Totally quiet unobstructed and away from town. Beautiful place to watch sunrise or sunset its quiet just a great place to get away from town I would recommend.

Clean, peaceful place to just chill. Most people mind their own business.

Busy with drones and model aircraft! Lots of biking and some walking going on.

Great airfield for arc planes

AMA chartered flying site operated by the Wichita Radio Control Club by airspace use authorization from FAA and McConnell AFB. All forms of radio control aircraft (airplanes, helicopters, quads/drones, sailplanes, gliders, EDF jets, etc) are welcome (turbines are prohibited by city ordinance). All pilots must produce current AMA card and FAA UAS operator number upon request. Look up "Wichita Area RC Pilots" on FB Groups to connect! Flying site is separated from dog park area. Portable latrines are provided on site year round. No electricity or lighting.

Friendly people and really nice air field, but it needs electric outlets to charge batteries!
