Used to be one of our favorite places to eat. Has seriously gone downhill the last few times we have visited. The place is disgustingly dirty. At the time we visited there were very few people but there was trash, food, and even a few cloth napkins all over the floors. Not sure if the pictures will do it justice but i have attached a few. The booth we where we sat had old food in the window which had drawn ants and other insects. All this was before we ever saw the waiter. It was 10-15 minutes before he came to the table and then couldn't even get drinks correct. Came back to the table 3 different times just to figure them out. We had to ask 4 separate times to get salt, several more times to get our Espinoca. When the Espinoca finally arrived, the waiter rolled his eyes and proceeded to toss it on the table with loud thud. We ordered three entrées, two of which were incorrect when brought to our table. One was fixed but the other we ended up chalking up as a loss and finally just removed from our ticket. All in all, a horrible experience a subpar and rude waiter. Glad there is a Jose Peppers on the West side because we will not be back to this location.

Thank you Kaleb!!! He was amazing stayed on top of drinks, didn't over talk, and was very nice. Mixed drinks where amazing and the food was good. Didn't have to order off of a QR code. Place was clean, colorful, and a very inviting. We would definitely try this again.

This evening 6-25-2023 at 7:50 pm my husband and I went in to celebrate his birthday let me say this was our 1st visit ever. We were immediately seated but at a very tiny table, which we did ask to be reseated at a regular booth so that we had enough room to actually eat. After sitting for 10 minutes with no waiter or waitress to say one word we left. I must say in ten minutes I watched employees on cellphones, hanging out in booths with their legs and feet up all while we were waiting to simply get a cup and be greeted. I would never recommend this establishment period. By the way they were far from busy. It was very empty!

Wow! Very pleasantly surprised. We are from out of town near Mexico and are pretty picky about our Mexican food but we thought it was very delicious! We got a number of things and they all had really good flavors and seemed fresh! Service was great and fast and they were very accommodating. If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll be back!

The food was delicious, the drinks were too and let’s not forget our server! He was so pleasant and helpful. I meant to get his name to add it in this review. Just know we will visit again because of the service, food, and drinks!

Good food good service. Got my second glass of tea with lipstick on it. Told the manager and she didn't do anything about but to say they will work harder to not let this happen. Shouldn't the dishwasher take lipstick off the glasses if they are truly washed? 200 degrees water and soap should clean that off. I guess managers don't care that their patrons raise a complaint anymore. Back in my day managers would be taking some off the bill or offering a free dessert.

Went for my birthday and though they were busy, or waitress was fantastic and brought things quickly, was very friendly, and the food was delicious (I always get the shrimp tacos, they are phenomenal). It was loud when we first got there but we expected that for a Saturday night. Would recommend and will be back.

Normally, I have usually enjoyed this brand. This was my second visit to the east Wichita store. Our server was less than pleasant and that really set the tone for the whole meal. The appetizer was good. We shared an entree which was less than good though. I probably should have asked to speak with a manager about the service. We were just happy to leave though.

The food is usually quite good. I've always experienced something wrong with each meal. I have tried so hard to like this place, but my most recent visit will be my last, the good didn't outweigh the bad this time and honestly I'm tired of always having something wrong with my dish. Servers are good, and management is nice and helpful, but after so many less than great experiences, I have to give up. I still recommend the place because I know I'm just unlucky with the problems I've had and can't imagine they are frequent occurrences.

Our server Sydney was phenomenal (she had to put up with us) lol and we wish her the best of luck in her future endeavors as a make up artisit The food I ordered wasn't the greatest but it was edible. The salsa is usually always on point, this time it was more of a straight tomato taste. Espinaca was great! Overall fair experience on the food. Great service

My new favorite place! Lots of flavor, great prices, & super friendly service! Even loved how they had hand sanitizer on the table! (Salsa is really good too)

This is my first experience at Jose peppers it was amazing the staff member knew exactly what he was talking about when I ordered my food he offered many options that he said he had even tried and his family loved so I ordered the shrimp and crab meat enchiladas which were to die for they were amazing! I believe Jose peppers has now become one of my favorite places and don't forget they make amazing chips and salsa! 😋

An hour wait when we got there when they clearly had tables available. The waiter was nice but then my food was late and everyone was nearly done eating by time i got my food. The waiter kept cracking jokes about it even though he could tell i frustrated. I ended up boxing my meal up and taking it home by time I got it. Also I order beef enchiladas and he joked saying they were going to be chicken, jokes on him because they were cheese. Must've knew the food was going to also be incorrect after such a long wait. Won't be back.

Amazing , Miles was an outstanding waiter. Did not have to ask for anything. Described the anniversary burrito to the t and was excellent with the sauce trio!! Gave us drinks and chips and salsa to take with us. Excellent!!
