Great park. Lots of sitting areas for parents while kids are playing. It's also a splash pad to keep cool. Basketball counts, dog park, walking trails with nice views. Grass area is also at this location. Depending on the season you can catch a Baseball game, flag football or different activities going on. Good to keep kids busy, walking dogs or bike riding. Bathrooms are usually open which is a plus.

If you want to learn how to garden with native plants, start by visiting the demo garden at Acacia Park. It was built by the Conservation District of Southern Nevada and they know their stuff. Not only do the signs show you what to plant, there's even explanations about composting and pavers. It's a wonderful botanical walk and a great learning experience. The park has a baseball diamond. There are seats to watch the games. There's a dug out for the teams. There's also a paved basketball court. This park has four large meadows for group gatherings. In addition, it has two covered picnic areas with barbecues. It's the perfect place for a kid's birthday party or a romantic al fresco meal. There are two dog park areas and a drinking fountain for both dogs and humans. There are two doors to enter the park so your dog doesn't bound away. The people are really helpful and work with the doors if you have a rambunctious puppy like mine! (Miss Gracie is the Irish setter in the photos.) The bathroom are amazing clean for a park. The commodes are push button. Yes! There's even a handicap stall. The park is part of the Union Pacific Railroad Trail. Acacia Park is actually the trail head for the 7.3 mile trail. The paved trail sits alongside actual working train tracks. There's plenty of FREE parking. It's easy to get to since it's in the elbow between the 215 and the 95.

This is a great park for families. They have a spot where the water shoots out of the ground for the kids to play in and if you help a dog you can enjoy the bark park.

  • 5/5 Kel R. 1 year ago on Google
It was a nice looking neighborhood park... It was quiet because I was there in the early A.M. but there were a few people there with metal detectors and some walking their 4 legged children...

This was a really nice park. I may use this park in the future for my family events. The park has a enclosed dog park. The restrooms were easily accessible and playground was nice along with splash pad.

Such a great place to just chill and have a nice lunch or bring the kiddos. Spacious clean park with plenty of room and a dog park! Restrooms and baseball fields. Gets pretty busy here on the weekends. Definitely a go to for us.

Very pretty and quiet with lots of open space. The dog park is small but you won't want to stay there with all the nice walking trails nearby. Worth a visit, especially if you live in the southeast area.

It's a very small park not to much to do. It does have large fields and a baseball diamond. It's great for sports or even small children. There is also a nice dog park and garden area.

I love walking down here from my house with my dog. Everyone cleans up after their pets and is polite. It’s clean and has great walking/riding paths. I definitely recommend it for a family experience.

My first time going to this park with my dog, it seemed like a nice park to visit. At some point on our walk I noticed my dog was covered in blue paint. Someone had painted a post, but I never noticed a wet paint sign anywhere. I had to take my dog to the groomer that day to get the paint out of his fur. 😡

Very beautiful views of the mountains and very secluded. Quiet, clean park area. Nice for children and families to sit out and have a great time. There's also a wet park for the kids

Awesome park for many sports and close to home! Lights available for baseball games, soccer games, flag football. Basketball court for pickup games with lights. Playground area and a dog park. Large grass areas for everything. Covered picnic areas too and public restrooms.

I came here for my sons birthday party. He is 2.5 and he had a blast on the play gym. The atmosphere was fun and positive and there were a lot of people there. It was nice seeing a lot of people out enjoying the nice weather at a nice park.

You have to take a long walk from the parking lot to the playground and grass. You're not allowed to park on the residential street even on Sunday. We had a party and it was very inconvenient trying to get everything over to the grass. The park itself is so nice and lush grass. The playground has one design that is crazy, a huge hole right in the center of the deck and kids fall in there continuously. It's very dangerous especially with the younger kids. The hole is a designed feature. Crazy placement as it is easy to miss, someone will definitely get hurt on that feature one day. The kids had fun here though.

It’s a really nice neighborhood park with a splash pad and a decent size soccer and baseball fields. This is so perfect for families with little kids and fur babies. It’s pretty clean too so highly recommended.

Always a good spot for walking, playing, or just relaxing. Always hide anything important so if someone walks by they don't cause issues for you. Enjoy and have fun.

Great amenities, easy access to bike/walking paths, and lots of parking. Playground is varied with a lot of options but it's starting to show it's age. Overall, a very good park.

Really enjoy this park :) good playground and big field areas great for kickball. Nice big trees to throw your blanket down while the kids play. Also has a dog park on the other side that is mediocre (we weren't big fans)

Beautiful park with lots of desert plants & if you're lucky, wildlife too. I saw flocks of quails and desert hares. Great place to park to start off the Union Pacific trail.

My two toddlers loved the park. They don't have sand or bark. This makes me so happy because my little girl loves to throw sand and eat bark. Instead they have that really nice rubbery ground! They have four swings. Two of which are for the tinier tots. They have slides. Not sure how many. Four? Five? There's a rock wall. I'm using the term loosely. It's more of a wide grey staircase that is unevenly spaced. There's a few other things like that they can climb on. And of course they have regular stairs to climb up if the tot is tinier. In May they'll have their splash pad too. The only drawback is their benches. They are farther from the park than I'd like. They are in a great position for the splash pad. But for now, if I want to be within chasing distance of my kids, I have to sit on the rubbery ground. There are hills on the other side of the park. And right at the top is the road. They should have benches between the park and the hills to make more of a barrier from the danger. Plus the benches will be close enough to the park I could run after my kids if they misbehave. But for now, I'll sit on the grass there, or on the rubbery ground. If they misbehave we leave any way. Also, there's a bathroom. And they have a grass field. They have a running trail around the park. It's cement. The trail is lined with beautiful plants. Very scenic. They also have a baseball field. Definitely love this park.

Acacia Park is a great neighborhood park in Henderson. The playground is covered and well-maintained. For older kids, there is a baseball field, basketball court, plus ample space for soccer or general play. Two different fenced areas for dogs and don't forget to clean up after your canine. Picnic areas are on both sides of the park, but the covered one's next to the playground offer four grilling spots for each of the two covered areas, so 8 grills total. The bathrooms are clean. For those playing Pokemon Go, you'll find two gyms and about 8 Pokestops at the time of this review.

Perfection!!! Definitely top 5 parks in town. The grass is really green and taken care of. The landscaping is maintained. The whole park is free of graffiti and trash. Very impressive. This is what a great park looks like.

Clean, and overall a great layout. Lots of nice grassy areas and a walking trail around perimeter. Dog parks are clean, but hardly any dogs.. This may be influenced by the time/day. Quite a variety of areas for mixed use. My dog and I will return.
