Here is another locally owned restaurant situated in North Wichita. We all know the flavor from using real charcoal, but many of us skipped to the fast convenience of a gas grill. Get back to that rich, smoky, charcoal flavor on a big 1/3 a pound at least burger. We sampled thendouble open faced chili burger, 2 patties, smothered in real meaty chili served open-faced and the special a giant burger grilled with a kansas made Hot link split open on top. Fries were lightly coated and seasoned and fried to a delicious crispness. simple.food will take you back to a nice back yard bbq but without the fuss.

I'm from out of town, but I make sure to stop here when I'm in Wichita. The food is fresh and excellent. Can't go wrong with a burger, and they do it well.

If you are traveling through Wichita and looking for a good burger this is the place! All Burgers are made to order. I’m hoping that I get to return this summer! I got the Chili Cheeseburger - definitely delicious! Highly recommend giving this place a try!

It had been many years since I last ate here. I stopped in for lunch and was happy to enjoy the same great taste I remembered from so long ago. Will be returning sooner rather than later. Had the #18 dinner. A burger stuffed with cheese. Along with my choice of onion rings and French fries. Love it!

Good local place with great service. I had the chili cheeseburger with no bun for keto dieting. The burger patty had a great taste, the chili was okay, I wish it didn’t have beans which makes it weird to eat with a burger. The fries while a splurge item for me were okay, but nothing special. My dining partner had the hot dogs in buns with chili and really liked his meal.

The burgers are huge. Grill flavor. Fresh. Owner is friendly and enjoys what she does. Staff polite. Everything I've had here was amazing.. oh and did I mention they have pasta? It'll amaze how well a burger joint does pasta! Yum!

The flavor of the burgers here was top notch. Huge size cooked perfectly and for the price it's hard to beat, I'd say best burger in Wichita I've tried. I ate half the next day and it tasted just as good as the day before. The hot link on there was smack I definitely recommend. We got fries, and onion rings which were beer battered, I thought the portions were a little small but they were delicious. The oil they are using is clean you can taste the quality in their food here. We got a stuffed pablano and it needed some salt but it was good on the burger. We tried their chili on the side and it had a good flavor I would try it in my burger next time. Overall good experience thank you guys for having us.

Stopped in for a #7 (hot link burger), pictures seemed fairly unassuming. Holy smokes, I was not ready. I was blown away by the freshness and care that went into that meal. Every individual component from the toppings to the bun to the burger itself were phenomenal! The crispy battered fries were a very welcome addition. Definitely worth going out of the way for!

I love their #7 burger with a hot link on it. Yum! I don't get to eat there very often because it's so far away, but when I am up in that area, I always try to stop in. It's kind of expensive but the staff is nice, the restaurant is... Unique... you will just have to see for yourself, and the burgers are amazing.

The California Burger was delicious! There isn't table service, but the cashier was very helpful with describing the different menu items! Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I will be back to try some other menu items.

They have the best burgers hands down. They have a wide variety of other foods on their menu as well including Italian food and Mexican food. I highly recommend this place. The only thing I don't care for is their hours of operation. They are only open till 3 most days except for weekends. 😞 I wish they were open 24 hrs. 😊

There's not really much to say other than probably one of the best charbroiled burgers in Wichita...!!!!

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I heard they had a good burger, but in Wichita, we have a lot of good burger joints. Bills certainly stands out. I had the burger with a hot link on top. The burger is presented by itself with the fresh toppings on the side in a baggie. This is a brilliant way to serve a burger. Nobody likes warm veggies on a burger. This is how you would serve a burger to guests at home. Let them top the burger as they wish right before they eat it. The fries were also hot and crispy, not cold or limp and brown. Perfectly prepared. I'm glad I gave Bill's a try, and you will be too. I'll definitely be back to try other items from their surprisingly extensive menu.

To a nice quaint place that uses charcoal to cook their burgers; we found it most excellent. With my double cheeseburger having the delicious flavor of being cooked on the grill. To the wonderful fried fish and onion rings.. I was pleased to enjoy this experience. For myself, the pure simplicity and the flavor of the burger is what I needed. The chili on the fries was wonderful as well. My only takeaway, was not having more soda options. We do however, will look forward to returning again.

We only heard of this restaurant today. We saw someone enjoying Chicken Pasta Carbonara and asked where they got it. We drove up to the restaurant and ordered the same. The meal was delicious. I too would recommend friends try Bill's Charcoal Grill. Yum!

Very tasty burgers, highly customizable, the person in behind the register was kind and straightforward. Fries were good but something tells me the onion rings are better, will definitely go back and try more stuff and update this review with my point of view.

I had the California burger combo which came with fries and I added the fountain drink for dine in. I paid approximately $17… I ordered my burger medium well and they serve the fixings on the side. The burger was so good and filling. They have a variety of items to choose from like chicken Alfredo, steak and seafood platters…. The only thing that I didn’t notice on the menu was salad. No garden salad, chef salad, Caesar salad. Hopefully they will consider adding that to their menu soon.

All around great experience! So glad I stopped in. Prices range from $4.99-$20.99. It's *real* food, not like what you'd get at a fast food joint. My order tasted fabulous; the toasted buns were the cherry on top. The other patrons were exceptionally polite and the service was speedy. Being here was reminiscent of a different, better time when people were kinder. I'll be back!

The burgers were great. Toasted bun, meat cooked to to preference (medium), grilled onions. The onion rings were a great substitution! Clean and friendly atmosphere!

I had the double chili cheeseburger. Wife had the California burger with onion rings. We both enjoyed them and will return again to try other menu items.

I hadn't heard of this place nor have I eaten in the restaurant but got the pleasure of trying them at a catered birthday party this weekend. Everything I had was delicious and everyone at our table enjoyed it. I will definitely try to make it into the restaurants

I was excited to find a place close to where I was staying that had nice, simple grilled food! Reviews looked good - I really wanted to love this place. Ordered takeout for my family and when I arrived to pick up, had to wait a little bit before someone noticed I was there...no big deal. Asked for a very common dipping sauce for the chicken fingers I ordered - they didn't carry it, oh well we will live. Food was already packed in bags to go and I paid my money and took it back to the family, five minutes away. Once I opened the bags we were shorted fries, ordered a chili dog dinner only to find the hot dogs were sliced and served open faced and bread was disappointingly soggy and hot dogs were already cold by the time I got home. Regret not ordering the grilled chicken instead, but not so much that I even want to bother going back. Paid nearly $50 for three meals (and one of them was chili dogs) after tip. I'm sorry usually I'm really conservative on reviews but I couldn't explain away this.

Great food. My lunch companion abd I were surprised by how much the prices have increased since my first visit, but I understand inflation has hit us all. Very laid-back vibe with minimal parking and seating. Worth the wait, though!
