Beautiful lobby, restaurant, outdoor space and even a fire when you pulled into valet! The rooms could use some upgrades but nothing major. Loved the balconies and indoor pool. Everyone was so great and helpful! The food was delish even the room service. Next time we will rent a boat to see more of the lake. We will be back!

We really enjoyed a week at the Lodge. Absolutely beautiful scenery. Only a mile away from downtown, and easy parking makes it an easy drive or use the free bikes. We liked the food options on site. Fitness center is good. Comfortable and well furnished rooms. Every member of staff at all levels was incredibly friendly and competent. Two issues. Should upgrade tv’s in rooms to allow casting or streaming services. Poor HVAC. It was unseasonably hot on a few days, but even on a normal one our loft could not keep up. 76 degrees or hotter at night which is brutal and stuffy. At least add ceiling fans. We asked for them to check it but it made no difference. A shame, because otherwise everything is perfect.

Our flight was delayed for over 2 hours and we asked for an hour late check out from 11 am to noon. The front desk staff denied the late check-out even though we spent a full week at the hotel for conference. Additionally, our room key card stopped working an hour before check-out time at 10 am instead of 11 am while we were moving our belongings to the car. We had to stop by the front desk to reactivate. Instead of being apologetic, the front desk blames the deactivation d/t credit card. It had no issues for the whole week until the last day. What a way to kick customers out! The room was clean and comfy. It was cleaned well for the week we were there. Compared to Many Glacier Hotel in East Glacier, the view is lacking at the Lodge at Whitefish Lake, but amenities and approximities to food and downtown are better. It would have been a perfect stay if we didn't have poor experience with the front desk on our last day. It is about 45 min to the West Glacier Entrance.

This is the place to stay in Whitefish. If you can afford to stay here or have friends that do you have made it. Located on Whitefish Lake this hotel has beautiful rooms and views. If you ever get the chance just walk through the lobby! It’s amazing in person.

My wife and I have stayed in the Lodge for three years in a row for our Anniversary. Our anniversary is in the quiet season here and for two of those years, we were basically there for the first snow. The Lodge decorates beautifully for Christmas with lots of lights and greenery. We get the King Suite and it is quite spacious, includes a microwave and small refrigerator. There is a large soaking tub. There is an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, as well as hot tubs indoor and outdoor. The outdoor hot tub is quite popular when it is snowy. They supply sandals and bathrobes for getting there. There are quite a few amenities in your room and on site. They have free valet parking, which is quite convenient. The service is friendly. The Boat Club restaurant is on site and frequently has live music in the evenings. During the summer there is a Tiki Bar out by the lake. It is a very romantic place to visit. It is also very close to the ski resort and I believe they have a shuttle available for that, though we haven't used it.

We just had our wedding at the Lodge and as a whole everything was spectacular. We loved the location and epic view. All of the staff we encountered were so friendly and helpful. Jamie, our day of coordinator, was such a joy to work with. She was completely on top of everything, super accommodating, incredibly sweet and just made things flow so smoothly. So grateful for all she did to make our day so incredible. Andrea, who we worked with for a year leading up the wedding was responsive and helpful throughout the process. She did a great job navigating us through all the logistics, details and hurdles throughout the planning process. We stayed in the king bed lake view suite and loved our room. We did tacos for our wedding buffet and the guests loved it. Would absolutely love to be able to come back and visit one day!

Overall a relaxing environment. The exterior and the carpets made the hotel feel more old than nostalgic. They should be considered for an update. All the staff was friendly. A slight miscommunication between departments but they did their best to make it right. I know I marked 5 for service but for the cost per night they could have made it memorable. The concierge was very helpful, the pool staff was friendly. Kudos to room service personnel, Natasha. She made personal calls to employees on our behalf in an effort to find a device that helps my autistic son. If you prefer a lake destination over the ocean vacation, this may work for you

The lodge is beautiful and I would recommend staying here. The staff went above and beyond and we're very friendly, and I loved the variety of activities to do whilst staying here. The loss of a star is because I felt corners were cut to make it cheaper even though the prices are reflecting of a high end environment. I also did not like the coffee bar as my latte was %60 foam and hardly any coffee. They also did not have drink trays so drinks were dropped by many guests including us.

The experience started off rough, and it unfortunately grew worse from there. Very poor communication within the management team, and the service was limited for basic thing. I was in for a wedding and it was not exactly what I expected at all for such a special occasion. The front office manager, Jacob, stepped up and he took the time right some wrongs, which is why I am giving a 3 star, and not a 1. Grounds are beautiful. Service needs some training and customer service assistance. Overall, not very accommodating.

Had a business conference here during the first major snowfall in October. All the staff were helpful and kind. I had some great conversation with the shuttle driver. The bar staff were great. Room was serviced daily. Perhaps most surprising is the valet staff. I recall them holding the door for me and other guests often which really seemed to elevate the service of the lodge. Highly recommend.

Love this cozy and quaint lodge. Definitely need to rip out the carpet soon. However it is such a beautiful spot located right on the lake. All the hotel help there were awesome . Thankyou for the memorable stay Whitefish. Can't wait to return!

We had our wedding at The Lodge and it was simply perfect. Jamie was a dream to work with and it was clear she deeply cared about us having a perfect day. She went out of her way to ensure our needs were met and that we felt supported, heard in our requests, and accommodated. The service during our stay was truly some of the best we have ever had. The food we ate was delicious each time. The spa was wonderful. I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience and will be counting down the seconds until we get to return. I'm so thankful for the team that served us and our families during our stay.

My wife and I just spent two nights at the Lodge and we really enjoyed our stay. The location is superb, the food was great, the scenery was spectacular and the staff was very friendly. The gem though was Jean in the Boat Club restaurant. The fist night’s dinner was exceptional and we returned the second night to be treated again. We had many restaurants to choose from but Jean won us over with her genuine gift of customer service and hospitality. Great job!

If you're looking for noise and a party hotel this is the right place!! If you're looking for a peaceful room over looking a beautiful lake don't bother. The views are spectacular, but the noise the hotel allows along with the partying till 11pm ruins it. We've talked to management, they don't care, they know most only stay once and it's a seasonal resort. Not sure why any resort would allow a hot tub pool area open till 11pm right in front of guest rooms, of course only a resort who knows their money is seasonal and is NOT worried about repeat business!!!

After the crowds of summer go somewhere else - this is a pleasant spot to have a drink - enjoy a meal. Service is good albeit always the common challenges of wait staff never being enough - and sometimes; no fault of theirs; you may have to wait. But with a pleasant "Montana-ish" atmosphere - its easier to do this. Menu items were prepared well - both bar menu and dining menu. We enjoy relaxing here when the seasons allow locals to find a table.

WARNING!!!! If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful place, this is not the place to stay! My wife and came to the lodge for my birthday to spend three days. All three nights there was loud obnoxious behavior at the hot tub area which our room overlooked. We notified the front desk and even talked to the manager at the front desk but all he could do is keep referring to the pool is open until 11:00 P.M ever night. I explained to him that just because it is open that doesn't give other guest the right to cause excessive noise and act obnoxious to prevent other guest from sleeping. His reply was he can't control people from excessive noise and disrupting my sleep. The second night the noise got so bad I called the Whitefish Police dept, the officer spoke with the management then told me since he couldn't hear the noise off the property, he couldn't do anything about it, and it would be up to management to sop the noise. So, after speaking with several employee's and reading other reviews this seems to be a common issue due to the place being privately owned and the owner puts fear in the employees to keep them from doing what's right! apparently, the owner has "old money" in the town and is well known and has the Whitefish police in his pocket, from what I was told by two employees, this makes the situation even more scary. what if the owner or one of his friends does something to someone, your pretty much screwed as it appears the police is truly in his pocket. I can only hope whoever reads this review takes it seriously and reads other reviews that are bad and doesn't just go by the good reviews and makes the same mistake my wife and I did. This is a seasonal place with a lot of visitors, once they get your money there are no refunds or even offers to move you to another room if you experience the issues we did. Again, don't just trust my review, please read the other bad reviews before you get in a situation as we did. Oh, and to top things off, they even have a quite zone sticker in the elevator, but who cares!
