Costa a lotta inside tesco

Took the kids for some hot chocolate and a latte for me and the wife. Good coffee and nice friendly service, easy parking. But we only went there because we went to Timpsons to get some passport photos done, great guy working in there, great customer service.

Gone down hill over the last few years they have lost some brilliant staff replaced by average. For some reason they give me the exact same drink when order a capp or lattee and just ask if I want choc sprinkles on top. The old staff used to make a proper capp with reduced milk and more Thoth. The bald head guy is quite good but all the girls are struggling and seem stressed out all the time.

Bad customer service. Shop very dirty. They don’t clean the tables. Very filthy. We asked workers to clean one of the table. She started complaining. They leave the cups on table until we as customers to pick it up to sit. Slow on orders. No ice machine for over two months. Oven broken for few weeks. No hot sandwiches because of broken oven.

An excellent Costa with great staff, Paul is a breath of fresh air in the morning and he knows exactly how you like you drink. Thanks for making it personal.

Love the coffee

Nice and clean with quick friendly service. Prices are a little high. Good parking and plenty of power points to charge phones and laptops. Much brighter and cleaner since the refit. Lovely comfy couch at the back of the seating area. Great place for people watching.

We sat outside for our coffees but noticed several people buying drinks and food from other places and sitting outside too.think this is in very bad taste for them not Costa.

Came here today for the first time although I've been into Tesco on numerous occasions and I have to say that I'm really disappointed with the coffee I bought. I ordered a flat white to takeaway which I was given. On my way back to the car I started to feel the heat coming through the cup causing me to change hands, after a couple of minutes I decided to take a sip but had to spit it out as it was far too hot. I had to open the lid to allow the drink to cool and when it did the coffee tasted awful as the heat had burnt the coffee. I literally wasted £2.60 which is alot concidering I threw the dam thing away.

I visited this Costa Coffee today along with my severely disabled relative. The sevice we received can only be described as exemplary particularly by “Craig” who not only treated us well but welcomed and served every other customer as if they were the only one that day. I love this extra- mile ethos of service. You are a star Craig along with the rest of the team who were also hardworking and meticulous. You have no idea how you much your contribution was appreciated today. A born leader if ever I saw one. Thank you 😊 .

Staff behind the counter clearly didn't want to be there moaning loudly about the job and throwing things around as they were making coffee's. Had mine almost thrown at me in the cup after it was made.and When I went back as they had given me the wrong one was told "we can't make it again". You'll have to have what you have.

I ordered a take away this morning, when my coffee arrived it had a personal note in there saying good morning to me. it give me a reason to smile this morning. Thank you 5* service.

It was the only place open for breakfast before 08:00 on a bank holiday. Coffee was reliably good and the vegan sausage in a bun was okay with brown sauce. Lone staff member was friendly and helpful.

Not surprisingly serves latte’s… Standard Costa fare and fair :-)

Lovely clean and friendly staff, great place to take a break after shopping or to meet with friends for a catch up. Albeit following the covid restictions in place.
