Honestly if i could give 0 stars I would. I have never written a bad review for any company, let alone a local company. i found applejacks country store on 145. After my first visit i go in and order a dining room table and inquire about a custom kitchen island. Lisa, the owner along with her husband agree to make both pieces. I had to make a separate trip to go over custom details about my island. I go into the shop, we discuss my ideas, she draws up exactly what i want and writes up their contract for payment. I pay half of what was owed which was $574.18. At the time Lisa stated it would take around 8 to 10 weeks for my island. Weeks go by and no word about my island. We finally hit the 12 week mark in June. I reach out via Facebook messenger and Applejacks responds by saying it will be another 4 weeks they are super backed up. Ok, I’ll wait another 4 weeks. At 16 weeks, 4 months after my initial deposit i write to them again asking for an update. They read that message and don’t respond. After 24 hours i inquire again. At that point applejacks responds only by saying they refuse To make me my island and refuse to keep our contract.

Very nice store, lots of great items

Lisa, was very welcoming and the store was beautiful. The prices are reasonable and you get great quality furniture and decor. I brought my out of town friend here a few days after my first visit and she loved it as well. There is so much to look at that it may take a few laps to assure you didnt miss anything. Service, Product and price are all on point. This Business is outstanding!

After years of driving by I finally stopped in, and even found somethings that I liked. Reasonable prices for what they are selling and the person who was there the day I stopped was friendly. I'll be going back when I have more "mad" money

In Whitehall, between the Dunkin' Donuts on MacArthur, and the Weis Supermarket, there is the most charming country furnishings store I ever saw. By the time I circled twice around in the two rooms, I wanted to move in. The items are tasteful, well-designed and constructed, and will fit in any room in which you want to add a touch of comfort American Style. They have a wide selection of locally-made wooden furnishings and I have my eye on two pieces that are uniquely designed, beautifully proportioned and finished, and well- priced. The atmosphere is enhanced by soft lighting, soft, clean colors, lovely music and a deliciously fragrant potpourri which is available by the scoop if you'd like to recreate that wonderful fragrance in your own rooms. I purchased two table runners made by a crafts cooperative in Tennessee because I like to buy American, especially handmade American, if it's affordable and well made, and these runners are perfectly beautiful as well. What a great find Applejack's Country Store is, and a pure pleasure to peruse whether you have 10 minutes or an hour to spare. If only I had been allowed to lie down on that beautiful bed and take a cozy nap in that beautiful back room! Zzzzzzz...

This is such an amazing store. Beautiful decor with hand made and custom furniture. The atmosphere feels so warm and cozy it's hard to leave. We had a custom hutch made that is absolutely beautiful. Lisa has this ability to make your vision come to life in the most perfect way. Applejacks is one of my favorite shops for home decor and unique gifts.

Amazing one of a kind place. Amazing owners and staff. Have purchased many things there. Recently asked them to switch around some decor to another piece I liked better. They did it while I waited. So much value for the price. I buy all my gifts there for my sister and girlfriends.

My husband and I went to Applejacks this morning and I wanted to buy every thing in the store! Each piece is beautifully displayed and the store smells so good! It is the nicest store I’ve ever been in! We will be returning soon!
