Yet another great meal at this lovely restaurant. We treated 14 of the family and enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere and ambience that Kenny and his staff always provide. Not to mention the best fillet steak I've had in years. Great food, great service, great restaurant!

We had the set lunch on Thursday which was extremely good and excellent value. Brilliant service will definitely be back

Lovely Italian restaurant. Staff were excellent and the food was delicious!! Reasonably priced overall and atmosphere was great! Although we didn't have an dessert we particularly like the dessert trolley doing the rounds. Highly recommend

Brilliant service and amazing quality produce. The lunch set menu is a steal for the quality of food offered here. We were looked after very well and the place was quite clean. The Italian vegetarian options were offered well and enjoyed the lasagne. The wine option by glasses could cover quite a bit more options, that was the only blip. Other than that, everything was fab!

Lovely friendly atmosphere and great service. Good choice of menu, food delicious and good value for money - what else could you want?

Popped in for lunch with a friend. Food was superb, along with the waiting staff. Prices were more than reasonable (£11 for 2 courses!!). Will be back again for sure!

What a wonderful restaurant. Kenny and your staff should win awards for such excellent food and superb service. We visited on the first night after a friends recommendation and had a really wonderful meal. My wife left her sunglasses on the table so we returned on the second night we were in Ashford for another wonderful meal. Thank you so much for your service and attention to detail. We had a meal in here two course mine was lovely and my friends meal was too if you like a heavy creamy Beef stroganoff and a heavy creamy Mushroom risotto, not a good idea to have two very similar tasting meals so she didn't eat much of them, but my friend had a Tia Maria to start before her food and one of two staff served us the first was an older man who made a comment twice about the Tia Maria ordered as if it is not the done thing my friend replied I'm cold and I feel it will warm me up a bit ! As we were leaving my friend saw the older man making a derogatory remark by pointing to the side of his head doing a circle motion implying that my friend was crazy, it's really bad customer service she won't go back which I don't blame her.

Great staff, good food and very reasonably priced the only thing against it would be the location but once inside it feels very cosy and it does have plenty of parking nearby

Have to book as always busy, dinner for four, big portions and good size table staff are really nice we have been going there 30 years.

Heard good things about this place, but it disappointed me ..it was better years ago I've been told . IT SEEMS TO LACK THE ITALIAN WAY I ordered penne arrabiata first time came too soft second time was a bit too hard. I will be going back to try more in order to give them a better review The desert was good at least .

Went with a group of friends. We had the dinner set menu, which had a variety of meat, fish and vegetarian meals and is good value. Food portions are good size, but it tasted very mediocre, so unfortunately it won't be my first choice for Italian. The service was excellent and desserts looked good, although we didn't have any.

We love this restaurant! We tend to have family birthdays and special occasions here and usually find other excuses to eat here. Wonderful menu and fantastic staff.

Excellent restaurant... We always go here for special occasions because the food is amazing and the atmosphere is so friendly. We have recently started getting take away here as well and it is just as good. Highly recommended!

We pre-booked a table for 4 and were greeted by the staff who seated us & treated us like royalty for the entire evening. They were smartly dressed & conducted themselves professionally. Nothing was to much trouble. The food menu was extensive and our meals cooked wonderfully by the chef. Such a refreshing change to the fast food mentality that grips society nowadays. Don't take my word for it. Book a table with friends & go out for a relaxed dining experience at the Trattoria Romana.
