Recently remodeled, Whitney Park is one of the few Clark County parks that has their water fountain on and offers both a pool and a Splash Pad for lower income Vegans to cool off in. It has mature shade trees combined with new and improved equipment, playgrounds and desert landscaping. Mix in kind and caring staff and you are starting to get the picture. Thank you for doing a wonderful job. Keep up the great work! Bravo!!!

Sadly I didn't take pictures. This was the best water park I've taken my family to. I've never been to a rec center. It was great. The staff was great & very nice. The pool part was very, very affordable. The splash pad was separate. It was small but great. It is desert themed & shaded pretty well(where the parents would sit) The park portion, also very well shaded. You don't see that much here in Vegas. It was awesome. Not crowded at all, we went on a Thursday @noon. There are swings at the park

Not a bad park during the day if you dont mind the hot weather but I'd rather go in the evenings when its a little cooler. The last time i went there was alot of trash which was frustrating because my one and a half year old picks up everything off the ground. I've walked down in the evening to see the homeless washing themselves in the splash pad it made me wonder about how clean the water is. It looks like some kind of alge is building up on the splash pad. I took my son to the swings one night and a homeless man walked up to us and started staring at us. I'm not sure what his intentions where but it made me leave because it felt very uncomfortable. Now I only go with my husband if I want to go in the evening. We occasionally walk our dog around the path and haven't had any trouble. There is also a dog water fountain by some of the benches by the splash pad which is nice if the bowl is clean. We also enjoy playing pokemon go at this park every now and then.

The people whom visit or tend to hang there are sometime very disrespectful and they tend not to pick up the messes they make and they use the grounds for a restroom sat,sun insudevis closedMon,Fri

I'm proud to see that the Whitney water park has really made a difference in beautifying the park, I can't wait to see the kids splashing water with their joyous sound of laughter of happiness.

The construction company I think they're name was wadley. They were doing a amazing job renovating the park. Really nice to see my tax money going into something my family can enjoy

Met a wonderful queen which happened to be apart of the staff at 7-Eleven. She informed me of the programs and exciting editions added to the after school and summer programs

I went to the Community Center for early voting and had a very pleasant experience. I was warmly greeted and given efficient instructions by both older and younger people in the polling place. Great job by great American volunteers maintaining our Democracy in a positive and truly patriotic way. Thank you, neighbors.

They have a great gym here. I have a membership and I work out a few days a week here. It's not a lot of people which I like so I can work out in private most of the time.

Great covered play area and adjacent splash pad. It's a picturesque area of large grass fields and walking paths and near a great variety of dining options! Try Sushi and Joy or the limelight kitchen!

We love this park! For a smaller park, there's LOTS of open space to run around, play frisbee, etc. There's also a bit of shade, great for those hot days! The splash pad is a blast!! So many features! And it's close to the playground and the rec center building so if you need to run to the restroom it's not far. (Which is fantastic when you have a kiddo with you!) We haven't been to the pool yet, but we will be doing that soon.

Loved the great park and community center. We had a large family reunion here. The cimmunity center had a great room and kitchen for the gathering that fit us all well. The water park was awesome! So many lifeguards to keep you safe, great waterslides, and bucket that dumps water! Lazy river, too. $3 for adults, $2 for kids, and $1 for seniors can't be beat. Great for family fun or to cool off. Good splash pad for kids. The water was cold even in mid-July! Safety can be a little concerning, so stay attentive at the park (outside of the gated water park).

I love Whitney Park especially since they added the water area it's been great especially in the 118 degrees heat can't go wrong except one thing you could change is the water coming out of the water park is ice cold

Stumbled upon, looking for a regular park and this park came in handy, and there was water! The weather was super hot. I would recommend it.

I absolutely love this complex because it's huge, clean, well light. But it's extremely well known and often hard to get a net. So...don't come here, it's horrible.

Despite the homeless sitting around sleeping it's a pretty quiet place in the morning

The park is fun but there is alot of dry grass which limits space for picnics. The police are present often.

This park has sooooo much potential but the people who hang around are sketchy af. I can see why familes opt for another park, it's hard to feel safe. There was also a group of teens smoking weed at the benches closest to the playground. I don't care what other people's kids do, but have some respect for the CHILDREN at play and go sit in one of the many fields away from the kids and do you.

Love walking my dogs at this park .very clean and you must pick up after your dogs as children play and adults are sitting in areas to relax and enjoy park .Tennis court and swimming pools has a senior center in area close by 7-eleven .only thing that may become an issue are homeless hanging around or fights in park however have not seen this happen since Police make rounds fights are not allowed for safety of children and adults this park does have parking space available .rest rooms are around in park may not be open to public due to covide-19
