty of options for vegetarians and pescatarians. Our waiter was so attentive. Will definitely be going back again and again. Really recommend the cauli wings and the spinach and feta empanadas. Super delicious. Oh and the sangria was super refreshing.

Had a lovely birthday meal for my Mum, the staff were fantastic and service was great. Not badly priced either, will be back in June for my brothers 60th 👍👌🙂

Attended this restaurant with friends and found the experience poor, especially for Spanish restaurant. The food came out one dish at a time rather then all together, when asked the server why this was, she responded with that is how they served things there. Although a poor experience with the food there server's were on hand if and when you needed a drink, maybe it being a Saturday I don't know but doubtful to return, shame as there are quite a lot of great reviews so expectations was high.

Took my son in for a little birthday dinner and he was made to feel very special. Extremely well looked after and Jaiden left with a very full belly. Jaiden loved his fried squid, his favourite. Thank you.

Went in this evening for a friend's birthday and it was amazing. I was one of those annoying spice allergy people and the staff particularly a young man and the chef went above and beyond to check and double check that the food I was ordering was safe to pick which many wouldn't have gone to that trouble. The food was really tasty and the atmosphere was really good and really great friendly staff and would definitely recommend a visit. A really great night thankyou!

We have been eyeing Campo Blanco up for a while now and heard nothing but great things from everyone. Set on 2 floors and extended more upstairs there's plenty of room. As can be expected every one looked to be having a wonderful time and the constant chatter was almost drowning out the music, so made listening to the staff a little hard when they were serving the dishes. Heads up the paella takes 40 mins to cook so order early everything else comes out alot sooner. I ordered hummas and came out after a few minutes. We also had the goats cheese bon bons, blood orange salad, black pudding hash, fish quesadillas, pulled beef empanadas in a crispy pastry, Spanish omlete, and all was very nice, and tasty and served PIPING HOT so dont take the plate off the server without a napkin as I did. The cocktails looked great, Estrella on tap along with a mango IPA that was quite nice. And don't forget to save room for a dessert, we had the Eaton Mess and the salted caramel sundae. A lovely resteraunt and one we will come back to again, thanks to all the friendly staff.

A real taste of Spain here... My husband and I ate here on Thursday 27th April, having just returned from a holiday in Spain...It was so authentic in Campo Blanco, even the background music was Spanish (which I loved). The tapas is fabulous, the service was really good too, everything was explained, very helpful, particularly as we were first time diners there...Emily ( our server was fantastic, very friendly, Ashley was great too, we originally were seated downstairs ( which, for us, was too noisy) we asked if it was quiet upstairs, without a fuss, we were shown to a lovely table upstairs, it was much quieter, better for us too after a long day travelling home, we needed some peace...The food was served beautifully and pretty quickly and was delicious, can't wait to return. Thanks guys, you've got it right here.

We went for tapas for my husband's birthday meal. As my husband is a vegetarian, it was important that there was enough choice on the menu, we were not disappointed! The range was excellent. Not only that but the food was top quality. My husband has a new favourite food... Cauliflower Wings. They were honestly the tastiest morsel on the menu. The staff and management were all friendly and attentive. They had excellent knowledge of the menu and helped with food choices. Food was brought out efficiently, everyone that served us wore a smile and seemed genuinely happy at work. Thank you for helping to make our evening special. We will most definitely be returning customers. Deb & Si

Campo Blanco rapidly became one of my favourite restaurants, not just in the area, but pretty much anywhere. The food is fantastic - so fresh, full of flavour and great portion sizes. The croquettes and the garlic prawns are my absolute favourites and the sangria is fabulous. What makes Campo Blanco stand out for me though, above all else, is the service and atmosphere created by the team there. Attentive and friendly but not overbearing, you're made to feel so welcome. There are little touches that create such a lovely personal experience - I remember several years ago when they recently opened, the restaurant owner personally apologising for a longer than expected wait for drinks, chatting to us about how he was working as wait staff to make up for an unexpected sick-call and then gifting my dad the remainder of the bottle of wine as means of apology. I've had countless restaurant meals since that one but the memory has stuck with me because its things like that which make a place stand out. Our visit last night was as fabulous as ever - thank you to Nathan for your excellent service - and I hope to visit again soon!

Dined here for my Mum and Dad's wedding anniversary. Food was absolutely excellent and matched by the staff who were so attentive. Great place to eat if you've got any food intolerances as the staff and kitchen are really clued up also! Will be back.

Lovely food and ambience. Popped in Saturday lunchtime. We love the fact the bar is dog friendly as we love taking ours with us everywhere. Beautiful food & gorgeous sangria. Only tiny little comment would be the rush to take menus and plates away whilst still eating. It's nice with tapas to pick and mop up sauces from the plates. Apart from that great place, water offered for the dog and really friendly staff. We will be back.

Delicious tapas, and a nice selection of beers! Highly recommend the halloumi and sweet potato, and the black pudding hash, and the churros. Also, the service was on point! Would highly recommend a visit.

Attentive staff and good overall food. Atmosphere was a bit flat. The plastic flowers and muted ambience. The worst thing though was parking. Do not use their "car park" as its small and appalling to use.

Oh Nathan, Nathan, Nathan..... Just the best waiter!!!! THANK YOU for your help and time working through the menu for our parents allergies. Food was delicious and oh my.... those 'cauli wings' were sublime!!!! We will be back!

Our first visit this evening and it was spectacular. The food was delicious and the service was incredible. We were served by Kat and she really looked after us all evening. The food was yummy but the service really made the whole experience. We will definitely be returning.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Campo Blanco this evening celebrating our son's graduation. We've not been before. As a party of 6, 4 of whom are vegans, we're not easy to please. Campo Blanco ticked all of the boxes though. Great service. Delicious food. Special thanks to Kian C. We look forward to visiting again. Thank you.

I chose Campo Blanco to meet with good friends, we were definitely not disappointed, Fabulous night, the food was delicious on all 24 tapas ordered. I would like to comment on the service from the young waitresses/waiters, attention to detail & professional but fun delivery. We’ll be back.

First visit here today and will not be my last. The food was freshly prepared, looked amazing and was a sensory explosion in your mouth when eating!! The Cauli Wings were absolutely divine! Staff very welcoming, approachable. The venue had a lovely, calm atmosphere and was clean and just had a really nice ambience. I can't wait to come back!!

Myself and 4 of my friends had a meal at Campo Blanco last night. I have been before and always found it amazing My friends have never been It was extremely busy, which is a good Sign. We had to wait a little while for the table, which I don’t really mind. The staff kept us informed and were very apologetic. In fairness you can’t throw people off a table Our food didn’t come together and some was cold. Can I just say. The cold food was immediately replaced and staff made a point of sincerely apologising We were all given two rounds of free drinks. We were checked in with constantly A member of staff sat with us and explained they have had some staff move on and a new chef so they are working their way back up to the A* (my words) to what they were until they lost some of the old team. The Manager then made a point of sitting with us and offered us more free drinks She was very apologetic and gave us a £50 voucher off our next meal Staff are fantastic and customer care is absolutely amazing This to me was a little blip. We are all human. Campo Blanco you are still AMAZING 🤩

Hands down the best tapas restaurant I have ever been to. The food, the sangria and the staff are all amazing. We was even lucky enough to win a £100 voucher through an Instagram competition ! Every time we go it just gets nicer and nicer. I would definitely visit this place if you haven’t already you won’t be disappointed!

Friendly staff on arrival, drinks ordered and arrived quickly. Lots of chose on the menu including some new dishes. The service continued to be great- thanks Nathan! Hard to choose favourites but loved the chilli chicken, quesadillas, fajitas and steak. The desserts were super tasty too! Atmosphere was good. It was busy but not loud. The spaces between tables was good- didn’t feel cramped in even though it was busy. The windows downstairs make everything lovely and bright. The sun helps you pretend you’re actually in Spain! The food came quickly and tapas style, and staff made sure we always had a drink in hand. Can’t fault a thing!

Disappointed with my experience here - the portions were incredibly small even for tapas which meant they weren’t very good value for money as the price per dish is also slightly more than many (excellent) tapas places in the area, food was lukewarm in most cases, virtually cold in others. It’s a shame as the food was tasty there just wasn’t enough of it and we weren’t inspired to order more since what we did receive wasn’t hot or good value for money. Glasses were also a little grubby but staff were quick to change them. Lovely decor though and perhaps we just came at a bad time since most other reviews are positive.

Came here today for my birthday. Never been out for tapas in the UK before and was well impressed. Very friendly staff and excellent service. Huge variety of food, and waiting staff happy to talk you through what's what and how it all works. The team even surprised me with a birthday brownie complete with ice cream and sparkler. Couldn't have been more impressed. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and has a lovely atmosphere. Looking forward to going back and taking friends and family when they come to visit us in Whitefield. Just loved it!!!

Had a lovely experience at Campo Blanco, it was our first visit and we weren't disappointed. Our table wasn't quite ready when we arrived but we were invited to go to campanito the restaurants own speakeasy bar. Our table was ready a few minutes later but we were told to take our time with our drinks and not worry about rushing. The food was excellent, really fresh and some interesting takes on traditional Mediterranean tapas. The restaurant went the extra mile for our anniversary and I can't wait to return.

We were looking forward to eating here after seeing the menu online. On the plus side, there were plenty of staff and they were attentive with the service. However, there were issues with the food. Coriander was used as a garnish which was not mentioned on the menu - I dislike coriander so it rendered half the food inedible to me. The leek was hard/undercooked so we couldn't eat it but were still charged for it. The portion sizes were very small, e.g. the short ribs were like two forkfuls of food. We ordered eight plates including bread and two types of potato, but we were still hungry when we left. Sadly, we won't be coming back.

Really nice place. Staff cared about the experience and the food was beautiful. I'd come a little later next visit as it seemed to be family time but really enjoyed the food, service and Sangria. One tiny comment would be if the restaurant is relatively quiet (even until tables start to fill up) give people space. It's much nicer to have a bit of privacy even for a short time.

2 years on from a negative experience I decided to return. Food was very good, the server we had was really friendly and polite. Unfortunately every member of staff appeared to ask us if we were OK for drinks, we had a half full jug of sangria! I would assign one person per table rather than have everyone asking, it was overkill.

Fantastic Tapas, great staff, good vegan / vegetarian options. Highly recommended the the vegan paella 🥘. 5*Can't wait to return 😋

There was a mishap with the timing on our second visit which left us a bit perplexed but it's the first time a restaurant owner has called us to apologize and explain why and how the situation arose. So with that in mind I'm giving this venue 5 stars because the owners really care about their restaurant and the diners that visit. It actually explains why the restaurant has such a good reputation. Thanks Aaron. Older review: The food was ready nice and the staff were lovely. I've got to say that the owners seem to have got a good formula and the venue is probably one of the nicer ones in Whitefield/Prestwich. We didn't get to meet the Chilean chef but compliments on the choice and quality of the food. One very slight tip but it's subjective: the Eton Mess didn't have much hard egg-white in it, which in my opinion is a must for a perfect Eton Mess.

For family reasons, we enjoyed an absolutely sumptuous takeaway from this Whitefield establishment that we had eaten in last year! We over ordered the tapas, of course, but the food was DELICIOUS, and we cleared every dish ending with dipping potatoes in Aioli! Thank you, Campo Blanco 😊😊

Picked Campo Blanco for it's location, and good reviews. Half way between family, we met for food, drink & chat. We read the 5* reviews and #1 TripAdvisor position and looked forward to going. They didn't let us down. Friendly welcoming staff, prompt & attentive. Food was fantastic and the tapas were more than we expected. Little touches made it different, like bottomless soda for a fixed price, handy for drivers. Spent a lovely 2 hours there and we can see ourselves going back again, despite the hour's drive to get there.

Really mediocre experience spoiled further by this apparently being a dog friendly restaurant. A woman with a seasonally-drenched dog was seated immediately side by side with our party. The large dog smelled of wet dog as you’d expect, and was sniffing at our food. The waitress merely brought a bowl of water for the dog, never apologetic that we were being pestered by the dog, nor asking if we minded being so close. Their table was not an arms-length away, even sharing the same bench to sit on. The other customer was apologetic but she was seated there by the staff so had no control over that. There were plenty other places she could’ve sat so we found this appalling. We had to ask for the food to be packaged up and we left. I don’t think many people could enjoy a meal whilst inhaling wet dog and being sniffed at. Very disappointed.

  • 4/5 Gareth H. 2 years ago on Google
Food was good but honestly a little over priced if anything. It's a cozy welcoming place and the Staff were really friendly but I felt that they didn't give much guidance on the dishes, it meant we ended up doubling up on some items. Also we received incorrect drinks on three occasions, it was extremely busy so we can forgive that as they did correct it eventually. Even though we had a few hiccups we would definitely come back again.

A large group of us went here this evening and from start to finish, it was amazing. The food never disappoints and service was excellent. Every single member of staff worked very hard. A special mention must go to Rachel who is in charge of events and was always extremely helpful, professional and accommodating. An absolute credit to the team but is sadly leaving soon. She will be missed. I can't thank you enough.

Had the most gorgeous tapas at Campo Blanco, the food was amazing, everything was served piping hot and no long waits between dishes, our waitress Leah was so lovely too. Really friendly, chatty, attentive and polite. She’s an absolute credit to you. We will be back soon.

Absolutely smashing tasty food and wonderful service not forgetting the draught beer being top notch also. Beats Ramsbottom’s offerings by far. Definitely returning here again :)
